Lee nodded when Skye said that she understood. Though she hadn’t been through all that much, Skye was smart and picked things up quickly. ”Thanks, but just make sure you stay safe,” Lee told Skye.

Making sure she had all her stuff, Lee was about to get up when she saw Skye’s hair change to purple. ”Don’t worry, Skye,” Lee said with a small smile. ”We’ll figure it out. Everything will be fine.”

And, though Lee was worried about what the man might be up to, she did know that she would figure it out. She had experience with crazy stuff like this, and Blaine to help her. Plus, with Devon and Haven, they had resources the likes of which she hadn’t had since her days with Slate in the Kabal. ”I promise, it’ll all work out.”

"I will, Aunt Lee," she promised as she straightened up. She nodded when she was told everything would be fine. She knew it would be, but that slight nervousness was still there.

"I know it will. Just be careful, okay? You do have someone else to worry about, after all," she said with a smile. "I know my little cousin's in good hands though," she added, sighing lightly as she got up and went back to her station by the door. Luckily it had slowed down, but she didn't want to get in trouble for not doing her job.
