Aiden untied the ropes that bound the mutant and led him out of the room. "I wouldn't advise running away. You'll only end up hurting yourself." The mutant didn't say much of anything. Aiden figured he was in shock from being rescued.
Before they left the hallway, Aiden grabbed a few of the pistols the guards had been carrying. They didn't have much use for them anyway. His tiger transformation was effective, but it certainly lacked in the range department.
Through the earpeice, the shifter spoke, " I hope you're still alive. I've captured the dragon. I'm headed out toward the kitchen exit right now. Meet me at the car as soon as you can. Or make you own way." Aiden turned to the Colombian mutant, "Alright, let's get you out of here."
The hallways were free of guards fortunately. As they entered the kitchen they saw the workers that had not fled cowering behind tables and cabinets. Aiden barely gave them a second thought as the two of them passed through the door to the outside.
The two mutants arrived at the car without any resistance surprisingly. The brute must be drawing all the attention to him. Aiden didn't complain. It certainly made his job easier.

Aiden had been prepared for everything. Everything but what happenned. The wind elemental was now focusing her attack only on Sam. For which he was very grateful. But he wondered why. Then he knew. It was Arielle. The elemental obviously trusted her judgement about the strange mutant that she had brought home more than Sam.
The shifter could not figure out Sam's relationship between the two women though. It was obviously something more than acquaintanceship but how much more? Aiden wasn't bout to question his good fortune.
Arielle was asking questions that Aiden didn't want to answer. Questions that he never wanted her to know the answers to. "It's complicated. I'll try and explain everything later. This really isn't the best time." He said motioning to Sam.
At the mention of TAT with Sam's last breath, Aiden wanted to claw his eyes out. The nerve of him. The less everyone knew about them the better. What would have happenned if one of the two women had recognized the name? Nothing good, that's what. "Is he going to be alright?" Aiden asked hoping for a no to the question.

After waiting the table and carrying drinks, Aiden had just about had it. His partner had almost blown their cover. He certainly drew more than enough attention to himself. If the mutant had actually been dead from the bullet, Aiden would have thought he got what he deserved. He was entirely too brazen for the shifter's way of thinking.
The feline mutant decided it was time. He walked past the table that 'Aussie Aces' was sitting at. He glanced at a man's cards just before he left the room with an alibi of getting more drinks. But after he exited the doors he turned right which was not the way to the kitchen.
The shifter spoke into his radio as he walked. "The man sitting across from you with the nose ring is bluffing. He only has a two of spades and a five of diamonds." Aiden knew he wouldn't get a reply unless the giant wanted his cover blown. But judging by his earlier actions, Aiden didn't entirely rule it out.
His walk lead him to a hallway that contained at four guards standing in front of a door. This must be the place. Still carrying a tray full of drinks, the shifter walked up to the men and offered them some. The men were overconfident, and therefore met with death.
A broken glass cup took one in the lung, another had a broken neck, the last two had their throats ripped out by a pair of tiger's claws. The door was locked by a card key slot but after a quick search on each of the guards the desired card key was found and used. The door swung open to reveal a dimly lit room with a man tied to a chair.
The shifter looked at the man with his feline eyes. He certainly matched the description of the package. The feline mutant could not tell that with the brightness of the hallway behind him, his eyes let of a eery glow. The man tied to the chair wimpered slightly as he entered.
"I guess it's time to get you out of here," said Aiden.

"Hmm...that's dissappointing. That was my orginal plan, was to take you to a trough for dinner. My wallet is starting to get thin," he said jokingly. Aiden ordered the lamb as well.
"You would think I would be the one more prone to growls at random times. Look at you. Maybe I'm starting to wear off on you. Or you're just more of an animal than I realized. And dessert sounds delicious. "How do you feel about the trip so far?"

"Sounds good to me." Aiden couldn't remember ever remembering so blissfully happy. The girl who was snuggled underneath his arm was to blame. She had turned his world upside down and made him like it. "No more than I."
Eventually the ride ended though, Aiden gave the driver his fare and led Arielle out of the vehicle and into the restaurant. It was a nice place. They did not even have to wait as a waiter came up to them and led them to a table. Aiden ordered a water and read the menu. "I know it's not a McDonalds but is this ok?"

Arielle was suddenly in front of Aiden with her arms wrapped around him apologizing for the way her friends were acting. Aiden couldn't believe the girl. He was deeply touched by her promise. He had always been on his own before then. The thought of her companionship wasn't entirely unpleasant either.
Aiden imagined that she must feel very confused right now. What with him and Sam attacking each other and now her friend trying to get rid of him. He couldn't think of a situation that he had been through that was quite like this. And yet she was still standing in front of him. Protecting him from people she knew better than she knew him.
Something nagged at him though. Arielle said she knew both of them. How could she know Sam. Unless he infiltrated this school in hopes to get to him. But that would have had to been in the last couple of days. It was all to entangled for Aiden to unravel at the moment.
What he did understand was that Sam was now advancing toward him and Arielle. The shifter wasn't going to let Sam lay his hands on her. Not now, not ever. Aiden changed positions so that Arielle was now behind him and he was in between her and Sam. "It's ok. Everything's going to be fine," he said trying to reassure her.
The shifter was too tired for the full transformation. So he settled for simply his arms and legs. That way he could still maintain his human process of thought and not have it lost among his more basic, bestial urges. Sam still came on. Aiden tensed up in a crouching stance to protect Arielle from him.

