The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"I see, well try and move past it. What's done is done and can't be changed. " she said easily. She knew it was harder then that but she knew little other advice for the situation. Plus he did not seem to want to talk much of the situation which helped a sit let her off the hook. SHe had no idea why gloves and triggers did not mix but was content to wonder if it had to do with his power.
The fact he tried not to steal from Mutants won respect with Aura. Stealing from humans she could easily look away on. "I have never been subtle enough for that kind of work. " she admitted honestly. Her victims were rarely left alive and may not have wanted to be when they were left living."Try not to lead any trash back home, but if you need it, i will help" she said. It was best Sanctuary was not seen as a criminal ahven, more then it was.

Ty simply nodded, brushing his hair out of his face. "Yeah, I understand there. I just keep seeing that one scene in my head...I swiped a gun from a human who had it concealed, so he wouldn't use it. Well, he grabbed me, my hand slipped, and the gun went off...bullet went straight through his throat." Ty shuddered, looking away for a moment.
"I never go to the Sanctuary when tailed. I know a bunch of abandoned buildings, if I lead a pursuer somewhere, I go to one of my old hideouts, then go back to Sanctuary when my trail is clean.Thanks. Good to know I can count on someone else in a pinch. I'd like to say I can return the favor, but that's only if you need to know where something's been, or if you need something jacked from a pocket, heh." He gave a small grin, with a twinkle of mischief in his eyes.
"You may never forget that image, as damaged as my memories are, i still recall the first day my powers emerged and my first kill. That look in the eyes as, their souls drain away" she said trailing off, the image replaying in her mind, taking her attention momentarily.
"You did nothing wrong and accidents do happen. On the bright side he will never try hurting you again" she said with a smile. The dead rarely came back, except one guy she met, but that was a power and with the wide diversity of mutant powers unlikely to be an issue.
"Smart always good to have well known places you can hide. Our kind Must stand together, The humans would have each of dead" she said shaking her head annoyed with the idea.
"Tell me, could your power work with something like an Atm machine?" she said curiously. Aura had learned the value of money somewhat better recently. What the common person got and what money Aura had access to however was quite the divide.

Ty nodded slowly. "But the fact that I'm mutant, and he and the government are human, it's likely to be a hate crime instead of manslaughter. Not that he was much of a man..." His voice trailed off, but his spirits were at least lifted.
"Being a pickpocket, and having dabbled in urban exploration...I've been scraping with police before my powers emerged, heh. The old hideouts do prove useful. Though as far as ATM machines...I don't know. Those are complex, and I see the visions in the point of view of the object in question...But...that sounds like something worth figuring out." His smile grew, eyes now shimmering. He really wanted to try this now.
She nodded at his words, the humans would never treat him fairly. "Humans don't care about treating us fairly." she said agreeing with him. She had very little doubt the humans would lock him away much as they had recently done to her. While her second stay in a cage had been slightly better, Aura still had a fond hatred of cages.
"Police tend to avoid me when they can get away with it." she said happily before addressing the rest of his words. "Well their are a lot of such machines and a lot of people use each one, so the chance might be better. Though to be honest i have never use done" she admitted. Aura had money, in an Order formed bank account under a false name she could not pronounce.

"Exactly," he replied, still thinking on the ATM bit. "I noticed them, but I'm not sure it would work. I mean, now that I think about it, to hack someone's account like that, you'd need their debit card, or something, anyway, from what I've seen. Even then, I don't know if my abilities will let me see what I need to..."
He leaned against the wall, rubbing the stubble on his chin. "Unless we wanna wait for someone to use one, I swipe their wallet, and we give it a go?" He kept his voice low, and kept looking to see if anyone else was coming. But this was really intriguing. "Wait...I got an idea....if it won't work on the machine...I'll need to get somebody's glasses. Somebody that uses the particular ATM. Then I can see what I need to see. And then some..." He paused after this little tangent. "So....wanna give it a go?"
"I find it much easier to simply kill the victim but this is your dance" she said. His powers meant he knew what might work best with them and so she would follow his lead. Still in her mind, a quick death then robbing him would work as well. Aura also considered he might be to stuck in her ideas.
"Glasses huh? We can do that" she said with a smile. Though the people she knew with glasses would likely not have valid credit cards. "I'll follow your lead though, im better at force then sneaking, but im pretty good with orders" She said. She pushed off from the wall and took a few steps closer.
"you will be safe" she said as she looked around once more to check the area.
"I'm thinking," Ty murmured. "I mean, I'm good, but I can't exactly steal glasses off of someone's face or a hat off of someone's head without them noticing. I'm just not sure how I feel about the killing. But if the person has a lot of money...we'll be set..." Hmmm....this was going to be tricky. But fun.
"Okay, the first thing we need to do is find a good ATM, and wait for someone to use it. Once that happens, we'll have our target. From there I'll figure out how to get the item we need." With that, he turned to walk out of the alley, and as he was walking, he had another thought.
"I don't need to keep it, just touch it. If my power works, it'll be all I need. But I sorta...well I'm not all there when my power works, and I have a headache afterwards. During that time, since this is New York and I'll be trying to touch someone's glasses....that's when I'll need you to watch my back." This was a new side of Ty, but hey it was just money, right? There would always be more money. Lives were what couldn't be replaced, though he doubted some were even worth replacing...
Aura cared littile about the money aspect of the situation, she was far more intrested in helping her freind discover more about his powers. He was right it did seem hard to steal somthing off of somones head with out them knowing. She smiled at the idea though she was unsure how they were going to do this and have it not be public, still it seemed like it would be a lot fun.
" No one will touch you while you are indisposed." she said quite willing to garentee his safety while she was near him. "We may wish to find an isolated machine" she said not even considering things like camera's or other security messures.
"I can easily help with that" she rubbed her hands together with a smile on their plan. This would end up being a lot of fun and she had made a new freind who even loved at the same place she did. The only question was where he wnated to pick to do this as she knew she would be a poor judge of where to pick as she had never even used an atm. Still their had been many she had recalled that might fit the bill.

