Butterfly laughed. She was so glad to have her brother back. When he mentioned him being the affectionate one, Butterfly responded with, "I know. I meant about her showing the affection back and initiating it." She made a teasing face at him and stuck her tongue out, then giggled.

Just as Ty stumbled again with his wording, Butterfly laughed as she caught him again. She laughed so much she almost fell off the couch. She kinda liked knowing that her brother and Tses were becoming more and more couple like. Plus, it was a good way for her brother to bond and open up to her. What else was a sister for. She would always be there to listen to her brother's "girl problems" if he had any.

She giggled again as she said to Ty,"Well that's good. Then you should really enjoy it more. Maybe she's starting to really come around and she'll continue to get better at it" She winked at him and grinned.

Ty blushed, starting to fidget a little. "Yeah, maybe..." he managed to mutter, looking away at the awkwardness. This was new to him, this was his first real relationship, so he'd obviously never kissed or ever done anything like that. And now talking about it...

Okay talking about it was weird. Though it felt somewhat...nice. Getting everything off his chest and actually talking about this stuff without worrying about getting something thrown at him. Actually talking to someone who understood the relationship side of things. "Actually we haven't done anything beyond simple kissing...no...you know...that stuff..." he muttered, blushing deeper.

She smiled at her brother and felt her heart warm as she grew closer to her brother. She wished that she would have had him around growing up. He would have been so nice to have around, even just talking to him. And she knew that he would have protected her from being bullied so much as a kid.

She smiled, sweetly as Ty told her that they had just kissed and nothing more, "Yeah, I gotcha. I'm happy for you, Ty. I'm glad that you have someone. I wish I could have someone like that. Although all the guys I tried dating never seemed to want to stay around for long. I guess I just wasn't their kinda girl. Maybe one day I can find someone that's as great of a boyfriend as you are to Tses."

"You will one day," Ty said with a smile. "I know you will. Just know they gotta pass inspection first. I ain't lettin' just anybody date my lil' sister." He was half-serioius, half-joking when he spoke. He stretched out, relaxing as a smile formed on his face.

But his eyes still showed some inner hurt. Under that softness and that happiness, he felt pain deep down--really deep--for what he'd done to his father. But it was for Tses...it saved her life, so it was okay, right? Of course.

"Hey...Chloe? If...if you kill someone to help someone you love....does that make it okay?" He asked, looking at her, hoping she had an answer.

Butterfly laughed upon hearing that her future boyfriends would have to pass inspection, but she was kinda glad that her brother was trying to protect her and look out for her. "I love you, Ty"

She adjusted herself and got comfortable on the couch after Ty stretched out. Butterfly snuggled against her brother, trying to keep warm. When Ty said Chloe, Butterfly knew then that he was about to ask her something serious. He only called her Chloe when something serious or important was about to be said. She perked her head up and looked at him as he asked his question. She thought about it for a second and then said, "Yeah, if you save someone you love and if your life is threatened like it was. Ty, they deserved to die. They weren't good people. Even if one of them was our dad. He hurt you and abandoned me and hurt Tses. Don't feel guilty for protecting your loved ones. You have a right to do that. And if someone decides to try and harm any of us, then they should have known better and should be prepared to deal with the consequences. No matter what they are."

"I love you, too," he replied, settling against her.

He listened to her speak, her words sinking in as he soaked them all up, listening closely. "I understand. I think. It's just so confusing.Thanks for helping me clear things up." He snuggled his sister, much as they likely would have if they'd known if they'd known each other as kids. His eyes slowly started to close, and he relaxed even farther.

She smiled as she heard him say I love you too and started to play with his hair. I guess it was just a habit of hers. She did that to comfort herself, so she thought it might help her brother. When he talked about it being confusing and thanked her, Butterfly kinda chuckled and said, "It's no problem, Ty. I'm your sister and you know that I'll help you in any way I can. I'll always be here for you and I'll always love you. No matter what you do." As she said this, she felt him snuggle her. She liked snuggling with him. It made her feel like they had always been brother and sister and had even grown up together. He felt like family to her. And technically he was. But for having never grown up with him and being as close as they were, he was the best family that she ever had. She would trade all of her memories of her other family, to have more memories with Ty. This is what real family was like. And it made her extremely happy and grateful for who she had now. She had him and Tses. And that was all that she really needed.

Ty found himself relaxing farther as she played with his hair, his body threatening to go to sleep. The way she spoke made him feel good. He knew that no matter what, he had two people that loved him. It didn't matter what happened, the three of them would be together through anything. To other people, they wouldn't seem like much, but the two female mutants were his. The closest thing to an actual family he'd had in awhile.

