The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Aiden tilted his head at Iggy, the black hair falling in his eyes only added to his vague confusion. Should he be concerned about what was going through Iggy's head? There was clearly something growing in there, and it was probably going to be something dramatic and immature, even if Aiden had made a point of pre-refusing any safety protocol removal or dangerous simulations.
Or it could just be... yeah. Uh. Aiden straightened a bit and blinked. Slowly. "You've seen the gist of what I can do at least three times already. Most of my mutation isn't directly controlled. It's like a heartbeat. At most I can control things that influence it." And he really wasn't planning on working on his snowflake form today. He'd done a lot with it the day before; this was supposed to be his day off from that training. Because even if his body healed without issue and he largely didn't need to physically recover between sessions, his head was a whole different matter. "I'm really neither special nor showy. If you want to see snow, the Danger Room can do that." It wouldn't be hard to do. A quick voice command and...
Clouds drifted over the sky, not obscuring the sun entirely but throwing odd half-shadows across the expanse of ice, and then snow began to fall. And stick to Aiden, but at this point he really didn't notice. At least he didn't have to run around in front of this guy.
Aw, so Aiden didn't want to show off did he? That was okay with Iggy...no, it wasn't. He wanted to see Aiden do something cool with snow. Something else cool with snow. Was that too much to ask? Iggy didn't think so. The Colombian mutant moved his hands from his waist and folded them over his chest.
"Esta bien. Well, what else can we do in here?" Ignacio asked, looking around the winter wonderland.

Aiden rolled his shoulders as the last bit of colour, a patch between two of his fingers, caught a snowflake and faded into snow-white, leaving him entirely white in the snowy air and icy ground. There was a subtle feel to it, to his healing powers easing into passive action, though it had taken years of work before he'd begun to even notice it. He really didn't feel like proving its activity to Iggy, though. How would he even go about intentionally hurting himself?
Why would he intentionally hurt himself, for that matter? It might fade away quickly now, but even a brief black-out afterward usually stressed out people who hadn't seen it before. Maybe he should try to program the room to notify people panicking over him being unconscious that it wasn't a problem and to just wait. Except that would only be useful on weird rare occasions where he was in here with new people. Like now. Hm.
"You can do pretty much whatever you want," he told Iggy. He tried to be patient, and it was easier when he wasn't overheating. Besides, it was quiet here, just two people on a snowy-sunny glacier. In this miniature world, they were the only ones who existed, come to think of it.
Whatever he wanted? Ignacio didn't know what to do with that. He thought about it for a few minutes before reaching down and scooping up some snow. Before it could fully melt in his hand, Iggy threw the snowball at Aiden before giggling and running off. What? Aiden said, "whatever he wanted".

Snowball at his face.
Really.
Aiden swayed around it, throwing up even more snow with the movement of both his upper body and then his feet through the accumulating snow, soft and almost crunching under his bare feet. At this point, dodging was as much a habit as moving gracefully, but ranged counterattacks really weren't his thing. That was fine, though, it would just encourage Iggy.
Although... as excuses to stay in the Danger Room, in cold air, went... He'd just have to limit his exertion so he didn't black out when they did stop. He should warn Iggy about that. But for now he could try to make a snowball (harder than usual for two reasons: his hands didn't melt snow, so he couldn't smooth the surface like everyone else, and they tended to fall apart; and the snow gradually fused with his skin) and try to throw it.
It might have been on track, but it fell apart mid-air.
Ignacio turned around to see Aiden's sorry excuse for a snowball. "Come on, Aiden! This is your element!" Iggy raised his hands to the "Sun" and channeled a bit of energy. Lowering his hands back down, he opened one of them and summoned up a ball of multicolored light. Ignacio then hurled it at Aiden. The light wouldn't do anything to Aiden, but it sure did look intimidating when it grew twice its size with every foot.

