The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Actually I don't think she even owns a blender,Ty whispered to Regan when Tses mentioned never having used a blender before. "Trust me, Tses. Cleaning up the mess after would not have been fun," he said lightly, noticing her facial expressions change. And then she changed gears--and subjects--several times. It made the man chuckle at how childish he was, though her little reference to noodles didn't go unnoticed by her ex-boyfriend.
"That's right!" Ty replied happily. "You did used to love noodles. "I remember the first time I cooked for you...you were surprised your stove even worked," he said with a dreamy smile, eyes getting all soft and watery as he threatened to cry. His emotions were tied in knots right now as he watched his amnesia-ridden ex.
Sure, she wasn't exactly Little Miss Sunshine, but she didn't deserve what she'd gone through. Between him and amnesia, the poor girl just couldn't catch a break. But it couldn't be fixed. He just had to help her through, and then go from there.
"Here, let me help," Ty offered, picking her up off of the counter and setting her on the floor. His own memories flooded his head, good, bad, and otherwise. It sort of made him feel like he'd used his powers on himself. His head was even starting to hurt...
Regan gave Ty a small chuckle as he commented about Tses's lack of blender ownership. She just smiled and helped Tses get the cake mix open and into the bowl. At this point Tses had climbed up onto the counter and was staring into the bowl and talking about noodles. Ty jumped in and looked content that she had remembered something as well as the memories that were clearly flooding his mind.
Regan remained silent as Tses inspected the box and figured out that they needed to have eggs in the mix. She was trying to get off of the counter and Regan was about to help her when Ty came over and helped Tses down. Regan moved out of the way and gave them a soft smile before taking the box in her clawed hand and reading over the instructions. “We need two eggs Tses.” She said somewhat solemnly to the pair. She was feeling kind of useless now. Ty was here and just in the little while he had been there, Tses had remembered something. Being with Ty was what she needed, but part of her wished that she was able to help more than by just making some cupcakes.
Tses watched the two figures in the kitchen with her with mild curiosity. She liked Regan. She was helpful and friendly, and her hair was a cool color, which was always a plus. But this other person... she wasn't really sure about him yet. He seemed to be happy one second, then get all sad the next. It was like every time she said something he was going to cry. He seemed....broken. Maybe that was it. Maybe he was just broken. Kinda like her. She was broken too. Maybe that's why Regan wanted them to hang out together. Maybe there was a way to fix their brokenness. She didn't understand what was wrong, but she just knew when she looked at him, there was something sad. It lurked in the back of her mind, somewhere where noodles and stoves and not knowing how to cook made more sense. Somewhere where she knew she couldn't read, but somehow knew lots of words anyway.
As Ty picked her off the counter and set her on the floor, she grinned at him and scampered over to the fridge. Regan said something about two eggs, so she started rummaging around looking for somewhere they would be. She didn't usually keep eggs in her house, since she didn't cook, but she managed to find the container and the ingredients that matched the picture. Grabbing two of them, she carefully tried to hold them with her good hand, then moved ever so slowly back to the counter. Setting them down she looked to Regan expectantly, then back at Ty.
"Now what? Can we put frosting on it yet? Or sprinkles. It needs sprinkles!" She started to move to find some, then paused, and turned back to them. "Don't know where the sprinkles would be...."

Ty grinned back at her, once again at the top of a hill on this roller coaster of an adventure that this little ordeal was sending him on. One minute he was amused and happy, but the next he was overwhelmed by sadness and memories. It was all so confusing.
"No, no, the sprinkles and the frosting come after we bake them," Ty explained. "But before that, we have to mix it together." He looked at Regan, then too the eggs, gently picking them up. "Reg, you wanna crack the eggs? I have a tendency of getting shell in them sometimes..." He smiled sheepishly.

Regan watched the pair out of the corner of her emerald eyes with a small smile. The two actually fit quite well together, at least like this they did. She moved over slightly as Tses brought over the eggs and set them on the counter gently. "Thanks Tses."
The feline gave a soft giggle as Tses was asking about frosting and sprinkles when the batter wasn't even mixed together yet. She was about to explain the process when Ty beat her to it. She smiled and nodded at Tses to confirm that what he had said was the truth. Just then Ty had asked her to crack the eggs into the batter since he had a habit of getting shells in it. "I can try. Claws and eggs tend not to go together all that well." She said with a smile as she wiggled her clawed fingers in the air at him. Carefully she grasped an egg in the pads of her furry fingers, it took a few odd tries to get it as her sharp claws got in the way. She held it over the bowl and tapped a clawed finger from her other hand against the shell and it split.
Now was the fun part, trying to get the shell apart! With her rough tongue sticking out of the corner of her feline mouth, she carefully used her claws to open the cracked egg and have the inner contents fall into the batter. It was a success! She had done it! She bounced a few times and giggled quite contently. Then she spotted the second egg, she had to attempt this process again. Oh how being a cat could be so unhelpful when trying to do the simplest things.
Making cupcakes was a lot more complicated than Tses expected. It took a lot of waiting. She wanted sprinkles, and this was taking a long time, especially for someone with the attention span of a seven year old. She considered sneaking off to find some anyway, then got distracted as she watched Regan try to crack the eggs without getting her claws in the way. Suddenly, being a cat woman seemed a lot less fun, especially if you had to worry about accidentally stabbing something with your claws. Maybe just being green and glowing wasn't so bad.
Letting them continue with the batter, she wandered over to one of the counters and wiggled her way onto it. With a little maneuvering, she finally found a cupboard where the spices were, and at the very top, sprinkles. Ty and Regan were busy with the eggs, she could at least help get the sprinkles! Smiling victoriously, she grabbed the container and moved to jump from the counter. In her efforts, however, she managed to knock the rest of the spice rack over, and spices came tumbling down on her head. Thankfully, the bottles were plastic.
Unfortunately, several of the lids popped off and she found herself blinking in a mixture of garlic and oregano.
