The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Raven had to look how his nice cold beer was being drunk before his eye's, the one he wanted so badly. Since the woman had put her hand on the barrel of his gun, and used the force of leverage to point it to his own head it was out of the question to shoot the damn thing. The woman talked but the words did not reach Raven's ears. He was to busy thinking of the quickest option to get the fur ball off of him. Since he could not use his gun anymore he decided to let go of hit, making his hand free to let the lights of the warehouse go out and without hesitation he light was now in his free hand, causing an immerse flash that surely would blind her. The flash could also be seen threw the air gap beneath the door.
The police agent ran back to his car and called for backup. If the woman was blinded he could try to escape from the thief her legs.
This was quite an interesting position for Sara. The beer was hers, the gun was released, so that were hers too. She pulled it away, flicked the safety on, and tucked it in with the rest of her arsenal at the back of her belt, all in the same smooth motion. If she played her cards right, the food would be hers too. Served him right for even thinking of trying to capture her.
Sara tipped her head back to drink more of the beer that was now hers, when the lights moved. She swallowed a large gulp and pushed her hand over her eyes. Her teeth grit together hard, as she gave a frustrated cry of pain, when the light, literally hit her optic nerves. Even the fraction of light that made it through her fingers was enough, when she turned her head. Eyes squeezed shut and all, because of her heightened sight.
Somewhere, in the back ground, Sara heard the man outside, And the beer bottle hit the floor. Ok new plan. He could have the food. Sara’s hand reached above them, feeling across the counter where the frozen meal had been placed. Hold on, knock him out, and get out, blind, before that back up she thought she heard about, from outside, got there.
Her legs were still trying to hold the man’s neck, and choke him, though her grip might of shifted as she scooted across the floor with her hand on the counter. Fingers splayed and looking for the food. Her fingers found the tray, and she moved to bring the frozen meal, down on the man’s head.
(Feel free to use that moment to get loose, although Sara would rather you stayed close for obvious reasons.)
(Don't know if you seen it, but the meal was in the microwave... anyway let's just pretend it's hot )
The light did it's trick and the woman was blinded. The woman scooted with her hand to get a hold of his frozen meal that was heated up. He felt the hot plastic on his head and thought this could work nice as an throwing object. The hand that was free from the light flash was now used to shove the heated meal of his hand on the furry legs of the woman. One of his hands was still occupied with trying not to suffocate, but with a swift movement he knew a way to get out. He jumped up kicking his legs up in the air, making a grasp for the womans throat. His other hand was now also squeezed firmly between the hairy leg of the woman, and his own throat. He had to get her off of him and secure his warehouse with a smart lie, but these were plans for the future, fist get out of the womans leg. Though it had been a long time he had been between a womans leg, this definitely could not be called pleasure.
(Sorry about that. For some reason I thought it was only getting ready to be put in.)
Sara cursed out loud at the hot food. Her leather pants blocked some, but it wasn’t exactly like leather breathed. So when her leg heated up, it didn’t really cool easily either.
There was a sharp movement from him, making his weight come up, and Sara’s body tipped. Off balance because she hadn’t had her vision as a way of checking. One hand reached down, intending to grab the man’s neck, but since that was slipped free, she snatched for his hand. Intending to keep track of him with all of her senses. Especially now that her sight was gone.
Sara had slipped, so that her shoulder blades were against the floor, her foot slid up the side of Raven’s arm. Kicking, without sight, but by feel, for across where she felt his head should be. The hand at her throat was alarming. Her head tilted and her neck twisted to allow her jaws a chance to try and snap down on the hand at her neck.
( This was not how I imagined it, but I can work with it, this post may sound confusing with the couch thing, just don't know another explanation. )
As Raven shifted his weight up letting his feet come up that were intending to reach for her throat, this did not happen, the woman tilted herself letting her shoulder blades go down and Ravens legs missed their grasp, instead it grasped her legs. With their legs tangled into each other and one of her legs on his arm she gave out some hard kicks against his jaws, the kicks were wild so apparently she was still blind. With Raven's hand at the womans throat he squeezed hard trying to let her chuckle, but the squeezing was interrupted by some fierce fangs biting.
