The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

His mind was racing as he walked behind her, and a part of him, being paranoid, wondered if the rest of the bar knew what was going. They more than likely didn't....but they probably did.
He followed her back to the office, noting that not many people seemed to even naturally get in the way. It didn't take long to get to the office, and it took an even shorter amount of time before he realized they were thinking the same thing. That took him about as long to figure out as the lock on the door took to click.
He looked in her eyes as his own breath sharpened, and he stepped forward, pulling her close and leaning down to kiss her passionately.
The lock clicked and Lee turned to face Blaine. He obviously knew what she was thinking, Lee could tell by the look in his eyes the moment before he stepped forward, and her breath caught in her throat. The moment that Blaine’s arms wrapped around her, Lee’s own arms lifted, wrapping around his neck, one hand closing in his hair to hold his head to hers as she returned the kiss.
This was not what she had planned, not at all. Well, not until much later in the night, anyway, not till they had gotten back to Blaine’s apartment. But the looks that he’d been giving her...Lee honestly didn’t think that she could wait that long, and with the door to the office locked, she wasn’t planning to.
Barely able to catch her breath, but not wanting to break the kiss for even a moment, Lee took a couple of steps backward, her hands pulling Blaine with her until she felt her back hit the door. Or maybe it was the wall. Not that it really mattered. Only then did she finally break the kiss, opening her eyes as she did. ”I never expected this kind of reaction,” she breathed, still close enough that her lips were brushing against Blaine’s.
As usual, he kept his eyes opened as they kissed, his heart racing. Everything was dead quiet in the office except for the sounds of them breathing, and before he knew it her back was against the wall. His breath caught in his throat as she pulled back, their lips still almost touching they were so close.
"I guess we're both full of unexpected today," he breathed, diving right back into the kiss. He closed his eyes, focusing only on the sounds in the room, taking in this new scenario. Though he was beginning to see that there may have been more to Lee than he realized. She was turning out to have quite the....mischievous....side to her.
They were both full of unexpected. That was definitely one way to put it. But before Lee could say anything in response, Blaine had leaned down to kiss her again. Though he was starting to do things like that, start passionate kisses like this, more often, it still wasn’t that often, and it made Lee’s heart race as she moaned softly against Blaine’s lips.
As they were kissing, Lee let her hand in Blaine’s hair open, trailing her hands down his back as she started to pull his shirt up. Not that he needed his shirt off, but it did give a nice visual when they weren’t kissing.
Blaine may have forgotten he was even at work as they kissed, and he pulled back just so she could pull his shirt over his head, which he definitely allowed. Speaking allowed...he was pretty sure what they were doing wouldn't be, but it definitely helped when you were dating one of the bosses. And he had to say he kind of liked the prospective....political advantage that this brought with it.
But that wasn't what was on Blaine's mind now as he dove back into the kiss, his hands moving to her waist, lifting her off of her feet.
Lee smiled when Blaine pulled back from the kiss so she could pull his shirt off. She didn’t think that there was anything she had done that would have told Blaine what exactly she was doing, but somehow he knew she was wanting his shirt off.
The moment that the shirt cleared his head, though, Blaine had leaned back down to kiss her again. Dropping Blaine’s shirt on the floor beside them, Lee was about to wrap her arms around his neck again when she felt Blaine’s hands on her waist, lifting her. Lee gasped slightly, the sound changing into a moan against Blaine’s lips as she felt his body pressing hers against the wall.
Letting both arms drop to her sides for a moment, Lee pulled her skirt up a bit; though cute, pencil skirts were definitely not made for this. Then Lee lifted her arms, hands clutching herself to Blaine as her legs wrapped around his waist.
There were a lot of things that Blaine had adapted to just know, be it instinct, using his other senses, or some combination of the two. And since he'd started dating Lee, that list of things had been gradually growing longer. Certainly his ability to pick up on other cues had lent a hand in helping their relationship progress this far, this quickly.
He smirked at her reactions, breaking the kiss so he could lean back just enough to see what was going on, since he had no other way to tell. After a moment, he leaned back in to kiss her, passionately.

Blaine found himself slouched in the chair behind the desk, breath heavy as he could still hear his heart beating inside of his chest. He wore a satisfied smirk, but nothing else. He had to admit, he liked this more mischievous side of Lee that he was beginning to discover. The bouncer was silent, looking over at her with a contented smile.
Part of him wondered if it was even worth going back out to the bar.
Lee simply lay on the desk, her eyes closed and breathing heavy, for a couple of minutes. If exactly how Blaine had reacted to her wearing the corset had been unexpected, that was nothing compared to how things had gone since the office door had closed. Apparently now that they had figured certain things out, they had definitely been figured out.
Pushing herself up to a sitting position finally, hearing more papers fall to the floor as she did, Lee looked over at Blaine. He looked just as satisfied as she felt at the moment. ”If this is going to happen every time I wear a corset,” Lee said, still trying to catch her breath. ”I’m going to have to wear them a lot more often. But we won’t be going out anywhere.”
