Ty practically floated down the street, all the way to the apartment Chloe was staying at. Well, where she was staying last time they saw each other. When he reached that door...all of his happy feelings faded, and fear overtook him. What if something happened to her? What if she didn't forgive him? How was he going to tell her he killed their father? Oh man...for some reason he wondered if Tses was the easier one to deal with here...and that was a little scary.

Ty took a deep breath, one hand clinging to the stuffed tiger in his pocket and swallowing hard. Finally, he choked down all fear, and all worry. His bandaged left hand balled into a fist, knocking on the door before slowly creaking it open.

Butterfly was sleeping on the cot. She had been so worried about her brother and seeing him again that she had worried and cried herself to sleep earlier. She missed him so much. As she was sleeping, someone knocked at the door. The knock woke her up. She rubbed her eyes sleepily and peered over towards the door. When she looked over, she saw her brother peering into the apartment as if he was looking for her. She woke up instantly and jumped up off of the cot. She yelled, "Ty!" She ran over to him and hugged him with such a force she almost knocked him down. She could feel herself almost fall over. She started to cry and she hugged him so tight. "Ty, I missed you so much. Where have you been? Are you okay? I thought that someone killed you and that I'd never see you again." She began to sob, but she was sobbing with relief because she finally had her brother back and from all the worrying she had done. She stood there just hugging him and crying, but she started to become weak. It took all her might to just stand up, but she just clung to her brother even tighter. She didn't want to let go. She just wanted to hug him forever that way he'd never be away from her again. "I was so scared, Ty." she said through sobs.

Ty was definitely surprised by her reaction, almost falling over when she hugged him. His arms wrapped tightly around her, letting her speak as he thought on everything.

"Its a long story...I missed you too though...dad decided to weasel back in and...he gave me this..." Ty motioned to his eye. "I was so ticked off I stayed to myself for awhile..Im so sorry..." He clung to her, figuring he'd tell her the rest as he got to it.

Butterfly just clung to him. She didn't wanna let go. She tried to walk him over to the couch and sit him down. She looked at his eye when he motioned towards it. "Why did he do that to you? Tell me what happened."

When he told her that he was sorry, Butterfly kissed his cheek and said, "It's okay. I understand. I just wished I had known something before hand. Known that at least you were okay."

Ty sighed, looking at the ground. "I got a letter from some guy who claimed to be an investigator. Said he'd been tracking me for his client, then blackmailed me into meeting him. Well...he was there, trying to apologize, but I wouldn't hear it. I brought you up, and he ignored it, so I grabbed him by the collar, ready to punch his teeth down his throat..." he tensed up, clenching his fists as a vein popped out of his head.

"I was hit from behind...then in the eye. And stomped. Then they emptied my wallet, stole my jacket, and everything but my ID. I was hurt...confused....scared of what I saw when I looked in the mirror....so I hid. I was afraid of hurting you and Tses....but I did anyway." Ty sighed again.

"But...we won't have any of that to worry about anymore," he said, somewhat darkly.

Butterfly listened as her brother told her everything that happened to him. When he tensed up, she grabbed his hands, trying to calm him down some. She told him "Its okay, Ty. He hasn't been there for me so it can stay that way."

Then as Ty told her about them beating him up and what they did to him, Butterfly started to get really angry. She wanted so badly to be able to hurt them for what they did to her brother. He had been nothing but good to her and for people to do that to him, it made her want to find out just the extent of which her poison blood could do to them. She was still listening to Ty talk about how he was scared of hurting her and Tses, but when he said that they wouldn't have any of that to worry about anymore, Butterfly looked at him curiously and slightly confused upon hearing his tone as he said it. "What do you mean by that, Ty?" she asked, somewhat scared at what his answer would be.

"What do you mean by that, Ty?"

"I mean I'm going to be there for you two like I'm supposed to," he explained, chewing on his lip. He looked away, for the first time feeling bad about what he'd done earlier that day. Until now, he'd felt good about it. But now....he felt guilty....it was just starting to sink in. He'd taken two lives, one of which being their father.

Ty didn't know how Chloe would take it, and it scared him. He was officially a murderer now. Was he becoming....no...he couldn't be. He did it to save Tses, that was all. It was justified, right? Right? He looked at her, hoping she would take his simple answer.

Butterfly smiled when he said that he was going to be there for her and Tses. She knew though that Ty was still hiding something that he didn't want to tell her. He wouldn't have said what he did earlier with the tone that he did if it was something simple like that.

