The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Flloyd reached out and put his hand on the stunned Naveed. His mind had just been flooded with Raina's fears and he felt in a fog. "Naveed" he spoke clearly. "I saw her fears and they are very real and involve that cop. We need to follow her this time my friend. " He went back to the bike and revved the engion once more. He tossed Naveed a helmet. "She's not getting away this time. I can be patient but this time we need to act." He extended his hand for Navi to join him and took off after Raina.
ooc: I think we're all going to continue on the "on the run" thread with werecat and then head on to the labs.

Streak had finally seen Raina in all the chaos. She's still here. he thought. Then he saw her brother come up to her and lead her towards the bike. Good she's going to leave. Then he saw her leave her brother. She must not have found Sara yet. He swooped down closer towards the ground so that he was following her from above. He looked back and saw her brother and the other guy get onto a their bike and follow her as well.
He yelled to her from directly above, "I'd follow you but I need to get sine help. I'll see you at the labs." He turned around and went back to Pix. He landed and said to her, "She'll be fine her brother's looking after her. Let's go." He walked towards the escape route and hoped him and Pix didn't run into any more guards or anything. Streak didn't think he could handle any more fighting, just for the lack of energy and stamina from his wounds.
Zero turned around slightly suprised to see a mutant behind him, he assumed this was secure but he was glad that the mutant didn't mistake him for a real guard as he didn't want to draw to much attention to himself, he looked at the mutant and began to take off the guard uniform allowing his actual clothes, a black skintight jumpsuit with a large red contra symbol on it show
Thanks soldier, that could have been a close call, however I believe we should move out now as it looks like the mutants are starting to thin out and the trucks are filling up quickly
He then noticed a guard climbing up the ladder behind the mutant, he quickly drew a pistol from a holster on his shoe and shot him between the eyes, the guard fell immediatly from the ladder and hit the ground in a pool of his own blood, Zero then grabbed his rifle and took off past the mutant down the ladder
You coming, we should really clear out before this gets to messy
Zero slid down the ladder and began running across the battleground, he could see the trucks within meters off him, when he noticed the same silvery figure from before limping across the field, very near to the trucks, he was badly wounded but there was a single guard gaining on him, with pistol still in hand he took aim and shot the guard between the eyes, he stumbled and fell to the ground dying in moments, Zero finally arrived at the trucks, leaping into one he held his gun at the ready just in case and waited for them to speed away after all the mutants had boarded

After Streak had spotted Raina and landed back with Pix, he headed towards the convoys. He walked along clutching his wounds and limping a little. He saw another guard coming at him and he said more to himself than anyone, "Why can't y'all just leave me alone?" He got ready to fight him even though he would have had a lot of trouble from his wounds. All of the sudden the guard dropped dead from a shot to the head. Streak didn't say anything he just kept walking towards the vehicles.
He kept his eyes focused on the vehicles, stumbling every once in a while from the blood loss and pain. He began to sweat, way more than he should have for what was going on. Streak figured it was because of the exertion from fighting. It was all he could do to keep moving. Finally he made it to the vehicles where there were already a few mutants in. He saw one carrying a rifle and said to him, "Thanks for the protection back there. I'm assuming it was you who shot those guards that were attacking me."
"Name's Silver Streak, or Streak for short." he said to the guy holding the rifle. Streak held out his left hand, mainly cause his right was covered in blood and keeping pressure on his wounds. As the vehicle puled away with all the mutants it could hold he fell asleep, mostly from exhaustion but also from pain, anguish, and worry for Raina, himself, and all the other mutants that were still there. Were there enough vehicles to get everyone out? He had a feeling this amount of sweating wasn't normal for anyone even for someone who had just been fighting, however he wouldn't be sure until he saw a doctor.
A trail of blood droplets following the invisible mutant through the chaos. The darkness of the night protected Shade from the unwanted eyes of the guards. A sudden explosion might have revealed his location every once in a while, but the bright flash quickly faded into a darkness that instantly veiled the mutant.
At the call to retreat, Shade began to move through the chaos back to the trucks. He, of course, could of just jumped back to the armored vehicles, but where was the fun in that? He wanted to see the destruction first hand. Patrolling along the outside of the masses, Shade took time to stop and admire some of the nice scenery that had once been a guard's intestine.
After his inspection and several other stops along the way, Shade finally made it to the canavan. He climbed into the cab as the light caused him to appear from nowhere. His clothes were still damp with blood and a red line ran down the left side of his face. Sighing happily with that evil smirk still across his face, Shade got comfortable in one of the seats as he waited for the convoy to move out.
Lee jogged behind Dragon King through the rest of the camp. Luckily for her, his weird cape-like shield thing that was protecting her from random gunshots was also blocking out most sight of the gore and destruction around them.
Finally, they reached the wall around the camp, and the hole that had been blown in it. After making their way through and the weird shield had been dropped from around her, Lee took a quick look around and saw a lot of large trucks.
And a tank. Where the hell had they gotten a tank[/i]?
Despite everything, Lee couldn't help but smile slightly. She was in the States, you could get anything at Walmart apparently.*
Shaking that off, really, how surprising is seeing a tank after everything else she had seen so far that day, Lee kept going, following behind Dragon King as he carried Tarin to one of the trucks. Then, once Tarin was settled, and from everything she could tell short of shaking him to check, asleep, Lee settled down herself on the opposite side of the truck, wanting them to hurry up and get them out of there.

