The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

(OOC: You should email the mods and they could probably set it up. You may not even have to do a thread with Tricity. But you should ask)
Streak listened to her. She was getting more excited with each and every possibility he presented to her. Her ideas were great also and she even thought about their use in a practical situation. He was more interested in actual sport than any practical uses. However, Fade had managed to see those uses and brought them to his attention. There were probably more instances than he could count where he had been thrown in certain situations where knowing some of these things would have been helpful. Of course he could also see himself being put in those situations again. "Ya I didn't even think about them being useful in real life situations." Streak said to her.
((yeah, I am gonna send an email, but currently I am working from my phone so it is hard to send out messages or do too much. Once I get my laptop, all is well))
Although Streak had not thought much about the possibility of using the class as a sort of training class, Fade had came up with the idea because she did some crazy escape sports just trying to get out of a bad situation. "See? I mean for those mutants that can't use their sports knowledge in the Olympics because we're considered cheaters, they can use it to help save their lives. I mean, if they chose to become X-Men, we are put in life-threatening situations, some experience would be a good idea, I mean, more experience than training," she suggested. Training was different because the object of the course was to have fun and do some crazy sports, not train. Still, knowing what to do when you're falling from some high surface or being able to hold your breath when plunged under water is a good thing to have. She wished she had classes prior to her crazy escapades.

“Yer absolutely right. That’s true and it’d be a great change of pace from fighting scenarios.” Streak said, agreeing completely with Fade. “It’d also open up a lot of opportunities and allow us, as X-Men, to get the upper hand with more stealthy means. Like, instead of just dropping in on someone or breaking in, we could always choose a different way to get the information. And knowing ho to do these sports would be great for all of us to know. And who knows, if it turns out well we could train the X-men before we put it into a class.” Streak said.
The possibilities seemed endless. With all the technology currently available they would be able to do almost everything possible. Even if some of the sports were designed specifically for Special Ops groups that would stop the X-men, or their class, from learning these tricks. “When does the training turn into a real life experience? Is it only when they’d be put in danger?” He stopped talking for a second. Streak really wanted to start this class. He thought that it would get a lot of hits. “Ya know…” He said as a smile crept across his face, “We have to try these things out before we can teach it to anyone right? And by my count, we have a lot to try out. Maybe we should start pretty soon. And here’s another thing. If Tricity doesn’t approve it we could still probably teach it to the X-men or we could do it ourselves.” This was going to be a fun class. He was sure of that.
The two were pumping out ideas quickly and Fade loved it. It was exciting. Although she did feel a slight yawn creeping up her spine, she supressed it. Yawning could wait for later. Right now, the adults were talking. "Yes, I mean, it wouldn't be just in situations of immediate danger, but stealth missions. The children would learn new things that would help them be easier to train when they got older. I mean, children also need to know how to escape certain situations, well, not really children, you know what I mean."
At the mention that the two should possibly test out some of the ideas, Fade got a large smirk to creep across her face. Oh man, she would absolutely love to practice before presenting her ideas. "Well, you free tomorrow to go do something wild? What do you think: sky diving? Free diving?" She asked, of course she was getting herself pumped up for this, she had always wanted someone to go do this kind of stuff with, and not just for missions, just cause.

Streak was enjoying the ideas they were throwing around. Although there was something that Fade said that didn't sound right with him. 'Easier to train when they got older'? what did she mean by that. He hadn't thought that at the mansion they were training them to live dangerous lives. He thought that there they were learning about their powers. Sure he did a lot of fighting scenarios, by himself and with others, but that was because his powers worked mostly physically. Shawn put that thought aside for now. He was going to bring that up later.
"As far as I know my schedules free tomorrow. So I'm game for whatever ya want to do to try out for the kids. Now would this be the real thing or the Danger Room?" Streak asked. Either way the thought of sky diving or free diving promised to be exciting. However, Streak did think that the real thing was probably a lot cooler than anything they could come up with in the Danger Room. Now was probably not the best time for him to bring up the 'easier to train' comment. He could bring it up a little later.
"Well I was thinking the Danger Room, we can just try something out there. The Danger Room can do all sorts of different sessions. I mean, I started out there as, of course, training for my powers and my abilities and then I used it out in the field when I needed to," Fade had a feeling that she was trailing her words and sounding more and more tired, but she was trying to keep all of her words normal...for lack of better word. The thoughts of her Daner Room memories flooded her mind and she tried her hardest to hide her smile, but it actually came out as a yawn, which was not any better.
Stretching out, she finished up her yawn and smiled, sort of curling up in the couch cushions underneath her. "I was thinking we should get some sleep tonight, and you should get some sleep too. Then tomorrow, we should do the Danger Room routine, I'm starting to mix up what I'm talking about and being all tired. I dunno," she stopped talking, thinking that she was just digging herself in a deeper hole.
((I'm kinda brain farted out in this thread, would you like to move to the Danger Room?))

(OOC: Sounds like a good idea to me)
"Ok Danger Room it is." Streak said to her. Fade started to look tired. She wasn't making much sense. He decided to chalk up the comment she'd made a minute or so ago up to tiredness. Her yawn was infectious. Streak couldn't help but stifle a yawn as well. Streak smiled as she curled up on the couch. "I'll get some sleep later and meet ya in the Danger Room."
He sat there for a minute and just watched Fade fall asleep. He wasn't sure why he was doing this and so finally he decided that it was better to leave. And that's what he did. Streak walked into the kitchen and grabbed a coke and some snacks and walked back down to the War Room where he continued the continuous watch over the mansion.
