The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Ty stopped right outside the mansion. This was it, apparently. This place was chock full of mutant kids with powers they needed help controlling, right? So maybe someone here could help him with his. He hoped, anyway. While Doc had been...enlightening...it didn't really do anything except pose more questions and leave him with even more trauma than he'd had before.
He tightened his black, studded fingerless gloves and stuffed his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket; he had to admit his 'alternate and/or older self' had good taste in clothing. This jacket was decorated with studs and chains, and went well with the black jeans and tennis shoes he usually wore. His icy blue eyes studied the mansion as he walked up to the door, his shaggy ginger hair blowing in the breeze.
He took a deep breath, masking his slight nervousness. He didn't know why, but this place gave him a weird feeling, like a mixture of deja vu and 'I'm not supposed to be here.' Oh well. Here goes nothing.
A gloved hand reached out, pulling open the door and stepping inside, keeping his head down as he looked for....someone. Hell, he didn't know who he was looking for, how to find someone he could help, or even what he'd do when he'd got here. He hadn't planned any farther than getting on the grounds.

"Oh, I am," he said, blushing a little deeper. "But a kiss is much better when the other person would freely give it, no? And honestly, I couldn't tell if you wanted it or not," he added with a sheepish smile. "Besides...I'd been enjoying this time together, and if I'd kissed you and you didn't want it...no more fun."
Deep down, Ty was a gentlemen. He'd never stolen from a female before and he didn't plan to start, even when kisses were concerned. God that was confusing. He blushed again, this time not making eye contact for a moment.
"Well, I'll be sure to make a note for next time?" he said with a smirk, trying not to squirm though he still felt rather awkward about this whole thing. He took a deep breath and put the car into reverse.
"Hey! What the **** are you kids doing?!?"
"****! Buckle up," Ty instructed as he hit the gas, and spun the wheel, turning the gigantic truck around and speeding off down the road, leaving the angry owner of the car standing there, pulling out his phone.
"Not the kinda excitement I wanted for the day. We should ditch this somewhere soon and make a break for it, he's calling the cops as we speak," Ty instructed, more confident now that he was back in his element.

"I missed that one, but in all fairness, considering the theories I've bounced around in my head about my power right now...anything is possible, right?" he said with a shrug.
"Not outside of my visions, no. But in the few scrambled sound bits I've gotten from them, the names Ty, Mr. Fisher and Roach get tossed around alot. It's...confusing as hell, honestly."
Ty noticed how close they were getting to sanctuary, but then they turned into an apartment building and then climbed a ton of flights of stairs. "This place gives me an odd feeling of deja-vu..." Ty muttered as he looked at the red door.
With a nod, Ty peered into the room, and slowly stepped inside. At first the stench made him cringe; this place hadn't been touched in awhile, it seemed. Much worse than his room at sanctuary had been, too. Looking around the room, Ty dug through the mess, finding something that made him shy away a bit, but he figured it would work. It was a handgun, but it hadn't been used or properly taken care of in ages, it seemed.
"This is as good a place to start as any," he said, looking over at the Doc before he removed one of his gloves and let his bare hand touch the cold metal, closing his eyes and letting his power show him the way.

"A room?" he paused, brushing his hair out of his face with a gloved hand. "Actually...some of them did take place in that room. All the ones that did had you in them. Or...someone that looks like you? Fuck, I don't know. They had a giant roach and somebody that looks like an older version of me." Ty sighed deeply. Every time he explained it sounded more and more confusing. Maybe he wasn't going crazy; he was more than likely already there.
Ty stood to his feet, stretching as the dotor put a....shoe on his head? Okay. Sure. Why the hell not. "Well, I'm always up for an adventure," he said with a mischievous smirk as he prepared to follow Doc wherever they were headed. Besides, maybe it was the visions, or maybe it was some unseen force but...something about the two of them working together....

"Honestly...I don't remember. I do know that when I write my birthdate, the year trips me up. I want to write 1992, but that would make me twenty-seven, and...look at me, that's clearly not the case, right?" he said, not having the first idea what was going through the doctor-roach's head, but still it seemed like he may be able to help.
"I do know, a few weeks ago, I woke up on a park bench. I had no idea what happened the night before, no wallet, no phone, no nothing. My power wouldn't even work on the clothes I was wearing, even though I didn't recognize them. And then I was taken to Sanctuary only to find that I was already on file? Even though I didn't recognize anything in the room...as I mentioned earlier." He let out a sigh.
"Though I guess it kind of helps knowing that I'm not the only one who seems to be going through this...My question is....how do I fix it?"

