The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Great, he had obviously never seen The Outsiders. While she lived in the Mall, she used to watch movies every night, just rent them out from the Walmart downstairs. Slightly embarassed, her cheeks reddened, but she increased the size of her smile to cover it up. His humorous egotistical statement kept her from blushing.
"Well good, I could learn a few tricks. You know how to climb things like a spider?" Honestly, Fade did not know how she could teach Streak how to jump around from walls to ceilings and such if he did not have claws. Then again, it was polite to ask. Maybe her training programs were limited to her, but she would love to see someone climb around her Danger Room jungle gym, or rather stumble through it. Well, then again, she shouldnt laugh when thinking about someone going through her training program when she would probably look ridiculous if she ever did anyone else's training program.

"Like a spider? No. But I'm sure that I could learn it pretty well, with a few modifications, if you taught me." Streak said. Flattery always seems to work with people no matter who they are. Since he always learned things pretty fast he already had an idea of how he would be able to climb the walls. Mostly everyone seemed to pick up the things that he taught them rather fast. Judging from what he'd gathered from just talking with her she would have caught onto things pretty fast and they would move pretty fast through a lot of the self defense moves that he'd have planned for her.
He cast a glance around the room as he bought time of what to say. He started to wonder what her training simulations looked like. If she usually spent some time climbing on walls and things like Spiderman did then it would definitely be an interesting time for Streak. Of course he could fly so he would probably just do that instead. Although if she was talking about climbing walls he would definitely try to climb a wall one way or another. Finally he thought if something. "If you do so much wall climbing does that mean that ya do a lot of rock climbing?" It was a stupid question he knew that but rock climbing is a lot of fun and so he thought that if she did that she'd be in pretty good shape and have a lot of practice that prepares her for climbing walls.
"Rock climbing? Hmm, I haven't even thought about that," she actually put her fingers on her chin as if she were a man with a beard that was thinking deeply. How had she never gotten into rock climbing? "I dont think rock climbing would really work. If you mean by not doing any phasing, my claws would get in the way. I mean, i can rock climb, but not in the traditional way," she shrugged.
Rock climbing? The randomness of the question hit her offguard and the redhead could not help but fire back with another random question, "do you cliff dive?" Then again, Fade always wanted to try cliff diving but they dont exacty have a cliff divering class at the Mansion, which made her think. "Hey, speaking of which, this Mansion should have an extreme sport class. What do you think? Cliff diving, moutain climbing, white water rafting, parachuting? I would join that class. Hell, I would teach it," she smirked.

"I meant rock climbing in the mutant way for you. Not the normal way." Ahh the randomness had revived their conversation. Streak was happy at that. Cliff diving huh? Well that does sound like fun. "I only cliff dive if there's bullets flying at me." Streak said smartly. Of course he was kidding and he'd never actually thought about cliff diving before. "Actually I've never thought about cliff diving." He said honestly. Her thoughts and statements intrigued him. An extreme sports class. That would be sweet. Wait why was he thinking this. He should just tell her that. "Well now that yer back I don't see any problem with ya teaching a class. I would be the first to sign up for it in fact. And if you were the teacher I'd even be yer experiment. Teachers pet for lack of a better term." Streak told her.
This was an interesting proposition that she'd brought up. "I'd help ya teach it if ya needed. And since I think we'd have such an interest in an extreme sports class I think ya'd need the help with the size of the classes." He said to her. "I think you should take that proposition up with Tricity. I think she'd really go for it and so would all the older students and X-Men." This was a much better conversation they could discuss so many things for this class that Fade might teach if she brings it up to the right people. "I think that's a great idea Fade, really." Streak said. "Of course there'd have to be an age limit for the class don't ya think?"
He spoke of cliff diving as an evasive manuevar from bullets. "So I bet you'd have one hell of a Cops episode if you cliff dive from bullets," she shrugged, imagining him flying down these great cliffs with a few cursing cops at the top, trying to hit him with a measly hand gun. It brought an interesting mental picture. Surprisingly enough, well, really not that surprisingly, Streak agreed that an extreme sports class would be a great idea. "You'd better bring me apples before every class, but i like green ones," she joked.
The thought of actually starting the class excited her, it would be a fun experience. Then again, that could be simulated in the Danger Room...but not in class form. Since the redhead could not read, she'd have to watch instructional videos, but she'd done a few of her own extreme sports, like climbing the Empire State building, that was fun. Also, there would be no papers to grade, since she couldn't figure out what they said anyways. "That actually sounds like a cool idea!" she exlaimed, getting herself excited. "We should bring it up with Tricity!"
"Well, of course there would be an age limit, but what were you thinking? 17? We still want it to be for students. And plus, we can have some of the older X-Men be there to make sure nothing goes wrong. Like a flying mutant to save anyone that didn't succeed in sky diving, and a water mutant to help with white water rafting, and such. It'd be for both the older mutants and the younger ones. Sounds like fun," she rubbed her hands together and clapped, stereotypical 'lets get this show on the road' kind of attitude.

