The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Ty nodded, walking beside her as they went to the barn, this time together, now that he discovered it was safe. "We'll be fine," Ty reassured her. Pulling his shirt so it covered his nose, he followed her inside.
"Yeah...the smell blows, but there's a nice opening in the loft up there. And...as far as staying warm..." he blushed a little before adding the next part. "Well, there's only one blanket, so I hope you don't mind sharing. Just for a night, of course. If there were better options, I'd pick those. Unless you want to sleep in the car?" Ty shrugged, cracking a small smile.

It had been only a few hours since the letter arrived that Ty got it. Since he'd gotten Noel's package that one time, he'd made it a point to regularly check for mail, even though he rarely got anything. Today, a very curious--yet crudely wrapped--package and letter had his name on it. The letter was...well, visually it looked like a kindergartener had written it, but each word was so well chosen and almost poetic, even though he didn't have a clue what the writer was talking about. Tses...that had to be the girl from the park.
Ty sat on his bed, looking it over, and was joined by a little black fluffball, who rubbed her head against his hand. Setting the letter aside, he opened the package, petting the kitten as both pairs of eyes peered into the box. It looked like an oddly put together package of random assorted items. Earrings, a necklace, a tiger that looked much like his own, and a jacket.
Ty knew what he had to do, even if he was scared of what it might lead to. Pulling his glove off, he calmed his mind and grabbed the tiger. Nothing. For whatever reason, his power wouldn't work on it...So, he grabbed the jacket, and the result made him flinch, Mischief's claws digging into his leg as the headache came on.
He remembered everything now...well, more as a spectator, but he knew what he'd forgotten, and why he'd forgotten. Now, he saw both sides of the story, but mostly hers. He was such a jerk to her at times. He could never understand what she'd been through, because he'd never been there. But now he had somewhat of an idea. Quickly, the redhead pulled out his phone, scrolling through the contacts. Past Chloe, and Jacob, Kenzi, Noel, and Regan. Tses...
He hit Send, and the phone rang. "Tses? It's Ty...I...I remember now, and...I was stupid..."

Ty nodded, taking the card. To be honest, he could care less about this mutant spotter thing, but he found it hard to tell if Noel felt the same way or if she was really interested. If she was, he'd probably tag along for gits and shiggles, but she wasn't always as easy to read as he was. It was weird sometimes, living with someone like her. Especially because he was used to having the advantage of knowing someone's secrets. Noel was the one person whom he could hide nothing from.
Taking the card, Ty looked it over. "You mean they aren't plumbers?" he whispered to Noel, having way too much fun with the names. Ty looked at Noel's card once they left, seeing the cell number and the cute little XOXO.
"Heh...he's not getting any points that way," Ty murmured with a smirk when he was sure they were out of earshot.

Ty felt the very chill of her words, but as she left he didn't try to stop her. It would probably do as much good as it had the first time. His mouth felt dry and his heart was a lump in his throat. And the worst part of it was he really didn't know the half of it.
But what he did know was that he'd dug himself into a hole it would be nearly impossible to dig himself out of again.

Ty jerked back when she suddenly lashed out. Every word cut deep, every bit of hostility, even though he still didn't have the first clue who she was. He felt himself grow nauseous, taking a few steps back. "I don't know why I can't remember," he replied weakly. "I can't remember..."
The redhead bit his lip. "But...if I'm as bad as you say I was...then this is my second chance. Or maybe on the other hand...you just gave me a good reason to not remember..." Tears welled up in his eyes. "I tried to help you just now, even though I have no clue who you are. And all you did was verbally destroy me. Think about that next time you're alone...maybe then you'll figure out why..."

Where Kenzi's showed fear, Ty's eyes showed anything but. Hope, determination, faith. He looked to the barn, giving a small shrug. "Better than nothing. We can try again in the morning. Long as there are no headless horsemen or psycho-butchers in there, we'll at least be safe. And warm. Hey, I've done alot worse than barns," he said, looking at the positive.
"Yeah, that might be the best idea. I was leaning towards waking up tomorrow, jacking another car, and hightailing it home." He looked at their intended shelter, then back to Kenzi, and pulled out his knife. "I'll be right back. Gunna check out the place before we crash there, just in case."
With that, he turned and headed towards the barn, carefully opening the door and peeking inside. Ugh...it smelled of old hay and seemed to have been abandoned for years. The hay in question was piled up neatly, but definitely not fresh. Other than that, there didn't seem to be too much out of order. He found an old blanket on top of a crate, but that was about it.
Minutes later, he returned. "There's nothing in there, really. Some rotten hay, a blanket, some old crates, maybe some lanterns or a candle or two, and matches...We can make due, though."

