The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

“These things don’t tend to like the cold that much.”
Sam noted the USB ports, “Well, it’s a good thing I can do this…” He smiled and un froze his right hand, “Not let me take a look at those.” Sam was really curious to see what the guy in a frozen cube was willing to kill for. Sam’s curiosity got the better of him as Sam walked towards Sara and slowly extending his hand for the USB ports.

“Well, it’s a good thing I can do this…”
"Handy." Sara commented as she watched the hand deice. He came forward and she shifted her weight to walk by. To not have her back against the ice wall and to help close the gap between them. The Thumb devise was tossed before they had gotten within arms reach of each other. "There is everything you need to know." Witch once he opened it up wouldn't have anything as it was one of her fakes. Her steps continued, headed to a corner where she intended to leave.

Sam looked around as if someone was playing a trick on him, his first encounter with Sara didn’t go so great so why was she so cooperative now? He didn’t even need to say please. This was weird, Sara was the type from what Sam understood to be trickier and to herself than most people would expect. Which is understandable when she looks like a lioness, she probably had to only rely on her self since she was a kid and that was a feeling that Sam was all to familiar with. Sam snapped his fingers, which caused the ice wall that blocked the ally way she was trying to run through.
Sam walked over to Sara and said, “Hold on a second.” Sam held open his hands in a kind gesture and pulled a card from his wallet, it had his name cell number and his current place of residence, which was the X-Mansion. Then Sam spoke in a calm and friendly voice, “I don’t know why I am giving this to you, call it instinct or something but I have a feeling your gonna need to get a hold of me for some reason in the near future and when you do don’t hesitate to call me, I am trying to be an X-Men after all.” Sam smiled at her and walked back to the ice box where the armed gun man was, “Oh yeah,” Sam turned and threw the USB Ports in Sara’s direction, “I have a feeling that there is nothing on these, you don’t seem like the type of girl to give something up so easily. And with that Sam started walking to the cube where the armed gunman was.
Sara’s pace halted just as the wall shot up in front of her. “You know, that ability of yours is very annoying.” Her heart sped up for about three beats, and she closed her eyes, succeeding in bringing it back down.
“Hold on a second.”
Sara turned her head enough that she could lift an eye brow and see Sam out of the corner of her vision. She eyed the card for a second before taking it, and immediately smelling it. As if it could be more than a card. Well in her experiences it could be. “Hand too many of these things out, and you’re going to get a butt load of prank phone calls.”
“I don’t know why I am giving this to you, call it instinct or something but I have a feeling your gonna need to get a hold of me for some reason in the near future and when you do don’t hesitate to call me, I am trying to be an X-Men after all.”
She took a moment, to memorize the number, even though she really had no intention in using it. “I’m familiar with the X-men.” She sighed. “I met quite a few of them at the camps.” And if she didn’t see some of them as hypocrites she might be staring at her own address right now, rather than still choosing to work alone and falling into old habits. “Tell Neena that I said hi. I’ll have to come visit for a day or something. Perhaps we’ll discuss your wallet.” Visiting, and talking to, Neena, not Sam. The address didn’t need memorizing. Sara already knew where it was thanks to Ted.
“Oh yeah, I have a feeling that there is nothing on these, you don’t seem like the type of girl to give something up so easily.”
She took the little device back. “Actually there’s plenty on these.” Just not the right information. “Look on the bright side. You probably wont have to deal with me in this situation again, for another six months.”
The sirens were getting closer and closer. Sam had blocked two ways of escape and entering the area, witch left going through the surrounding buildings, unless he decided to ice those up too. She slid a window open, and moved to drop herself inside. “mind his hand.” She informed Sam since he was now near the gunman. “I think I broke something with that rock.”

“Tell Neena that I said hi. I’ll have to come visit for a day or something. Perhaps we’ll discuss your wallet.”
Sam immediately froze his body stopped moving altogether he could only think of what would happen if she did that. Sam would be out on the streets within seconds. There is no way Neena and the others would let him continue to live at the mansion once they found out things that would eventually lead back to his shady history. “I think I broke something with that rock.”
Sam’s previous expression of fear faded as Sara spoke, “Well seeing as he had a few shots that landed on you I think he should consider himself lucky.” Sam smiled and snapped his fingers again and all the ice in the ally shattered and fell into dust before it landed. Sam waved a hand and said, “Well Sara till the next time we meet.” With that he grabbed the guy who was now going for the gun and froze his hands behind his back. “Just in time.” Sam said as he saw the police pulling down the alley as he was ready to hand over the now immobile gunman.

Sara reached the other side of the room, before she turned around. Glancing at Sam, long enough to be sure he had the gunman under control properly. Not that he really should be having a problem with that. Then, she turned to leave. Letting Sam do all the stuff with the police.