"You try making a snowball when you can't melt snow," he muttered. Iggy seemed to be enjoying himself, though, so Aiden stooped to pick up some more snow. He hadn't gone far when a flicker of movement, then of colour caught his attention.
Ah. Hence the element comment. Aiden didn't have much time to muse much, though, and threw himself to the side to avoid the rapidly growing sphere. It was very much a controlled throw, fluid and easily continued into a roll and pivot that brought even more fresh snow to the air around him. He launched a second snowball as he came to his feet, channeling his momentum into the lump of snow...
which at least made it closer before crumbling into a burst of tangled flakes. He'd have to get closer himself, which would give him less time to dodge but ought to give the light balls less time to grow as well. Aiden burst forward, bare feet sure in the snow as long as he kept his weight low, and ran with (some) of the uninhibited freedom of constant healing.
Ignacio stuck out his tongue and was about to say something when he saw Aiden charge toward him. "Ha!" Iggy turned around and started running the opposite direction giggly happily. "Aiden!" He exclaimed with a smile.

Extra confirmation: Iggy was weird.
And also running now, which wasn't good if Aiden wanted to keep the majority of his snow around him. That was a general requirement of his, and so it was without explicit intention that Aiden widened his course, looping around to try to herd Iggy back toward the thickest snowfall. It really didn't take long for Aiden to pull out of his generated blizzard, but the ambient snowfall was enough to maintain his form and sustain his sprint.
Hm. Depending on Iggy's visual acuity, Aiden might be hard to discern, just white on white on white. He might have an easier time controlling Iggy's direction if he used more than just his own body...
Aiden's next snowball crumbled quickly, small and barely patted together at all, but the one right after it flew with the weight of added moisture.
Yeah, yeah, he'd thrown a handful of snow in his mouth. Push had come to shove, okay?
Ignacio looked around him at the snow that was pushing into around the Danger Room. The teenager found this very fun especially since Aiden seemed like the type of person not to indulge Iggy in his reindeer games.
He looked around quickly at the white that was surrounding him. Iggy didn't know what to do so when he got a mouthful of snow, he gave a surprised sputter and yawk. "Good one, Aiden!" The teenage Sun god started running again. "I love that you can turn into a blizzard!"

He wasn't trying to hit Iggy, much less in the face! Not that he seemed to be upset by it. At all. Seriously. This guy was weird.
And apparently not listening. "I'm not a blizzard!" He wasn't even making most of this one. Especially since he'd gone and stopped running to shout at the weirdo. Iggy should be thanking the Danger Room.
Ignacio laughed at Aiden. He was so funny. The seventeen-year-old and went back to running. He liked this "game" that he was playing with Aiden. "I bet your code name is Snow Miser." He stuck out his tongue out from over his shoulder and continued laughing.
The teenaage Sun god made a point to start singing he Snow Miser theme song to tease him further. Ignacio hadn't had this much fun since, well, that morning playfully volleyball.

This was just frustrating. People were generally kind of weird, the ones who liked being around other people and talking and being social, but Iggy was on a whole other level. He didn't seem to notice that he was being slowly shepherded closer to the denser snow, though. If only because he was too busy making jokes.
"I don't have a code name. Nothing's stuck." Like snow in summertime, if he didn't work extra hard to cool things off first. Which took a lot of work when it was really hot. Also he was still pretty glad that 'Snowflake' hadn't managed to replace his name. It was too... sparkly.
He was so not sparkly. Except when he technically physically was. Like right now. Because snow.
After a couple of minutes of running around, Ignacio turned to look at Aiden.
"I have a code name in mind for myself," Iggy turned to look at him with a bright smile, "do you want to know it? I know you do!" the teen laughed and wiggled his eyebrows at Aiden. He the cupped his hands together and formed a ball of solar flares and threw it at Aiden. Heads up!"
"What, is it something like Solar Flare? Keep it to one word or people will probably end up abbreviating it." Be awkward if he just picked something without recognizing the other associations too. Iggy's light might look like the northern lights, but Aurora probably wasn't a good name for him. Unless he wanted media to think he was a girl. And somehow associated with cold or arctic places. He was handling snow well, but in the way a bonfire didn't care about temperature.
Aiden easily evaded the light ball and followed up with a fistful of snow packed as hard as he could. "You're going to tell me whether or not I want to know, aren't you."
