The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

For someone so reliant on her sight, it was alarming to land without it. Yes Sara had other senses that were just as sharp, and yes she could hear about everything still from who ever this other mutant thought he was. But her sight was where her own mental health came from. Her art and ability. The things that kept her sane.
Sara’s eye blinked hard as she worked to keep her composure on the outside. Pupils fully dilated the way they did when she was in dark rooms or at night. The difference being that she could see then. So she stared a head, at her nothingness, as her other senses kicked into over drive. Particularly her sense of hearing, working along side her memory of the layout of the building before she landed.
There was a second she stood there, crouched, her lips pulled tight against her teeth, and a low frustrated rumble vibrated deep down from her chest. There was an echo of a heart beat that wasn’t Sara’s own, and she used it as a beacon. Practically launching herself off of the ground after the sound because the beat came from the one taking away her sight. She moved to shove a hand against his chest.
(Ooc: If u find this to much God modding please tell me)
As soon as Raven had took away the womans ability to see by covering herself in darkness, he switched from vision. There she was, shining brightly as heat came of her body. "You will suffer, it's only a matter of time when it starts and trust me it hasn't" The woman tried an effortless try to shove a hand against his chest, this resulted in grabber that hand and pulling it strongly to wards him and raising his knee with force.
"Did that hurt?" Raven took steps back giving the woman a break, just to let the next blow come harder. Her faith was already decided, even if this confrontation would end in her getting away, she would perish if the both meet again. If she would perish on the spot, it would just be another bad girl gone rid, nobody would care.
"I am here to create a world without thieves, murderers, rapists you name it, and a thieve like you does not fit in this world of mine, and you would never fit in my world, just look at your appearance, people may call you freak or other words, but I just call it a waist of air, the air you breath belongs to better humans or mutants and not lo life people like yourself."
(Under different circumstances yeah, I’d ask you to change that because there are things she’d do with that knee, but I’m working around it for now.)
If he was going to shoot to kill, he would have done that back a the alley rather than just getting her leg. So when her hand she stopped what was her instinct reaction. Let him believe what ever he wants to believe.
So his knee connected with her tightened stomach and she let him go. No grabbing his knee and no twisting their arms. Lets see how big this individual thinks he is.
"Did that hurt?"
“You could say that.” Of course it hurt. A knee to the gut hurts anyone. Sara’s head followed the man’s movement back, pinpointing him again as he continued to talk, even though her eyes were still staring a head.
"I am here to create a world without thieves, murderers, rapists you name it,
Years ago Sara might of stood up an applauded for this man. Then again, years ago, Sara had just escaped from a lab that was known for war making things. She hadn’t realized that she needed such low life activities for her own survival. “Good for you.” She murmured with a voice that came from the back of her throat.
and you would never fit in my world,”
Where did Sara fit?
” just look at your appearance,”
See!
” people may call you freak or other words, but I just call it a waist of air, “
Wow that was more creative than usual.
” the air you breath belongs to better humans or mutants and not lo life people like yourself."
Ouch…..
“Yeah that’s easy to say coming from a norm looking dishonest bleeder like yourself.” Sara let her mouth twitch into a half smirk. “And yes you are dishonest because you’re just lucky you can be dishonest. You’re just as much of a freak as I am. and the people you want to protect will tell you as well that every breath you take, steals their oxygen as well."
Raven expected a some what smarter reply from the woman, her reply was simply dull, and very much expected.
"Freak, people may say that, but in the end I am superior to them, they will see, submit, and appreciate to what I have done to the filth that lurks in these streets. They will no longer fear for thieves, murderers, rapists and mutants that have gone from the good path, they will only fear what would happen to them if they went wrong. You must see that this world is rotten, and you are not a part of the solution. Who is not a part of the solution, is a part of the problem. I deal with those problems, make it suffer, hurt and death is the end. Your stray comes to an end, maybe not here but it will, count on that".
Raven spoke the words like someone who is dedicated and really believes in his cause. He did not smile, he only looked threw his glasses dominant to the woman.
"I can give you a choice, will you be a example for my cause, or do you just want to end up dead some where?" Those were his final words, both choices would resolve in death, but Raven did not expect her to choose one of the options. He expected a reaction, hostile that is, but it would only be a delay for her final breath.
Example for his cause. Well he’d already told her that he was ending the lives of those that were not a part of his world, no matter what type of shallow fearful idea he wanted to place in her. In those that she would be an example for. He spoke entirely too highly of himself. For some reason she found the way he spoke funny and let herself chuckle. All that high and mighty air he was trying to put into his words. Ok yeah she couldn’t see right now, and yeah, he had tricked her with that wall thing, but he had no idea about who she was either. No one did and no one cared. Their loss, as far as she was concerned.
“Some choices you give.” Sara was standing with her chin slightly up. The tip of her tail gave a sharp flick. “you can try.”
(Ooc: Ok, this is just an Idea. What if I were to capture you and you wake up in my warehouse. Some people cops or something else find you there and we get a nice fight with me intervening at some point and you escaping?)