"Could you imagine the ratings that show would get if something like that happened?" Streak said thinking aloud. Since he'd be in the show he wouldn't watch it but he would like to see what it would look like in slow motion. "I'd be like triple X, when Vin Diesel runs the car off the bridge and jumps out of it with a parachute and leaves the cops at the top of the bridge." Streak said smiling. He was mainly joking but it was a cool thing to imagine. He was sure that he would get some repercussions for that from Tricity or someone if that really did happen.
Streak laughed, "Yes Miss Fade." he said in a little kid sounding voice. "I'll get ya some apples if ya want. But if we pull this off ya owe me." Streak said leaving the sentence a little open ended on purpose and with a smile on his face. "I agree. But I don't think Tricity will approve it if we wake her up at this time of night." Streak said being realistic. They'd probably have to work out some of the kinks before they took it to the headmistress of the school. Although he somehow doubted that Tricity would not approve this idea. He thought that she might even want to join in. He'd help Fade out with whatever she needed to get this class off the ground.
"I was thinking a little younger. Maybe 14? 15?" Streak suggested. "We want to make sure that they are young enough to remain your students for a few years, but old enough to decide if they're physically able to do the sports." Streak said. That would be the deciding factor with them. It all depended on that. Most of the students there would be smart enough to figure out if it was something they could handle or if they would want to handle everything this class would dish out. "We could even take them to actual places instead of just making it simulations in the Danger Room. We could have like a class in the Danger Room to teach them how to do it and then take them out for the real thing." Streak offered the suggestions to Fade. He figured she could use all she could get especially because this was a new class and she would be setting this up from scratch.
The image of Vin Diesel parachuting off of a bridge, escaping from cops broke through her mental image of Streak jumping off a cliff. It was a slightly more...bald... image than the one she had been toying with earlier. "Although I'm pretty sure the show Cops is supposed to highlight that you can't escape from the cops, no matter what you try. I don't think they'd air a successful escape," she thought outloud. It would defeat the purpose of the show, but ratings would go up if they followed this escapee for a few episodes. Cliff-hangers always brought back viewers.
When he mentioned a much younger age than Fade had initially suggested, she smiled. There most certainly were more mutants at the school that had enough power to do extreme sports when their older human companions could not suffice. "13 or 14 would be better. You're right, we want returning students. And Tricity can hear about it in the morning...if we make it to morning," she joked. Then again, with the pace they were going, morning would come shortly.
"Danger Room practice then take them out? That sounds like a really good idea! We don't want to throw them out of an airplane before they even know how to work a parachute," she shrugged, but it was more for humor. "Kinda jealous I came up with this instead of someone before me, when I was younger at this school," she laughed. "But teaching it would be even more fun cause I set up the classes based on what I want to do," she lied. Honestly, she'd make the class fit everyone's needs, it just needed a schedule and oh...what else? STUDENTS!