"I did promise to return them," Ty said with a sheepish, not quite innocent smile on his face. The kid had to admit it was clever of Noel to take the opportunity to sell these two something. Oh yeah, it was a definite as to who was in charge here.
Mario...Luigi? Ty snorted, trying his best not to laugh his head off, but it came out as little squeaks. Biting his lip, he managed to choke down the laugh, letting his partner in crime handle the Mario brothers over there. Heh...
Handing the binoculars back, he stuffed his hands in his pockets, whistling a familiar tune. Well, familiar to those who played Nintendo back in the day.

Ty had missed the binoculars the guy in the fight had. The kid may have been great at spotting things in the past, but surveillance of the present was apparently beyond him.
"Heh...actually no," Ty said with a smirk. "Would you believe me if I told you all I did was promise to give 'em back?" With a nod, Ty removed his glove, touching the part of the binoculars Noel didn't lick, though he was sure he felt one of his fingertips brush her tongue. Before meeting her, things like that would have grossed him out. But now...it didn't really matter much.
Ty shook his head, releasing them. "They're fairly new. All I know is our friend's connected to the two knuckleheads...I'm out of my league on this one."
When the 'victim' of the 'attack' approached, Ty stayed quiet, subtly shooting Noel one of those 'What the hell are you up to?' looks. Then he realized....oh. Those binoculars...

Ty did feel pain as he looked at her face. How could he not? Something had hurt her, and something told him that he was the cause. The reason he forgot, even if he couldn't remember. But he had this sinking feeling that he screwed up. Badly.
"Wait," he pleaded as he walked after her, putting his hand on her shoulder. "I have this feeling...the look on your face says you were very much somebody...someone important. Somehow I feel like this is all my fault...I...please don't cry. That's just not fair." There was a flicker of something familiar in his face now. Concern. And the fact that he didn't want her to leave.
He never did want her to leave. Even now that he didn't have a clue who she was.

"Guy with--?" Oh, that guy. Not too far from them, but far enough away that he needed binoculars to see the whole fiasco. Ty wasn't sure what exactly taking binoculars would do aside from possibly start trouble with the owner, but...hey he had no plan, so he was just going to follow Noel.
Walking over to the guy, he noticed the expression on his face was less than amused. In fact it was more or less disgusted. When close enough, Ty snatched the binoculars from the man. "I'll give them back, I promise," Ty reassured the poor sap before heading back to Noel, hoping he'd take it okay.

It wasn't an accident. If Ty had any shred of memory from this left, he'd have thought it was the dumbest idea he'd ever made. But as it stood, he didn't even know. It was all just a blank.
"I'm sorry...I just....I can't place you." The awkward silence that followed this statement was so thick it could have been cut by a knife as it settled in like a fog.
"I wish there were something I could do..." he murmured softly.

Ty had to chuckle a little as she danced for her sandwich. It was honestly kind of adorable. "You're welcome~" he replied, watching as she ate. Yep, truly adorable.
What wasn't adorable was this freaking heat, or those idiots somewhere behind him. Ty's eyes met the memory-mancer's,and eh shrugged back, slightly shaking his head. "Gotta be," he answered dryly. "Neither of them even seem to be trying. It's pathetic," the redhead murmured. "But I'm half tempted to go show them what a mutant attack really looks like...."

Ty chuckled, sticking his tongue out at Noel. "Thanks. But how do you know I wouldn't take it as an excuse just to hold your hand?" Because the twenty-one year old troublemaker more than likely would try just that.
As Drake worked, Ty just waited, finally smiling when she showed him the finished drawing. "Heh...that is perfect. Just about exactly as I pictured it." He gave a nod, then took a breath. Now it was time for the fun part.

Ty quickly noticed that she didn't look too well. Something was wrong."You okay? You look like you just saw a ghost or something," the young man's eyes showed concern now, but still not much else. He still didn't remember the times his hand rested on those now pale cheeks, his fingers running through her hair, their lips meeting tenderly, or even their eyes locked on one another when having an all too common shouting match. Nothing...
The redhead blinked, looking confused at her question. "Huh? I'm sorry, but...I don't understand. I think you have me confused with someone else; I didn't do anything." He stepped closer. "You sure you gonna be okay?"