The invisible blow to the chest came out of no where. At first the weretiger thought that Sam had managed to get a strike in unawares. But that would not have been possible for the shifter's attention was focused completely on it's opponent. It could not have been caught unawares so easily.
Having the breath knocked out of it, the weretiger went into shock and receeded. The result was Aiden's body changing back into it's human state. From his hands and knees, Aiden breathed as deeply as he could trying to get the air back into his lungs.
"Come back when you can behave."
"This doesn't concen you. Leave us alone and go on about your business," said Aiden to the new arrival. He was quite annoyed with her for stopping their brawl.
Aiden made ready for the weretiger to take over again. He was certainly more tired than he ever had been after a transformation. It was in part due to the totalness of the weretiger's control during this particular transformation. And the suddeness as well.
Whatever the strength of the two former agents' powers from their days fighting together, Aiden knew that Sam had gained more strength than he had since each of their respective escapes. Aiden was not about to lose this fight though. Not to Sam. Not to anyone.

The feline mutant slowed as Arielle flowed in front of Sam and stopped. The ice elemental seemed to not like that too much for he froze her over. That only fueled the weretiger's rage even more. Urging the feline to even greater speed and strength than was normal for it.
The shifter noted the pin pricks of ice now covering the ice elementals armor. It knew that it could no longer attack him directly as long as those spikes protruded. The weretiger still had hopes of overpowering the weaker mutant though.
The weretiger launched itself at Sam. Their hands locked together just as the shifter had planned. And now began the struggle of strength between the two former agents. OOC: Enter the Ghost

The shifter knew that with it's thick coat along with the collaboration of it's body mass that it's internal temperature would remain fairly constant. If Sam decided to lower the temperature of the surrounding area in hopes to make the weretiger more sluggish then he would have a surprise coming. The shifter would have thought that Sam already would have known that. But I hoped that he would still waste his energy in an attempt at the least.
The ice elemental had created a pathetic wall in an attempt to impede the advance of the weretiger. The feline mutant proved it was the quicker though by reacting immediately to the new obstacle. The barrier was nullified when the weretiger's leg exploded with motion and leapt over it to land safely on the other side.
The shifter evaluated the new obstacle of the now ice covered ground as well as the frozen stalagmites. It took less than a second for the weretiger to renew it's motion while devising a way to overcome this new test. The feline mutant sprinted around the outer edge of the frozen parameter.
Unless Sam wanted to surround himself completely with the frozen spikes there would be no way for him to protect himself from the flanking maneuver that Aiden was performing. The weretiger would be on him before he knew what hit him.
The familiar female voice rang in the head of the feline mutant. It caused the weretiger to slow down slightly. The more human part of the animal gained a new level of rational thinking. Damn it Arielle. Do as Sam says. Get in the Mansion now!
Of course the only sound that came from the weretiger's mouth was an unintelligible growl. Part of it was the 'kitty' remark by the ice elemental. He should have known better than to taunt a weretiger. But that insult caused the weretiger to take control again, burying Aiden's thought in animalistic brutality after they had resurfaced.
The pause in the weretiger's gait from Arielle's voice put the timing of the flanking maneuver off. The weretiger was no longer certain the plan would work due to the interference of the more human side of it's personality. But it was confident enough to keep pressing it's attack.
Having circled the barrier of frozen spikes, the weretiger ran and launched itself at it's opponent. There would be blood this day. But this beast had every intention of making sure that none of the blood belonged to it.

"Funny. I was just about to say the same thing. About any man making a move toward you that is. I wouldn't mind at all if we started again. But after that, I don't know if I'll have any bodily fluids left in me. But I guess I'll succumb to your wishes just this once." Aiden smiled at that. He knew that if she wanted for anything, she would get it.
The feline mutant followed her out of the room and into the elevator. He thought about smothering her with kisses just then. They were the only ones who were in the elevator. Besides they were both adults. But he thought better of it. Arielle was right. they needed food.
As they exited the hotel lobby, a light gust of wind flew by them causing goosebumps down Aiden's arms. The weather had taken a turn for the worse it seemed. And it would probably last for the rest of their weekend.
A taxi was already waiting for them by the front door of the hotel. As they got in Aiden asked the driver where a good place to eat would be found. The driver offered them several options. Turning to Arielle, Aiden said "Where do you want to go?"

(Two hours pass) Moving to stand next to Arielle in the mirror, Aiden wrapped his arms around her and kissed her neck softly. He then rested his head on her shoulder while looking at her reflection in the mirror. "I still haven't ripped a dress off of you yet," he said teasingly.

Sometime much later, Aiden was lying with his arms around Arielle. He was thinking of how beautiful she was. How wonderful she was. How amazing she was. How greatly he loved her. What she was doing to him from the inside out. And how he loved every minute of it.
"We didn't turn on the camera. I guess we'll have to try again," he said while grinning.