Ty just sat in his seat, looking at the clock on the wall, then at his phone, trying not to make eye contact with the other people who were also waiting. But, he was committed now, and there was no turning back. His mind eventually wandered, picking through the random memories from things he'd picked up from his room.
"Hi, uhm... Frank? No, no, that was the last one- Ty? The Dr.Samson will see you, now. B- Bring in your clip board and give it to him when you walk in. Thank you for waiting." With a nod to the redheaded woman, he stood to his feet and made his way to the room as directed. When he walked in, he froze. It was a giant roach. There was one of those in his visions. And they weren't good visions. They were rather scary.
Taking a breath, he sat down, visibly shaken now, and he looked at the giant roach.
"Okay, so I have this mutation where I can touch an object and see its past. Easy enough. But recently I moved into Sanctuary, found out I was....already on file, and there was a room full of stuff. I used my mutation on it and I got...fragmented memories. They all featured someone that looked like me but older, and there were things I wasn't involved in..." He took another breath.
"You were in them. You gave the person whom I guess was me? A knife. Gave the person people to kill. Made them--me--do horrible things. And there are more like that featuring other people that I also don't recognize. I...I don't know what's going on. Am I seeing the future, an alternate timeline, do I have an older doppleganger out there? Or am I just losing my mind?" He buried his hand in his palms after unloading all of that information.

Ty wasn't sure where he could turn, or if anyone could even help him with his problem. He'd been having more visions from the things he'd found in 'his' room at Sanctuary, and he wasn't sure if he was going crazy or if he was seeing the future, or what the hell was going on. But, he found an add for a clinic, and it was FREE!
He still didn't know if it would do anything, but he was willing to try anything to explain--or better yet get rid of--his visions of an older him, strange women, and six foot cockroaches. He tugged on his leather jacket, put his new phone and wallet in his pockets, grabbed his knife that he hoped he never had to use but he had to admit it made him feel alot safer, then made his way to the address.
Walking inside the building, he felt himself get nervous as he filled out the customary paperwork and found himself pausing at birthday. He knew it was in April, but he found himself writing 1992, and that couldn't have been right. He knew he was sixteen, so he did some math, wrote down the correct year, and kept going. Something was very weird here, but that seemed to be the norm lately, didn't it?
At the bottom, where it asked what his ailment was, he specified his mutation as being able to see the past by touching objects, and then wrote about the visions and the broken memories and things that he didn't understand, though he wound up having to write smaller and smaller to keep from needing another sheet. Once he had that handed in, he sat in a chair, looking at the floor and attempting to avoid eye contact with literally anyone else in the room.
Part of him was starting to think this was a horrible idea, and the other part thought he was an idiot.

There were very few things in life that could shut Ty up, at least at this age, and to his knowledge. The kiss on the cheek brought him pause, and he turned to look over at Lenna. As soon as he did, their lips met and he let out a surprised gasp, but reciprocated as his heart thumped in his chest and his heart raced. For all of his talk and his flirting, he'd never actually kissed a girl before. He let one arm wrap around her and rest on the middle of her back, the other one awkwardly resting on the seat of the gigantic truck they were currently in.
"Oh, yeah. Orange. I uh...I guess I could drive? Or uhm...I don't know," he stammered, his face blushing even deeper. He was so far out of his element, and trying to get back on track. But she was pretty. And she'd just kissed him.
He took a breath, looking at her. "We probably do need to go though, in case they come back soon. But first..." He leaned in, giving her one more kiss for luck as he moved to swap seats. "And maybe I can attempt to teach you how to drive sometime. I mean I've never taught anyone to drive before but...I didn't think you'd actually kiss me either," he said with a nervous chuckle.

"You're welcome," he replied with a small smile, which widened when she said Cowboys were cool, because that meant technically she said he was cool, and he would take any stroke to his ego that he could get.
"Nice to meet you. Lenna's a pretty name; it suits you," he said, smiling softly, which dropped into a more concerned look as he noticed her expression. "Everything okay?" And then, she went on a rant about...orange? Odd. Was that her power?
And I thought I had it rough...
"Damn," he said, putting a tentative hand on her arm. "If you need anything, let me know, okay?"
He blushed as she patted his hair. "This. I like this. Probably the only thing actually orange in the whole bunch."
"Yeah, it's the only thing really orange. Though they do have ugly-ass cars that color," he said with a small chuckle.
"Well, you okay to drive? You get to pick where we go now," he said, sitting back in the seat and finally removing his hand from her arm. Oops.

"Yeah, but that means I've got a chance of stealing third, right?"
He didn't mind helping--crap he never got her name--hotwire the car. When needed, he'd very carefully and tastefully take her hand and guide it to the correct wire. Huh? All the same--well, that kind of made things difficult, yeah.
"No? Are you seeing the same color? Here, lemme try this then..." His fingers traced each wire individually. "See where the different wires seem to go? In some cars the layout is different so just going by color doesn't always work. Now, see this one here? Disconnect this, put that here, and..." The car fired up and he smiled over at her.
"Keep practicing; I'll be glad to help if you want," he said as he sat back in the passenger seat. "Oh, my name's Ty, by the way. But you can feel free to keep calling me Cowboy if you wanna. I honestly kinda like it."