Then, Ty had a thought. "Hey, Chloe? You have any luck finding another place to live? I mean, sure it's a roof, but...honestly this place sucks. No water, no electricity...my sister deserves to live better than this, ya know?" He smiled over at her.

Butterfly began to relax as well. She laid there with her eyes closed when all of a sudden she heard Ty say her name. She peeked her eyes open at him as he asked about her finding another place to live. This reminded her that she needed to ask him about whether she should move into that place she visited earlier. She sat and thought for a moment as she tried to figure out what they called that place. Finally, she remembered that they had called it "The Mansion." She opened her eyes more and sat up for a moment and said, "Yeah, actually. I stumbled across a place before you disappeared and wanted to talk to you about it, but didn't get a chance to. And then after you went missing, I thought I better wait for you until you came back so you would know where I was. They called it 'The Mansion'. Have you ever heard of it and know where I'm talking about? I thought about moving there. Do you think you could help me?"

Ty listened as she spoke; he hadn't really heard of the Mansion...maybe it was a similar setup to Sanctuary or something. That's what it sounded like, anyway.

"I haven't heard of it, but it sounds like you're set on this. One day soon I'll help ya move in," he answered. That was it, he didn't know what all it was about, but he trusted her judgement, and he respected what she wanted to do. After all, that's what brothers did, right?

Ty smiled down at her. "So, what's this place like? I know it's better than this dump I have ya living in, heh."

Butterfly smiled as she heard her brother say One day soon I'll help ya move it, "Thanks, Ty." she said and hugged him. "Well I stumbled across it, but it has a greenhouse where they grow their own vegetables and its taken care of by a white with green striped tiger-like mutant and she showed me around. I found out some information about possibly being able to control my shifting and everyone around there seemed really nice. Plus the kitchen is huge and is always open. and the rooms seemed really nice. And since I'm older I can share a room if I choose or have my own. And they have a lot of space outside around the place. The building itself is huge also. It seemed like a really cool place to live and the tiger-mutant and I got along really well. She even called me a friend. I'm sure you'll be able to come and visit me all the time. Are you okay with that, Ty? I don't wanna make it seem like I'm leaving you and Tses cuz I'm not. I just need another place to live." she looked into his eyes to see if he would be okay with everything. The last thing she wanted to do was make her brother feel like she was leaving him.

Ty nodded, listening. It did sound alot like Sanctuary, but he was happy for her, if at the same time a little hurt. After all, he'd intended to show her Sanctuary so they could live and hang together, but....hey it was what she wanted, right? His face showed a little hurt, though he tried not to show it.

"You're not leaving me," Ty corrected, stumbling over the right words. "I'm happy you found somewhere, really." Maybe if I didn't disappear I'd have showed you my place like I was supposed to..." He tried to relax again, feeling mostly hurt, but he was more pissed at himself than anything. But hey, he was going to stick by his sister no matter what.

Butterfly listened as Ty spoke. She could tell he was hurt, even with him trying to not sound that way. She frowned as he beat himself up about not being there. She took her finger tips and put them under Ty's chin and directed his head to look at her. She looked him in the eyes and said, "It'll be okay, Ty. Just because I'm moving into another place, doesn't mean I have to stay there 24/7. I'll come visit and you can come stay with me. And I'm sure we'll both wanna spend time with Tses as well. It's not your fault, Ty. You're the best part of my life. We'll always have each other. No matter where we are."

Ty gave a small shrug, though he guessed it would be okay. If he'd have stuck around and followed through with showing her Sanctuary, they could see each other all the time. He nodded, looking her in the eyes.

"I guess, but if I hadn't ****ed up we could have lived together, seen each other every day. You wouldn't have had to worry about that because I'd thought that was what you wanted. I guess things just changed while I was gone..." His glance diverted from her, and a tear rolled down his cheek, alone and stray. Just like him. Going against the grain even when no one else would.Just waiting for someone bigger to brush him away.

"I'm sorry. I guess I just fail..."

Butterfly hugged her brother tight. She then released him and looked at him straight in the eye and wiped his tear way, then said, "You haven't failed or ****ed up. I'm still your sister and I'm still here for you no matter what. And I definitely still love you. Everything is okay, Ty. Besides, don't you spend a lot of time at Tses's? And I'm not far from there so its not that bad. I just happened to stumble upon the Mansion and it seemed like a nice place to live. I don't want you to be upset about it. I'm not leaving you. I never will. I appreciated you finding me another place to stay, but I just can't stay here forever and I just happened to find somewhere where they will take me. You're still a very important part of my life Ty. And you always will be. You're my brother. And I couldn't ask for anyone better." She kissed his cheek and smiled at him, wanting him to feel better about her moving to the Mansion.