This whole situation with the hanging on each other, biting, kicking, hurting did not really make any sense, it had to be stopped. Raven let go of the womans throat and spread his legs letting him free fall to the ground, with a fast roll he came on his back and hit the back of the couch. Putting his hands on the top of the couch, he flicked over and came on the ground to reach for a handgun that was shoved under the couch. He grabbed it and instead of firing at the woman, he fired a few round threw the brick wall, the rounds all hit the wall at the exact same spot, letting 2 round go threw hitting the cop in the head. This was no luck but some fast calculation and sounds of the sirens that were still on. He looked back to the cat woman with his gun pointed.
How many times could this man’s head get in the way of Sara’s foot? Wow. She’d only expected one kick to be successful, if that. Though her leg being tangled wasn’t something she was enjoying. Her throat was released, letting the spinning feeling in her head slow, so she gave on the bite. Choosing to use her mouth for breathing.
Raven had disappeared from her, in her new world of darkness. An ear flicked in his direction listening to his movement, then flinching at the sound of the gun shots. Not really because of what they meant, but because of the fact they were so loud. What is it with these people and a fascination with things that are loud and go bang! Her head turned in the direction of the dropped body, outside. As if she were actually seeing him, with out her sight. She could hear him, and she could smell the new sent of blood, that was it.
“Hypocrite.” Sara breathed. She pushed herself up when there was a rustle of fabric, from his direction. It was level with her shoulder so she assumed it was a coat sleeve. She froze, waiting for another shot. “So was he part of society that had to be removed?”
The thief was not now standing on her feet, frozen with her ears sharp to pick up any sort of sound to detect Raven's movement. He stood there with his gun pointed, but taking a shot to the head would be far to easy, even if she had made it a little bit harder for him then intended.
Instead of taking the shot he rushed over to the door to take a glance on what was happening outside, he peeked threw the door seeing the cop car with a dead cop with his head threw the window of the car door. "Amusing" He walked over to the car and retracted the body out of the window and dropped it down on the wooden walkway that was in front of his warehouse. He leaned forward grasping for the microphone that connected the car to the central bureau.
"This is backup, scene was a false alarm, call them back, over" "Roger that, police backup heading for the emergency call head back, false alarm over"
Raven picked up the body again and took it wih him to the egde of the warehouse, where Miami touched the sea. He threw the body in the sea, it would take at least a week before the body was found, and if it was traced back to here, well that was a worry for another time.
The backup police were called back and that was one thread less to worry about, now it's time for our little thief.
From her position, Sara tracked the man’s progress across the room, and outside, by sound. She felt her eyes blink, as she listened, but it was odd, feeling the blink, and not opening her eyes up to light. Her heart rate increased, as she waited. Blindness wasn’t something she’d ever liked, and she could only hope the damage was reversible by her healing factor. Wishing it would work faster.
She slid her feet backwards two steps, following the counter to the couch. While he was still outside, Sara eased one of her throwing knifes up her sleeve. A second was slid, so that it laid flat, between the couch cushions. His foot beats where getting close to the door again, so she let herself slide back along the counter, continuing to feel her way around the room.
Raven was not to foolish to just walk back in the room and continue the fight. He first went back to the car to get the police radio out, could be handy to keep track of them. The car itself would be disposed when he had the time.
Walking around the warehouse he came to the the back where a back entrance was. He looked threw the window to get an idea where his little thief went to. He saw her blindles making a way next to the counter. He had no clue what he wanted to do with her, maybe give her chance to get out, he was really hungry and one jewel thief could not make too much damage? Who was he fooling, she stayed a criminal, it was his job to take her down, dinner has to wait. He opened the door and walked in, he glanced threw his glasses over where the woman was, but kept on walking. "Having fun?" Raven smiled as he sat down on his couch, he has a funny idea of picking up a cushion and throwing, just for fun, but when he tilted the cushion he found something less soft, a knife. "Not very nice hiding knives in my house, Catch" He threw the cushion over to the woman with some speed hoping to hit her and to get a nice response.
(I assume the knife was not included with the sushion? If I’m wrong tell me. I’ll fix it.)
Sara listened as the different door opened. Her head tilted slightly so that ear was flicked in his direction, though she was still moving along the counter. The man was nearing the couch and she moved her head to try to pin point exactly how far away he was.
"Having fun?"
He should know that answer, and Sara didn’t want to admit it. So returning a reply with another question always work for avoiding things. “are you?” Of course he was. She listened as he sat on the couch, unsure about weather to be happy that he found that one, or not.