She looked at him with a serious face, still trying to figure him out. "There's something more to it than that. I'm not a kid. Tell me what you meant. Did you hurt him really badly and scare him into leaving us alone? Did you kill him...? What actually happened?"

Ty bit his lip, closing his eyes. When he opened them, they were two white, black, and blue orbs of intensity. "Okay, I went to see Tses this morning. To try and make things right. But she wasn't home. So I left a note and turned to head to your place when it hit me that something...didn't seem right. So I went back, let myself in through the window, and found a note. She'd been kidnapped..." He paused, each and every word of this story leaving a bitter taste in his mouth and he once again didn't feel as bad for what he did....

"So I went to the address on the note, and he was there....with some guy he owed money. They wouldn't tell me when Tses was...The guy had a ring." He traced his finger along the scratch. "I killed them....both of them. Stabbed 'em... And found Tses locked in a trunk. Alive, but she was traumatized." His face was twisted into a weird mix of pain and pleasure.

"I'm sorry...."

Butterfly watched as her brother told his story. She looked at him with concern and worry. His eyes looked like he wasn't even there, like he was reliving what happened in his head and didn't even know that Butterfly was in the room.

As he continued the story, Butterfly was starting to feel more and more scared. Her brother was really scaring her. She didn't know how to feel. They had it coming to them. They hurt her brother and kidnapped Tses, but the look in Ty''s eyes looked as if he enjoyed killing. That's what scared her the most. She didn't want her brother to become a murderer. She didn't wanna be scared of her brother.

Then he said he was sorry. Butterfly was trying to figure out what to say to him, but she was speechless. It took her a few moments to find words to say. Finally, she managed to stammer out, "Oh my God, Ty. So what are we gonna do?"

Ty saw the fear in her eyes as he'd finished speaking, and it unnerved him. Made him further question himself. He didn't want to kill, he didn't enjoy it; he just told himself it was because he was finally delivering justice to the man that ruined the majority of his life. But he didn't know. He knew he wasn't about to go out and kill for the sheer heck of killing, and he wasn't about to intentionally hurt the ones he loved.

But that look on her face....this was what he'd spent three weeks hiding from. "I don't know. I guess I'm going on with my life as usual. Pick up where I left off, being the brother and boyfriend I should be. That's all I can do..."

Butterfly nodded her head as Ty told her that they would just go back normal life. That's all they could do, anyways, right? She wasn't ready for the thought of her brother actually killing someone, but I guess you did what you had to when your life is threatened.

She relaxed a little and just hugged her brother and told him, "Okay, Ty. I'm sure he deserved it anyway. I'm just glad that I have you back and that you are okay. Well at least for the most part." she giggled, wanting him to relax and feel better. "Is Tses okay? Can we go see her maybe?

Ty hugged her tightly, a tear running down his cheek, sliding down the scar forming on his face. "Yeah. She's okay. Still shook up from being locked in a trunk for a day though...." he murmured, quietly beating himself up about not having gotten there sooner.

"She wanted me to spend some time with you. Have some brother-sister time, since me and her already made out....I mean up! We made up..." He blushed, deep red at his mistake. Apparently a part of him was still in the clouds about when she'd kissed him.

Butterfly smiled upon hearing that Tses was okay. She wiped the tear off of his face. She knew Tses would be okay. She was a really tough girl. She just kept hugging her brother, knowing that he needed to feel the love more than she did.

When Ty said that Tses wanted them to spend some time together, Butterfly replied with, "Alright. So what do you wanna do Ty? We could go out and just walk around if you wanted." She continued to listen to him speak and laughed when he slipped up and said made out. She smiled and knew that he had revealed something that he didn't mean to. Butterfly cheered him on, saying "Yay! I'm glad both of you are starting to be more affectionate. Me and Tses sorta had a sweet moment too when we were looking for you. She actually hugged me and comforted me like a sister. I'm glad you're dating her. She may be a hard nut to crack sometimes, but I'm sure that her affection is worth it. At least I can tell by how much you're blushing. She must be a great kisser then" she said teasingly and messing up his hair.

"I don't know what I wanna do..." he murmured, looking at her. Ty chuckled, listening as she spoke, the blush not leaving his cheeks.

"I've always been the affectionate one," he explained. "Do you know how many hugs she's willfully given me? I can count on one hand. Even less if you don't count the ones that lasted less than a second." The man gave a small laugh.

"Yeah, she's getting better at it--I mean...with it," he stumbled again as she messed up his hair. Oh thank God there was no way Tses would learn of this conversation...