ooc: So I'm not finished my little side threads, but I think in order to keep up with everyone else I need to finish up here! This may not be exactly in line with my other threads and I'll edit if I have to
ic:
Raina had finally found Sara and her mind was at ease. Naveed had been angry and yelled about getting her out. Flloyd had been quiet the whole time but insisted that she get on the bike to go.
She stopped and took one more look back at the camps. She tugged on the jacket around her. Did Rupert get out? She wasn't sure. Every inch of her wanted to find out but she knew she just coudlnt go back.
Flloyd and Naveed had mentioned earlier about a safe place... some place close... some place she hadn't heard of. She was slipping away from reality as Flloyd helped her onto the bike.
(I’m still finishing the side threads I think but for now this should keep me caught up.)
Sara had found her way back to the tanks. Avoiding guards wasn’t hard to do now, since many were either death, dieing, crouched in a corner wishing they were dead, or had run away. What had happened to that guard with blue hair anyways? Oh well. Wasn’t like Sara would ever see her again. Nasty old lady anyways.
Raina was on the bike, and it looked as though she had two body guards protecting her. Why did she even have to go back for the feline. All in Sara’s life, with the exception of Ayesac, no one else had. Especially in that bad of shape. She looked back at Raina, then hopped in the back of one of the tanks as they left.
Pix shook her head. That shiny streak boy really did like to change his mind a lot. She stood still with her arms crossed watching him fly around in that circle as all the crazyness around her just continued. Finally he returned “About time.” She mumbled. Not that she would follow him for his own good.
Pix let her bugs circle the camp, letting her control of them disappear when they were too far away. They’d follow their instincts now, and the pheromones on already stung guards. Pix entered the vehicle.

(OCC: slight god modding of Hades with permission) Matthew was awoken by the booming noise, suspecting something he at once tested out his powers, when the usual complimentary electrical shock did not come he rejoiced!
*Yes, now we are getting somewhere.*
As he ran towards the exit to his quarters connected to the gym room he saw a guard rounding the corner and start to bring up his rifle, *Oh no you don’t * thought Matthew sensing the humid air that usually either heralded rain or accompanied it. He raised both his hands as if to surrender and just as he snapped his wrists forward small slivers of ice with razor sharp edges formed on each finger. The result was a cry of pain and a clatter of a gun hitting the floor. Not stopping Matthew’s face seemed to screw up in deep concentration and the instant he barrelled the wounded guard, a thick baton of ice formed in his hand. The impact struck the guard on the forehead and knocked him out cold.
Matthew reached the door to the world outside. “What in the world?” he muttered as his eyes scanned in the area, taking in the massive hole in the wall, the massive Battle TANK? The carnage, and then finally coming to rest on the APC’s and mutants boarding them. “Guess that is my ticket out of here.”
Jogging towards the APC he suddenly bumped into something solid, something hard, something invisible. “Stalker..” was all he managed to get out before something stepped on his foot, to say something stood through his foot would be a better description. The stalker uncloaked and jumped back a few steps its plasms cannons already turning to aim at Matthew.
A blur appeared suddenly, coming from the direction of the APC’s it vasaulted over two incoming mutants, did a break rool and slid infront of Matthew just before the Plasma blasts hit. The figure seemed to be crouched behind some sort of shield, it was Dragon King. The blasts were knocking him progressively backwards. He looked as if he was tiring. “I cant hold forever” DK shouted to Matthew, “Get yourself out of here.”
In response Matthew startd to crawl towards the APC’s.
It started to rain.
A few guards, felt braver seing a stalker charged towards the APC’s, Matthew and Dragon King, it was a big mistake. Using the last of his failing strength, Matthew spun himself in a circle, using the water in the surrounding air to create ice daggers which he immediately launched, the result looked like an expanding cloud of daggers. None of the guards died though, only their kneecaps were pierced, they eyes punctured, etc.
For the stalker’s part it got tired of firing at an object that did not seem to take any damage, it brandished its claws and crouched preparing to leap. In response Dragon King got shakily to his feet, two Adamantium beta blades slid out from his left and right wrists, he got into a crouch and yepped a war cry back at the stalker. Stalker leapt. Dragon King knew he did not have the strength to win this battle, so he knelet down and slapped his hands together mentally directing the blades to form into one long thicker blade. There was a horrible sound and an explosion of dirt and the stalker landed on Dragon King.
When the dust cleared, Matthew saw to his relief that the Stalker had managed to impale it’s self on DK’s Blade.
Then they both headed back to the APC’s, one limping, the other stumbling from sheer exhaustion.