He chuckled to himself, relaxing in the office chair as he looked at her. "Yeah...otherwise we'd never get anything done..." he murmured softly with another smile.
He had to admit, he never thought he'd see the day he was in a relationship, much less one like what he had with Lee. It seemed as though they were made for each other. Though....he had a thought. He was still on the clock, and they were locked in her office.
Lee laughed a bit at Blaine's comment. It was true, if he looked at her like he had been tonight, they never would get any work done.
But speaking of work, Lee glanced at the floor to see the papers that were now scattered there. Yeah, work… Sliding off the desk, Lee straightened her skirt (unlike Blaine, she had remained clothed) before crouching down to pick up the papers that had been scattered. She could sort them later, but they needed to get off the floor.
”Speaking of getting anything done,” Lee said, looking across the desk at Blaine, her eyes wandering more than a bit. ”You should probably get dressed. Someone's bound to come looking for us at some point.”
Blaine chuckled, then blushed lightly after she'd finished speaking. Hey, it wasn't his fault he wasn't dressed...Standing up after a moment, he managed to locate his clothes, put them on, and then began to straighten his hair. "Yeah...I'm pretty sure someone's noticed we've been gone awhile," he said with a shrug, though his tone and body language said he didn't really care. But after that...who would?
Watching as she picked up the papers, he knelt to help before setting what he'd picked up back on the desk, then wrapped his arms around her and kissed her again. "I better get back. See you after work~" he said with a smile as he turned and walked out of the office, shutting the door behind him.
As he found his usual spot against the wall, the night seemed to be going better. It wasn't as...boring. His eyes scanned the bar, but it was still a rather quiet night.
Though Lee was trying to clean up the papers that had been scattered, her eyes kept drifting over to Blaine as he moved around the office getting dressed once again. A happy little satisfied smile on her face as she watched him.
Once he was dressed, Blaine knelt down beside her to help pick up some of the papers. ”Thanks, hon,” she murmured as they got the last of it. At least that Lee could see. In Lee’s experience with situations like this (at least as close to this as she had), things did have a tendency of flying far and wide.
Then Blaine was hugging and kissing her again. Lee’s smile widened even as part of her brain wondered if this was a good idea. But that slight worry wasn’t enough for Lee to stop him, and she returned Blaine’s hug and kiss. Followed by him saying he should get back to work. And though Lee would have liked nothing more than to be locked in a room with Blaine for the rest of the night, he was right, they were supposed to be working. And people would notice if at least one of them didn’t head back out front soon.
So Lee nodded, then watched as Blaine left the room, closing the door behind him. The smile still on her face, Lee went to sit at the desk to start sorting through the disaster they had made. It was slow going, though, since Lee’s mind kept drifting back, and she found herself just sitting there with a smile on her face.
After about an hour, Lee’s face became blank as she realized something; though she had done a good job making sure that there had been protection every other time that they had even attempted anything, tonight had been so far from expected…
Lee took a deep breath, trying to calm her now racing heart. That was something she couldn’t change now, so Lee tried to push it to the back of her mind; at least that way she could worry about it later.
Finally, the night reached closing time, and Lee quickly made her way out front to grab the tills, not even thinking about tossing her shawl around her shoulders again.
"Welcome, babe," he'd murmured back before he returned to his shift.
The rest of the night went a lot better for Blaine. He'd managed to bust up a few fights, throw out a drunk, and still make jokes with the regulars as the night went on. He still couldn't believe what had happened, but he wasn't exactly complaining. Besides, it wasn't like they were going to get caught or anything, right?
When it came time to close, he saw Lee emerge from the back finally. And she'd forgotten the shawl. He looked at her with a mysterious gleam in his eye, smirking.
Lee had grabbed one of the tills, and was making her way down the bar when she caught Blaine’s eye. Her step faltered and her breath caught in her throat as she saw the look in his eye.
Lee simply stood there for a few moments looking across the bar at Blaine before she remembered what it was she was supposed to be doing. Biting her bottom lip and averting her eyes, Lee finally kept moving. Once she had everything gathered, Lee turned to look over at Blaine again. And felt a slight blush cover her cheeks seeing the look he was giving her. ”Two minutes,” she told him. ”Just give me a couple minutes and I’ll be ready.”
Then Lee quickly disappeared into the back again, returning a couple minutes later, her coat already on. ”I’m ready if you are,” Lee said as she made her way over to Blaine.
Blaine helped straighten up a bit, as was his routine, before going back to the back and getting his jacket, putting it on and zipping it up. By the time Lee came back out, he'd been propped up, waiting for her.
He smiled wider as she approached him again. "Oh, I'm ready," he replied, then paused, thinking a moment. "****, we can't exactly follow this plan at my place tonight. Skye's already home," he said as he brushed his hair to the side, still looking at Lee.
"Unless we can use your place?" he suggested, shrugging lightly.