Ty nodded, thinking hard about this. Man, he was actually planning a heist...and he had to admit he kind of liked it.
"Isolated would be more convenient for us, but location is everything. I mean, nobody with a ton of money is likely to go to an ATM in the cruddy neighborhoods.So...I think there's an ATM not far from here. I mean right now we're not looking to see if we can get a ton of money out of this. I just wanna see if it works." He scratched his head, chewing on his lip a little.
"Okay, it sounds easy enough on paper. Watch someone who uses an ATM, I swipe their wallet, then touch either their glasses...or a jacket...or whatever, hoping to get their PIN. After that I just use the information I got to empty their account. Thanks for watching my back here. Whatever comes outta this, if anything, you can have a cut of it if you want," he said, smiling as he turned down the alley.
Once out, he looked around, seeing the ATM in the distance. "Alright...it's over there, so I think we just should find someone that looks loaded using it. Sound good? Did I miss anything? Usually I do things spur of the moment so this planning thing is new to me."
Though she really did not need a cut, she chose not to argue the point at the time. Aura saw this as simply helping another Mutant expand their powers. As long as the victems were either alive or could be confirmed human she saw no issues with desposeing of the bodies either though she suspected Ty might. She took note of the item's ty said he might need and followed him, taking note of their surroundings as she moved.
"um well that guy looks pretty loaded" she said pointing off down the alley. The man was obviously homeless and Aura was not sure if he understood he was out of whatever he was drinking. "I have never used an ATM and my robberies are usually fatel" she commented with a shrug. Aura watched as the drunk homeless man staggered back ut of view.
"Seems easier just to pry the thing open, but i suppose your first target is meaningless. I mean that to know if the abillity work's you just need the card or what not? Well if it work's on a poor man's card you know it works on the richer one" she offered as advice."[/color] she offerd as advice, in part as she had no understanding of atm's security measures.
Ty chuckled, politely shaking his head. "Nah, that guy's flat broke, homeless. See? His jacket's tattered, his face is dirty, and he looks like he hasn't shaved in a month," he explained, rubbing his own stubble. "Maybe, but there's more in it if you test it on the richer man's card."
Then, he saw someone use the ATM outside the bank. Well dressed, glasses, three piece suit...And he got a wad of money from the machine. "Alright, this is it," he murmured, taking off his gloves. He walked across the street, down the sidewalk towards the man, bumping shoulders with him, but the man tripped over Ty's foot and they both went down, the glasses falling off of the man's face. Just as planned.
Ty secretly pocketed the man's wallet, then scrambled to his feet and grabbed the man's glasses. Then froze as almost like clockwork, his power worked. Ty was still frozen from the vision when the man snatched his glasses and walked away.
Those glasses had seen so much, and Ty was trembling as the headachr set in.
She was going to mention she understood he was was broke but let the joke drop as they had found a target that worth using. Curiously Aura watched as Ty worked his magic with the accidental fall. Aura began to move closer but saw the man while disgruntled did not seem about to cause actual harm to Ty either, so she kept slight distance, untill the man snatches his glasses back and began to walk away. Aura followed him only for a few moments
SHe then backed up and took point around Ty, making sure no one else was coming. She had no idea how long his deabillitation lasted, nor if asking would disturb the process. So SHe kept watch, wondering if the man would come back or not and wondering more.
Looking at the ATM herself Aura found it surprising they worked at all, it seemed simple for many mutants to simply swipe what was inside. "That seems to have worked well" she said as for once the plan had seemed to go pretty well,

Ty shook his head, holding onto it with his left hand. "I...I didn't get the number..." Ty murmured, his voice shaking. "Those glasses....that guy....he...." Putting his gloves back on, he fumbled for the aspirin in his pocket and popped two of them dry, as he usually did.
Then, he motioned for Aura to follow him into an alley. "I lost the numbers in the rest of the vision...that man...he beats women...abuses children..." As he spoke, the redhead's voice was still weak as he leaned against a wall. "I think those glasses saw every one of them..." He shut his eyes, face still pale and breathing heavy. "Just....gimme a second, okay?" he asked, trying to relax.
Aura followed Ty listening to his words she knew not quite what to make of the man Ty described. She let him speak and then when he asked for a second she nodded and took a quick look around to check for anyone she could see. Seeing no one she looked back at Ty, his mutation seemed to have some serious set backs and she could see it would be useless in combat. Still combat was not everything and not all were meant for it.
"I may be able to find him and kill the human still" she offered as easily as proposing a trip to burger king. Still in reality he could have made it to safety already and Aura could not quite recall how he looked. She wonderd if he would try again, it sounded like he was close but Aura had no way to judge other then by Ty's word that he lost the numbers. "Well your plan did work, you almost had the numbers it sounds like. " she said.