Now that the creative juices were flowing they were really handing out ideas about what they could do with the class if it got approved. Of course the occasional humor was thrown in here and there but he knew that they were just for fun and he was sure that they were going to have a blast preparing this class. "That's true they probably wouldn't show it. But I'd still love to see it no matter how much of a man hunt it put on." Fade had mentioned a younger age than even he'd suggested. It wasn't his call on the right age for the kids to be allowed to join the class.
"I think it'll be a pretty interesting experience. I haven't had the chance to do a lot of those. Most of my experiences have been a result of 'Oh boy they're after me. Better fly.' type of experience." Streak said joking a little bit. He didn't exactly go looking for trouble, however, he always seemed to be unfortunate enough for trouble to find him. And whenever trouble found him that meant that he had to get out in one way or another. That way usually entailed him doing a little bit of extreme sports that people pay big money for just to get out of one situation or another.
Streak proceeded to talk about how he ended up in extreme sports situations, whic did not seem like they would be much fun when you're on the run. However, she had a few fun experiences while she was trying to dodge the police. "Oh man, so once these cops had infrared and they were trying to arrest me, so i grabbed a skateboard," rather took one from a kid on the street that had it strapped to his backpack, "and grabbed onto a car with my claws. I can't even begin to tell you how much fun that was," she sighed, reliving the memory.
Ever had a crazy experience while escaping from a situation? We need some original ideas, although i think car skateboarding is a little too risky." A mental image of some kids falling off the backside of a car quickly changed her opinion on this whole originality idea. Then again, her fellow istructor may have had a few more fun yet not near death experiences that would make great ideas.

"Ya car skateboarding is a little too risky and a little too 'Back to the Future' ish." Streak said to her. The image was easy to capture actually because he didn't doubt for a second that she would do such a thing to get away from the cops. "Man why didn't I ever think of that. Oh, that's right there's never any cars or skateboards around whenever I'm in trouble. That's odd." Streak said thinking about his past experiences with the law or other battles.
Streak thought and thought, and thought some more just for a change of pace. Finally he said, "What is an extreme sport without the possibility of near death?" Streak said smiling at her. Of course he was teasing her but the truth was that no matter what sport you did, if you were trying to do an extreme sport you always ran the risk of death... Or so he thought. "If you think about it, skydiving...your parachute could not open and splat. Whitewater kayaking, you could drown. Etcetera etcetera." Streak said. What he was telling her made him think that she would back out of the teaching idea. He hoped that wasn't the case and that she would understand that the students would be undertaking this class at their own risk. Of course they would be there to make sure that no one died but injury was a major possibility with these classes.
"My real name: Marty McFly," she whispered. "And you're my father, so you best not check the name on these panties," she pointed to her hip, well, you get the idea. Michael J. Fox did do amazing at that role and she wondered what it would be like in his situations, except traveling to the past with her powers and seeing how people would react. If they flipped a nut over the mutant situation in the new millinium, who how much they'd twist their Calvin Klein panties over mutants back then. Yet, if she really did travel back in time and speak to her father, it would be the first time.
Come to think of it, she never even had a picture of her family, never even knew their first names. Did she have her mother's eyes and her father's smile? Doubted, her eyes changed color whenever she blinked. Were either of her parents mutants? Was her kidnapping just a child kidnapping, or was it an act of human supremists? The questions began racing through her mind and she had to make them stop, she could no longer live in the past, there was a reason she did not ask the police what her parents' names were when she was recovered. There was the possibility that she did know her parent's names, that the cops that found her and told her what happened to them actually spelled it out for her, but she refused to think about it. Her last name was not McFly, it was McCulloch, or something like that.
"Deep sea diving? Um, what about teddy bear dodgeball? I'm sure that would be a hit amongst the children! A player gets out when they hit someone in the head. We'd never tell Millie about it, don't worry," Fade winked. Millie was the little one that always carried a teddy bear around with her, hugging him as tightly as possible no matter what was occurring. Throwing the teddy bear at an opponent did not exactly sound like Millie's version of a fun game.

