The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

*It is late afternoon when the X-Jet lands and lets Del and Siren off before it continues onto Canada. Del and Siren thank red team for the ride and head to the local 'rent a car place'. When they get there Del, suggests.* How about you rent the car and I'll call my mother and tell her we are on our way.
"Hai hai..." He says, taking the three-stroller with him so that she won't have to worry about it on the phone. He heads up to the counter to rent a car with enough space for all of them.
*Del goes off to find a hard line because this far north cell towers were too far from her grandmas home for anyone to get a signal. She got through to her mother and told her they would be up in a few hours and to expect them for a late dinner. Her mother promised to hold dinner and wait up for them. Del makes her way back to Siren and tell him of her conversation with her mother.* So did you find us a car?
Well I guess that oficially makes us mini-van types, just no soccer for the kids ever. I don't want to be a soccer mom.*Delphi says pleaingly but in good nature.*
Ok so I wrote down the directions from my mother and I got a map but hopefully we won't get lost. *Delphi said hopefully kidding around a little with Siren.* It should take us about two hours from here and the roads should be relativly empty.
"I'm not worried." Siren points out, as they finally load themselfs in, the kids all babeling happily as of now in the back of the car. "If we start to go wrong, your precog should tell us."
He pulls out of the rental place, and they head out into the back roads. The kids are, for the most part, cooperative. If they start to get fussy, then a little bet if calming from Delphi, who is not driving helps immensely.
Oh there it is! *Delphi says spotting the drive way to her Grandmother's place.* So the next drive way is the one we should take. *She says pointing to the next drive way.*
I think hellos are first then we can unload. The kids are hungry and are going to be fussy fast. *Delphi warns Siren as she grabs up Apollo and the changing bag. She then heads up to the door and pauses before pressing the bell, till Siren gets there. She still doesn't press it even after he gets there.*
Kinda, all they older cousins are in there waiting, I'm more than nervous. How about I'll sleep in the car you have fun? *Delphi asks hopefully, but doubting Siren will let her.*
Promise? *Delphi asks a little bit of desperation seeping into her voice. She then tenses up a little as the door opens.*
Delphi's mother opens the door and right there at the kitchen table/dinning room is everyone twenty and older. "Hey honey, and look at the babies!" Delphi's mom said. At the same time as everyone else says a variety of things from "Hey!" to a few wistles from some of the older mail cousins.