"Not very nice hiding knives in my house, Catch"
There was another rustle of fabric, from the pillow and sleeve. She spun on her heal, and moved the arm without the knife up her sleeve, up cross her from. The palm of her hand caught the corner of the cushion but didn’t completely knock the thing to the side. Instead, it smacked her in the shoulder. “I didn’t have to lay the knife flat.”
The cushion his her shoulder, and Raven smiled, shame she couldn't see it. "Thanks for asking, I am having fun, but our game is getting old, and repetitive, an no, you didn't have to lay the knife flat, but you did so that must say something?"
Raven stood up again and started walking from one side, the couch, so the door. "What to do with you, death will come, but with what methods? That's that makes this game so much fun, don't you think?"
He glanced threw the window near the door to have a look if somebody would try to intervene, but it was as quiet as death it's self. "Guess it's just me and you again."
Blah, blah, blah. Great. More talking but there was one thing about the conversation that made Sara think.
”You didn't have to lay the knife flat, but you did so that must say something?"
Yeah. Something was said. Sara was dealing with a killer, and yet she wasn’t killing him. In the camps, she had killed just one. A guard that was killing her, and had a pile of bodies before she found him. She wasn’t trying to kill him. Yet he admitted to her that her life was going to end soon?
"What to do with you, death will come, but with what methods? That's that makes this game so much fun, don't you think?"
“Yeah sure, what can we do to kill you but let you live long enough to say you lived, fun game. All I knew how to play in the old days.” He moved again, making Sara’s ears flip back and forth. Yeah, they were alone. She already knew that, but checking was nice. “Lucky me.”
"Yes well, you have proved to be a good opponent, but in the end one will lose, I already taken away your sight, what about hearing? Most people will say that I am a cruel man, but once you get to know me, I'm not so bad.... I just let you feel what you have made others feel. Not just the persons you killed or hurt, but family's broken, see my justice runs way deeper then people imagine"
Without letting the woman react to his comment he fired 2 shots. The shots both missed, but that was the intention. They went into the wall next to her, right next to both ears. These beautiful fired bullets caused hearing damage, he loved it.
"No need for hard feelings, I'm guessing you don't think back about your criminal trips? More about how to save your pathetic little life".
"Yes well, you have proved to be a good opponent, but in the end one will lose, I already taken away your sight, what about hearing?
Sara’s lips pressed together. She didn’t want a fight. She wanted money so that she could pretend things were normal. The fight was his idea, and she hated having to admit he was able to take something, let alone the hearing he threatened her with, away from her.
? Most people will say that I am a cruel man, but once you get to know me, I'm not so bad....
“Ya-huhh…”
I just let you feel what you have made others feel. Not just the persons you killed or hurt, but family's broken, see my justice runs way deeper then people imagine"
Sara took a breath to yell back at him. Self righteous men like him didn’t get it. What about her? Her rights. She didn’t even know if she had family. The gun shots around her ears ended the outburst before she could even voice a sound. Her head bowed, and her palms clapped over her ears. Making a hissing sound of breath as she sucked more air inside. One of her knees hit the floor when she stumbled, but she refused to go down further, fighting to keep the footing she had. There was a buzz, and a ring in her head that pounded, yet she could hear what his voice was saying. As if it were amplified over a loud speaker that happened to be right next to her head.
"No need for hard feelings, I'm guessing you don't think back about your criminal trips? More about how to save your pathetic little life".
“and if I did.” Sara breathed. “Think bad…” She could have screamed at him again. About the things she’d been through. Crimes done to her, and what had been stolen before she could remember enough to know if she had it, and if it had value. “Yeah.” Fine just give him what he wants because men like him don’t care, especially when they aligned themselves with humans. “Yes, but so what. I care about my own existence.” Her chin lifted and she looked up, glaring at her darkness where the man stood. "So shoot me!"
"Your wish is granted" The woman looked like she gave her best fight, now it was time to let justice be served, with pain. Raven took of his glasses and revealed his unnatural light blue eyes. He raised his handgun again, 2 shots would cause some pain.
The two shots were fired and hit their target, the knee caps. Shame it wasn't a knife, that would have caused twice the pain. Anyway back to the subject at hand, the suffering. Raven lowered his gun and walked back to the table to lay down the weapon and choose the next one. His eye's reach the couch, where the tricky thief had hidden her throwing knife. He reached out for it and grabbed it. "This is good quality" he said while balancing the point of the knife on his finger. A little blood came out of the finger but that did not worry him. ""Anymore wished I can grant you?" He said with a a pitch of satisfaction in his voice.