"Ohh Deep sea diving. That'd be really cool." Streak said thinking about where they could dive. Suddenly an idea popped into his head. An idea so great that his head would explode if he even began to know what he was talking about. But enough Family Guy references. He thought the idea was so good that he couldn't keep it to himself. "Ya know we could use the blackbird to get transport the students wherever we were going to be going to perform the sport. Of course we could also paint it yellow and then it'd look like a flying school bus." Streak joked a little.
However, he was serious about using the blackbird for transportation. Other than that he didn't know of any other way to get people to the places that they had in mind. "Oh oh what about HALO jumps. Those would be sweet. And talk about extreme." The silver eyed man was mainly joking around but he had to admit that that would be fun. Along with a lot of the other stuff that they'd been discussing. "What about free diving?" Streak asked unsure of whether she knew what it was or not. Although their conversation had been going on for a while they were still pretty well on track. He was surprised at that because usually things went off topic and turned really weird. Oh well it all depended on the conversation it seemed.
The suggestion of using the Blackbird sounded like a wonderful idea and Fade agreed to use it for transportation. "Yeah, we can use the Blackbird until we master that beaming technique Star Trek invented, I don't feel like catching up to their Stardate when we finally come up with the equation," she joked. "And the yellowbird? Doesn't sound as catchy, but that is funny." A school bus that could fly sounded really funny, it was like the X-Men's version of the Magic Schoolbus. "We should have our own theme song for this. And does Mutant High even have a mascot?"
Unfortunately, she did not know what free diving was. "What is that? I mean, costs will be included in the fee that covers admission into Mutant High, right? I am sure there will be some sort of minimal cost, but we have the money, right?" She asked, confusing the meaning of 'free diving'. "We could go to the mediterrean. What if we had a light mutant that could bring us down to that pitch black section of the ocean, see a few sights that no one else can brag about, you know?" Underwater sight seeing was actually a very intruiging thought to Fade and she wondered if they would even run into Atlantis during one of their classes, that would be a highly rewarding find. They only needed approval, then the two could start the class, but instead of manuels, she hoped there were instructional videos since she could not read. He could take care of writing stuff up on the board, but Fade would not let anyone know of her uneducated past, hopefully she did not even have to tell Streak. Only Tricity really knew, everyone else just avoided asking too many questions.

Fade continued talking about plans for their class. He wasn't going to be to keen on being a teacher also, with everything else that he was doing; however, he did want to help as much as he could. "Yup the yellowbird. A mascot? I always figured that the mutants themselves were the mascots." Streak said joking a little. "As far as I know the school doesn't have a mascot or anything like that." Streak thought of the best way to explain free diving.
"What's what? Free diving? It's a lot of things but it's best know for the competitions. Basically free diving is diving without any SCUBA tank. It's all about how long you can hold yer breath underwater. Many of the divers are able to slow their heart rates down really low so that their body uses the oxygen that they take in slower than someone like me or you would if we were going to do the same thing. There's more to it but that's all I know about it right now." Streak said. He was sure that this would inform her about it. "We wont have to worry about costs with that one. The biggest thing we'd have to worry about is having people's lungs explode from not exhaling when they come to the surface. Or getting the bends. Neither are very pleasant I'm sure. Oh driving submersibles would be fun too." Streak said to her.
"Maybe we could just have Sarah as our mascot," she laughed. The girl was fun, she liked her, but she did kind of look like mascot material. "I think we should just have a giant X as our mascot, it pretty much seems like we already do. So the mascot thing is out and we've got a magic blackbird," she laughed a bit at the thought again, "now just need some students...oh and of course, Tricity's approval."
The two had been talking nonstop, jumping back and forth between topics, it was amazing when she realized how much time had passed and how she did not mind in the least bit. She could stay up for the next ten hours just talking to Streak about all of this random stuff. The guy was hot, funny, and smart, not to mention a good conversation holder. Although she seriously doubted they would make it ten hours straight, just an overexaggeration. "So SCUBA diving without the SCUBA? That would be fun. I mean, I don't know how long I will be able to last doing that, but I'd most certainly give it a try. You're right, that would reduce our cost. Also, do you notice how alot of these extreme sports could actually help us in real live situations? I think it's also a great training experience. I mean, think about it, if the students really are plunged under water in any given situation, they would know how to react, or if they had to jump out of a plane, you know we do some serious and crazy missions around the world. It's a good experience and also a good train."
