The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Mutants are the new dominant species on the planet. As a “main focus” The Exiles seek the betterment of mutant kind. The end all goal is to see them as the rightful rulers of the world. In this the concept of “the ends justify the means” holds very true. The Exiles empower their members to carry out personal aspirations and goals that will improve the livelihood for mutants. Be this a government takeover, or building Sanctuary like shelters in other cities, or even establishing a neighborhood watch in a mutant community. As a faction the individual member don’t need to agree with each others methods. Simply to understand that we are all working towards the same goal. To help each other, and to elevate Mutant kind to its rightful place.
“The future is in our hands, what are you going to do about it?”
- A few ideas for starter missions
-Setting up patrols in mutant communities to protect from broken METAs or mutant haters (aka Bird Hunters).
-“acquiring” cure and M-drug research. -supporting (or removing the opposition of) mutant politicians -start protests against the use of METAs
- How are the Exiles unique from other currently active Factions?
X-men: We aren’t lame… Yes I said it... Exile members are not bound by moral codes and etiquette. Neither do they have to worry about “tarnishing” the factions reputation when a situation required bending rules. Members are free to take whatever action they feel is necessary, regardless of the consequences.
Ragnarok: Mindless killing and destruction are pointless. While drastic measures are needed at times, they are not to be taken lightly. Why force the creation of a “cure” when all a troubled mutant needs is control? Dividing the mutant population only causes us to fall backwards in our struggle against oppression.
Glad to see another faction started! Good to keep the ebb and flow of such groups!
SANCTUARY
I'm wondering if you have intentions to have the Exiles take/claim Sanctuary. I know you mentioned starting Sanctuary-like shelters in other communities but I'm hoping to keep it neutral in faction affairs now.
CHARACTER BASE
While I have ideas for Tempest long term as far as goals and maybe even faction, I am trying to let that develop naturally. Having his investment in Sanctuary continue is part of that, especially for his career and mutant concern.
NEUTRAL GROUND FOR NEUTRAL FOLKS
However, I also like having Sanctuary exist for neutral meeting grounds should various factions want to meet, non-affiliated people who need a place to live, etc. I completely understand former Order members might come in, visit, etc. as I do also like the idea that it can be a stable home for anyone (including the baddies), provided of course they aren't causing trouble for Sanctuary itself.
I'm hoping we can talk out any intentions and plot possibilities around such in an organic way!

I am one hundred percent on board with this. Ambrose, not so much, but it'd be great to have some faction vs faction stuff happening between Rag and the Exiles (see: assassination attempt, as mentioned in the cbox). Also, Kirsi might just be up for this if the Exiles can outpay Rag. Her loyalty usually lies with whomever's got the biggest bank account, but if the Exiles can offer money (and something more, in terms of ideals), she'll be on board.
Also, question - when exactly in the Utopia plot would the Exiles be implemented in full? I think it'd be pretty cool to see them rise up as a response to Utopia, and also to see how exactly the faction handles that new situation.
Exiles will mostly build with the hype of/for Utopia. Seyta and Aura are and will be strongly against the "mutant state" however other members are free to choose yea-or-nay on the subject. With the full rise of Utopia, the Exiles can go many different ways. All depending on what Jaager does with his little antarctic paradise.
The potential to be both good-cop and bad-cop can be a real thorn in both Rag and X-Men sides.
I approve of this faction. I don't think I'll have any characters who will join it, but I think I can drum up a few who will directly oppose you. And that's more fun, anyways, right?