Things were finally starting to come together for Ty. He'd....acquired some funds, but he needed a place to stay. He'd gotten word of Sanctuary, and figured it was better than sleeping on park benches. Through the golden doors and to the desk he went, preparing to fill out paperwork and all that happy bull****, still wearing the same leather jacket, green tee shirt, faded jeans and worn sneakers he had been for a few days now, though to him, it seemed like longer. In fact, how he got on that park bench a week ago, and the days prior were still just a blank, and he couldn't remember really having that problem. Also, his powers seemed a lot keener than they used to be. It was weird.
To make matters even weirder, when he got to the desk and stated his name, they said his name was already on file, and gave him a 'replacement' key. Huh. Nonetheless, he wasn't going to argue with free room and board. And so, he made his way down to 'his' room, and what he found was...a mess. He pulled his fingerless black gloves down to tighten them a little as he looked around at boxes and clothes everywhere. The room looked as if it hadn't been touched in years. So, with a deep sigh, he started cleaning. A cloud of dust took over the room as he put clothes--which actually looked like things he would wear--into the closet, and once that was done he went through the boxes. Phone, wallet with no ID, but spare money was good. Among other things he found were a stuffed tiger, a six inch stiletto knife, and a much nicer looking leather jacket once the dust was cleared off.
"Was there another Ty Fisher or something...?" he wondered out loud as he sat on the bed and pulled off one of his gloves. First, he touched the knife, and felt a sharp stabbing pain in his head as he got...broken images. Out of order.
A man with shaggy red hair and occasionally facial hair that looked remarkably like Ty. Random stabbings, a blond girl he didn't recognize, but this dude seemed to be really into her. Dark haired girl, another girlfriend it seemed? Car stealing, picking pockets, random shenanigans. And then everything seemed to go backwards, and there was just a note.
'"May this knife kill your foes, and may death be your coach. now stay away from my Megan and I won't eat you- Roach."'
Ty's head was spinning when the vision ended, and luckily he'd acquired some aspirin, which he popped before touching the new leather jacket. More memories flooded into his head in a similar fashion, all of them featuring this guy who looked just like a more worn out version of him, but he didn't recognize anyone else. Lying on the bed , he stared at the ceiling as his head throbbed at the same pace as his rapidly-thumping heart. What the hell did he just see? The future? A past life? Ugh...
At least....at least the bed was warm, and this other Ty Fisher dude had a nice style. Maybe one of the girls from his vision would visit...that'd be cool. Or creepy. But hopefully cool.
He drifted off to sleep, plagued by dreams of these broken memories, but nonetheless, at least it was more comfortable than anywhere else he remembered sleeping in awhile.

"Baseball, eh? Well, in that case, you've gotta tell me whether I'm out or safe," he quipped, keeping the playful flirting game alive. Or as alive as it could have been between them. "That would require a less conspicuous car, or just stopping and stealing a new one every so often. Though...I can't say that I'm against something like that. It's nice to have company," he commented, being sincere for probably the first time since they'd met.
And she, of course, picked the biggest truck out there. Okay, sure. He walked over with her and jimmied the lock, and the door popped open. "Alright, I'm gonna pop off the console, like so," he instructed, doing as he'd said, and then I'm gonna hop in the passenger seat, and you're gonna do what I say. From here on out, you're in the driver's seat.[/color]"
He sat, watching her and explaining what he needed to, every now and then he'd reach down to guide her hand to the right wire. "Okay, you've almost got it. One more, and it should fire up."

"Well, the context is different. Here, I have to try. Whether I do or do not....well, that ball's in your court, my dear," he said, his voice somewhat teasing. "Yeah, I try to have it back before they miss it, but sometimes..." he winked, "Well, sometimes that doesn't quite work out." That mischievous grin never left his face as they spoke.
"That's also pretty cool; I don't really have anywhere like that, but maybe one day you can take me somewhere like that, eh?" Sure, he was laying on the charm, but he found it hard not to. After a little while, they reached a small, secluded area with a campground and parked cars. He put the car in park, and motioned to the line of cars. "Pick your poison, and I'll show you how to crack into it."

He blushed lightly as she teased him, at least she wasn't hostile. So he laughed, playing it off as a joke. "Hey, it was worth a shot, right?" he said with a slight shrug, slowing the car as he turned, now keeping a steady cruise.
"So, I was just seeing what this baby could do. Always fun to open 'er up for the hell of it," he said as they reached a less densely populated area dotted with trees and beautiful countryside. "I really will teach you how to hot-wire," he said after a moment of silence. "But first, there's a lot more to New York than the cramped city. I like to come here to relax and think, when I can," he explained, much like a kid showing the new kid his secret hideout.

"Cool. It'll be nice to have some company," he said with a smile. "Yeah, I'd be happy to teach you later. It's not hard, once you get inside the car and open up the console. From there it's just knowing what to do with what wire, but even those are color coded," he explained, walking her through the process as he drove through the city.
He put his own window down, propping his arm on the window as he drove with his right hand. "So, where would ya like to go? Just see the sights, or I could take you somewhere private so we can work on your hotwiring, maybe make out later?" He glanced at her out of his side vision, seeing how she'd react and hoping she wouldn't jump out of the car.
Soon, the city-scape turned into a more rural area, with open roads, and Ty hit the gas, showing her what the little red sports car was really capable of. "Yeee ha!" he said, that southern drawl bleeding through as the speedometer steadily climbed.
