I've put together some ideas around a charity community event for Sanctuary, drawing in numerous groups. I've got ideas here and I'll say again, these are ideas so they can change, certain parts not happen, etc. Take a look below, comment, suggest, etc.

BASIC PLOT

Devon organizes a charitable party event (maybe block party) at Sanctuary. Foods, decorations, and entertainment are all donated as Devon/other volunteers puts together an ad pamphlet for the invitations and media. Attendees are either donating their money, time, or some other form of contribution in order to attend. All current residents or community members are allowed to attend as well. It's one part publicity of what Sanctuary stands for but also charity involvement.

THEME

Intrigue. This is not intended to be a long term or violent plot but one that can help spur numerous others. Those wishing to learn about others, gather information, meet others, set up future plots, gather recruits, etc. would benefit from this plot.

MOOD

Tense. Rising violence, antimutant relations, the promise of Utopia, various groups recognizing they're at one place, the old Order base, and even interpersonal drama will create a tense mood for most PCs.

OOC GOALS

• Interaction of many different groups and characters that commonly don't interact.
• EDIT: Working toward Sanctuary getting considered a neutral territory by the various factions
• Way for various factions to recruit.
• More volunteers and contributions for Sanctuary
• Introduction of a criminal/mob group in Brooklyn to provide non-META bot NPC antagonists for future use.

DATE OF ARRIVAL

I'm thinking this would be held during 9/6 - 9/24 Utopia timeline.

Other threads could be used for people in private locations. We'd have many areas locked during the part but that doesn't mean people won't get in...

Messaged Chief about possible links of the Mob to the bar Chrysalis.

When Lori was with the Order, their biggest competition was Russian mob. I could easily see them as the ones to want to fill that void.

Pros: established ic as anti-mutant and ripe for the picking & brutal and varied ooc inspiration

Cons: no established NPCs to steal

Take it or leave it. Just throwing it out as an option. <3

I would love to get Jack in this thread! I haven't really established Chrysalis as having a sketchy underbelly IC'ly yet but it is an eventual hope of mine. Maybe Chrysalis could provide beverages at the event (since they have strong mutant-friendly vibes and, well, alcohol) and due to the owner's own personal interests.

I would be down to have Jack there as just an attendee, or as security for the booth, a bodyguard, whatever.

So long post short, I'm in. Haha

Sounds like a fun way to have a bunch of smaller threads with people I've been meaning to thread with for ages. Count me in. Plus I like the idea of getting enough people from each faction together to make them seriously reconsider any thoughts of starting a fight, even if they do recognise each other.

PM'd you at possible Judgement Day involvement. They're capable of being more subtle than what I've suggested in the PM. They like using non-mutant criminal proxies so it would make sense.

Mentioned it in the cbox, but gonna say it here as well, to make it official..kinda.

Because of his history with Sanc, Kaz would be willing to help out, not by volunteering, but with a monetary donation.

And that is much appreciated by Devon (and me OOC for purposes of the thread) as will the chance to talk with a founding Order member. Maybe it'll come up in the bar/open thread but if not, certainly could at Sanctuary.

I'm thinking I'll throw both my characters in for the hell of it. Victor will probably be in the Dining Room for the Utopia discussion and Alex will be in the Street/Yard for the fun.