(With Sara's healing ability, Sara will be hard to knock out because of her healing ability. She was only captured in the camps because I described her suddenly turning into an imitation porcupine with tranquilizer darts. I try to keep things the same but if you can manage something like that to get past her healing ability and keep her asleep till you got her there, Sure.)
Raven try? That was a funny thing, "I don't try" He ran over the roof making a slide trying to get past her in order to leap over to the next building while in the air giving her her sight back, and blinding her so heavy her brain would collapse for a brief moment so he could tie her up and take her somewhere more secure. If this would work he had a new trick in his arsenal.
(Inserts Sara’s really bad luck so you’ll never know, hehehe Also so that we can just get there. lol)
There was movement, so Sara reacted, spinning low with one foot out stretched in hopes of slashing her claws across her attacker as he moved bye. That out stretched attacking leg spun around till it was under her again, balanced well and then Sara used it to push off taking chase, as her vision came back. She went to follow to the next building when her vision went out again, and she tripped on the ledge, Sending herself flipping over the side and into the next building, rather than onto the roof, where she had intended. There was a thud against the brick wall and then another that was more like the sound of a bell, when she hit a metallic fire escape. Out like a….. light
Raven landed on his back on the roof, not knowing what truly happened he got up and took of his dark glasses, revealing his light blue eye's. He stepped forward to look over the edge of the roof, and a little smirk on his face appeared. There she was, in an awkward position hanging on the fire escape. "My lucky day"
The only problem now was getting her of the fire escape and then off to his warehouse. With some quick thinking he had made a plan. Some hard kicks with his boots on the fire escape should do the trick. Bashing and bashing the fire escape gave in and fell down to the ground, so did the woman, but her fall was broken by some filled dumpsters.
"Let's get you out of here" He took the filthy body out of the dumpster and over his shoulder. As he walked out of the alley he made him self invisible and was out to get a car, lucky for him some rich brat who did not deserve his money stepped out of a silver Mercedes to get some cash out of the wall, leaving his car running. "I know I'm good" He dumped the hairy lady in the the passenger seat and sat himself down in the driver seat. "Hey kid, better luck next time" The kid turned around but did not see anything out of the ordinary, till he saw his car drive off without a driver in it, you really should have seen his face Raven thought while looking at his passed out passenger.
The drive was not to long, his warehouse was near harbor, and old abbandoned warehouse with a passage to the ocean. The car was parked next to his motorcycle, inside that is since if he left them outside somebody else would try to snatch them. "Work with me" He dragged her body out of the car, with his hand around her neck, just like you would drag a cat. He placed her on a seat, wrapped her up with some duck tape, and all was fine, this would hurt for her if she would try to escape, the fur ball. It was time for some beer and a hot meal but when he checked the fridge he was all out. "There go's my luck".
Raven decided he could let her alone for another 10 minutes to grab some food and beer.
(Why did Weekend At Bernie’s suddenly pop in my head with the car thing?)
If anyone else, other than Sara, would have hit their heads like that, it would have been much harder to recover from. Who knows what Sara’s body was doing to repair it’s self. All Sara knew, was that she was slowly fading back in, when she felt a hand at her neck, holding her looser skin like a scruff to drag her back across the ground. She was aware that things were going by her, and that she could grab a hold, making herself more of a dead weight, but her arms didn’t want to respond. She faded back out before she was about to think of anything concerning.
She was fading back, when she heard his foot steps disappear, and the stench of garbage invaded her nostrils. Wow what had been kept in this place? Rotten eggs? She tried to tilt her head back, only to pull her face up tight and stifle a yelping growl of pain. Ok. So moving her head, still hurt. She went to pull her hands up to her face, only to find that they were stopped… By duck tape on her fur… Oh that was just lovely…
She blinked, and the warehouse swam into view. This time her head didn’t hurt. Only the numb throb that was in her sinuses but that was from the bad smell that filled the room. What had died in here?
Mean while her claws worked at the strips of tape that were between her hands. Working to cut through so that she could get up off of the chair. It took her only a moment to cut that part of the tape. There were still a couple of sections that crossed her front, and held her arms to her sides. Those were what she began working on next.
She stood out of the chair, taking in her surroundings, as her right arm was freed. The left was freed a second later leaving stripes of duck tape across her arms and across the front of her shirt. Not stylish. She picked at the tuck tape on her front as she strolled around, leaving the stripes on her wrists for later, when she was around a lot of water.
Smelling past the stench, She picked out the door that the other mutant had left from, then hopped up above, so that she could wait for his return. He may not be all that happy when he walks in and sees an empty chair.
The store wasn't a great distance away from the warehouse, so Raven decided to take a walk to think over what to do with his criminal friend. Should he cause severe pain? Pin her on the police stations door with engravings? Both? The temptation of doing both was great so that was his plan, at least if she would still be sitting nicely where he left her.
The shop where he went to get some beer and a meal was rather empty. Just a pretty girl behind the register that was more interested in her nails then costumer, but for the rest the shop was empty. Raven walked slowly to wards the cooler to get his beer, on his way there he looked around the racks to see if there was some interesting stuff to take with him, a new hammer, yes handy for breaking some bones. He took the hammer with him while he continued to get his beer.