(OOC: This may change slightly, depending on how Revenge ends, but nothing major.)
A raggedy quartet joined those making their way toward the transports. The copper-headed duo on one side resembled a 'Before and After' picture for a TV makeover show. And as they drew closer, it became quickly obvious that one of them had just about reached her limit. Still, Amp silently refused to budge until Grit was loaded in and taken care of, something that Vibe found very unusual. But she, too, remained silent.
Once inside the crowded vehicle themselves, the Twins settled into a corner. Amp leaned against the wall, staring straight ahead, all of the fire drained from her near-neon eyes. Vibe leaned next to her.
Neither of them spoke, either aloud or otherwise, until they felt the vehicle start up, and begin moving out. Then, Vibe reached over and laced her fingers together with her sister's, and gave them a soft squeeze. A tear slowly trickled down from the corner of Amp's dulled eyes, followed by another, another, and another. Vibe reached her free arm around her sister's shoulders, and pulled Amp's head into her chest. Amp curled up, and silently wept. Vibe held her tight, and rocked back and and forth. She began humming a soft tune that, while meant to comfort Amp, vibrated through the entire vehicle, and projected a sense of peace and tranquility to everyone else in the transport.
Maya tottered stiff and zombie-like out from a small hole in the debris where a service-entrance door used to be. It took her brain quite a while to make sense of the scene before her. This was obviously where the real action had been. She was surprised to see robots... or rather robot parts scattered around. She obviously had a lot to learn about the mutant community.
Then she spotted it - a gaping hole in the fence. The surge of hope she felt brought new life to her limbs and she was sprinting there before she could stop herself. People seemed to be heading there two by two like it was the Mutant Ark or something. Well, this was one mutant who was on her own. The light rain that had started made her already unsteady footing impossible. Her limbs were stiff and it was hard to focus her vision, but she had her goal in sight and it was all she could see.
Fence. Hole. Freedom. Keep moving. Don't stop.
She fell down a lot. Her inadvertantly low profile kept her out of a lot of stray bullets' way, but it also meant that by the time she reached the fence her camp-issued clothings was covered in moist earth and worse. She tried not to dwell on it. In fact she tried not to dwell on anything as she clambered awkwardly into one of the crowded vehicles after two copper-haired girls. Maya was rather an expert on internalizing.
She found a seat, not really seeing anyone or anything. She looked around, but couldn't focus-- there was too much somber pain in the vehicle. She didn't have t be an empath to know that much. The truck headed out. They weren't a particularly talkative bunch so when someone started sobbing, Maya curled in on herself blocking most everything out. She pulled her knees up to her chest and folded very compactly. She had known being around people again would be strange, but this was almost worse than being alone. The soft humming that ensued might have been the only thing that kept her from sobbing herself.
Following the initial attack on the Stalkers Nox had becoming dangerously close to her limits, which was why, rather than indulging in amateur dramatics, she had made a rather direct route to the designated exit. This is isn’t of course to say that she didn’t help others, she did, it was simply a matter of recognising that trying to concentrate energy again could push her over the edge. This meant, not being the suicidal sort, that Nox did not go looking to find new Stalkers. Proceeding with caution and trying to keep her rising headache at bay, Nox accompanied the general flow of escapees and exited the camps without much incident. Without much did, however, include disabling one irritating guard who had made the unfortunate assumption that the, admittedly somewhat weary and blood stained, female would be easily overcome. His preconception was quickly dispelled. He fell quickly to the ground on account of the blade that protruded from his windpipe; owing to the fact that there was Nox’s wrist was still in suitable condition. Though the sudden movement did trigger a flash of pain from the looming headache, which was her punishment for having earlier used too much energy too fast. Emerging from the chaos of the camps and making her way other to a vehicle, Nox, like the almost everyone looked a mess; incrusted blood seemed to be a trend everyone was following. Regardless of their state, however, they had succeeded.
