The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

I’m feeling nervous Trying to be so perfect (Skye)
Allyssa listened as Skye described her uncle, saying he was a badass. ”Squeamish?” Allyssa questioned, looking at Skye as the brunette finished speaking. ”I didn’t think MMA was that gruesome. I mean they show it on TV, right?”
Turning, Allyssa saw that her ball had already come back, so she bent down to pick it up, turning back to the aisle. Rolling the ball down, Allyssa smiled when she saw that three more pins fell. Not too bad. Not great, but not bad.
Smiling as she looked back over at Skye, Allyssa took a couple steps closer once again. ”If it’s not that gross, especially if if you like it that much,” Allyssa said, coming to a stop in front of Skye. Then she leaned in to give her a quick kiss. ”I’d love to see it. Then maybe I’ll beat you at Outlands.”
"Not usually, no," Skye said with a shrug. "But I have Uncle Blaine's last fight on tape," she said, looking at the other woman. "I've seen it a million times and still get kinda woozy looking at it," she said with a shrug. "But the others are also really good. He only lost like, two fights in his entire semi-professional career."
And then the other woman knocked down three pins. Okay. This was looking to be a decent game. The kiss, she enjoyed, even if it was quick. "Heh...maybe. Though you're more useful to me in co-op mode," she said with a wink before grabbing her own ball and making her way to the lane. She took her stance and let the ball loose, and let out an excited squeal when the ball knocked down all ten pins. Strike!
She turned back to her date, looking rather confident, a smirk playing across her lips.
Skye had seen this gruesome fight of her uncle’s a million times, and it still made her feel woozy when she saw it? Allyssa shook her head slightly. Yeah, if it was that bad, she really didn’t want to see that fight. It’s not like she was really that interested in it, anyway. But she said that the other fights of her uncle’s were really good. ”He must have been good if he only lost two fights,” Allyssa said.
Then Allyssa raised an eyebrow at Skye as she walked over to get her ball. ”Oh, I’m more useful in co-op mode, am I?” she questioned. That may be true, but Allyssa wasn’t so sure that Skye was talking about the game anymore. Though, that kind of cooperation would be quite enjoyable, too.
With an excited squeal from Skye, Allyssa saw that the other woman for a strike. Well damn… Though Skye did look rather cute like that.
Only for her to turn back to Allyssa with a confident smirk. ”Don't think one lucky shot is going to win the game,” Alyssa said as she stepped past Skye to get her ball.
"Yeah, he was. Though the more I think about it...well, he is a guy who can't feel, in a competitive sport that centers on beating the sh** out of each other," she said with a laugh. "But even still, they need a mutant division. That would be amazing to watch," she mused.
"Well, yeah. We're far more dangerous in game if we team on the same side. I draw in all the enemy fire while you pick em off from a distance." Though, Skye had to wonder if Allyssa had still been talking about the game. Oh well, maybe they could play after they got done bowling.
"One lucky shot doesn't win games, but it sure as hell helps," she teased lightly.
