The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Now see... I can use my powers to find guys who are open to my hitting on them, or encouragment, as opposed to wasteing my time on guys who aren't interested.... That's how I found Steven."
I found Siren by complete accident, it was a -please ignore the cliche- dark and stormy night. *Del confides in Katie.* And I have no idea who his on who first but I think we were pretty much instantly attracted to eachother.
*Del shruggs,* It definatly had passion, but how about Steven? Being telepathic must have it's advantages. You've admitted your no blushing virgin. *Del points out.*
"Well... I always know what he wants in bed, and having it- in that pure a form, means I'm usually more than willing to oblige... Espically considering his power..." She giggles, and blushes. Harmony giggles too, although she doesn't really know what's being said.
Katie looks over, eyebrow raised. "Oh- you didn't know?" She blushs again, laughing. "Well- he can change his size. Get as small as three inches in height to as big as a five story building."
Oh well that is impressive . . . and let me tell you, every girl hates you just a little bit. *Del says smiling, not that she has anything to complain about, but that would be intresting to say the least.*
Not going to deny that. *Del says making an effort to clean up her thoughts although between her thoughts and Katies emotions probably not doing a very good job of it. She is working on it when they finally reach the cabin.*
Katie is eyeing the babies, who are all starting to nestle and settle down. "You know... it really is facinating reading their minds- Oh I hope you don't mind, but it's just so- so.... I can't describe it, they're utterly pure, y'know?"
Their emotions are similar, so I know what you mean. For me though it is a problem. *Del tries to explain.* I mean adult's emotions are complex. There is usually more than one and I am able to use the one that best serves the real me but with these guys it is one pure emotion, completely over whelming, I can almost lose track of me. *Del says momentaraly recalling their births and the opressive emotions going on at that time, as they walk into the cabin.*
Are you kidding, I spent about three straight months sleeping, I had no idea how many there were. I was kinda shocked there was one, took me a while to get to two. And as infants Harmony and Aria were almost impossible to distinguish between, they are starting to develop personalities now but before, I just can't be sure they never got mixed up. *Del jokes heading into her room and pausing, something is bugging her about the room.*