The frozen meal for the microwave was not far from where he took the beer out of the cooler. With his stuff packed he was ready to go pay for his stuff and walk back to his warehouse. He glanced threw his sunglasses to the door that was being kicked in bye some hooded pathetic figures. His natural instinct of killing law crossers kicked in and as the thugs were threating the girl behind the register to give them the money Raven shoved his gun pointed up wards against one of the two thugs his back. The trigger was pulled, a bulled went threw the thug his spine and came out the other side, his neck. The second one had a club in his hands, he started screaming and making it all a big scene. His jabbering was put to a hold by a bullet between the eye's. "Have a good day" Raven nodded to wards the girl as she was crying and screaming. He threw the money for the items he bought on the desk and took off.
On his way back he heard the sirens calling out, but Raven kept on walking, he had more interesting things to do. With a beer in his hand, a meal and a hammer in his pockets he entered the warehouse. "Why o why do people keep on trying, ah well first a beer" He walked inside and picked up the mess that is little criminal made. "She did not even clean up". He put his stuff on the table and the meal in the microwave. His gun was ready in case his criminal had not left and came back for another fight.
During the time the man had been gone, Sara had discovered her weapons. The belt was now around her hip, with it’s gun, throwing knives, and the sais at the back. She’d also discovered her precious pouch from the jewelry store. The pouch, was carefully placed on the right front of her hip, tied by the draw string.
Sara had found a good vantage point above the door, purched on the rafters. These allowed her good access around the building, as long as she could walk the beams. Yes leaving was a good idea. He could take away her sight, something she had a high value for, but curiosity made her stay. Though, the thought of walking away had crossed her mind while she waited. Could he take any longer? What was he doing? Breeding the cow for the calf he intended to eat?
Sara was rocking back and forth on her heals, trying to figure out if she had time to take another nap, before Blinky returned, when there were foot steps at the door. Her movement instantly halted, and her breath caught in the back of her mouth. Her body instantly going into a hunter type mode. Her heart rate increased and her ears felt like they opened up farther, to better hear herself and the other man, Blinky. Aware of every sound that resonated inside the room or outside.Annoying sirens
"She did not even clean up"
Oh look who was talking about manners. Sara’s lips tightened as she followed his movement, Edging herself along the railing of the rafters, and working to stay in cross sections where she could easily duck behind the crosses of thick wood, but still see him.
Well if he was that worried about manners they could share what he brought. Sara smiled at that thought. She could get the beer, and he could get the bottle. As far as the food she could smell? Well that was clearly just going to her hers. Plate and all.
Sara stalked over to the beams that were directly above the man’s head. The smile still on her face. Well if she wanted food, now was the time. She grasped a vertical beam, and swung down, behind the man, Blinky, and around it, with her legs the farthest out. She’d tried to hook one leg around the front of his neck with the point of the other leg’s knee pressing into the back of his neck. While this was meant to choke, it wasn’t meant as a kill move. Sara was a thief, not an out right killer. (If you decide she was successful.) As Sara’s weight came down, she used her legs to support his neck, even though she was squeezing his neck.
“Think I’m rude about not cleaning up. You didn’t buy me a drink.” She began reaching for the beer. “Or was this for me after all.”
Raven was preparing his frozen meal for a hungry stomach, and with a handy twist of bottle cap his beer was now open. He went for a zip, but a pair of hairy warm legs came out of nowhere squeezing his Adams apple in wards. The legs are from his furry criminal but that she staid he couldn't believe.
“Think I’m rude about not cleaning up. You didn’t buy me a drink.” She began reaching for the beer. “Or was this for me after all.”
Raven found the comment funny though useless. Raven took a hold of gun and while his head was beginning to turn red, he pointed the gun over over his shoulder in a split second, letting the barrel squeeze in her thigh.
Outside a car stopped, apparently the girl from the store gave his description to the cops, the unthankfull bitch. Something knocked on the door, and a fat squeaky voice yelled if there was somebody home.
It was times like this, that was the reason why Sara adorned herself in black leather pants. Because landing on hard floors didn’t feel good, even with fur as some padding. Leather was just another layer that protected her skin from being grafted in the middle of action. Her attack had been successful and the fact that this one was so sure of himself to begin with, well, that just made the small smile on Sara’s lips spread as she drank part of his beer.
The movement of the gun made Sara’s right eye brow raise. Oh that’s right. Sara though as she grabbed for the barrel, using the leverage to try and twist the bang bang side, so that it as pointed towards he head. Get another fire arm within reach of a cat, holding a beer bottle, who could be on the edge. Good move there. While, yes, Sara would get burned if he pulled the trigger, he would have to shoot while pointing the gun at his own head. (If her move was successful.) Sara was a healer. A little healing would be a small price.
At the knock on the door, Sara let her legs squeeze down on the man’s wind pipe a little harder. “Did something happen while I was out, that I should know about?”
