The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Streak had heard enough. This dude was insane. He was going to prevent, as much as possible, this guy getting what he really wanted. The guy standing up to him, in the front, seemed to have bitten off more than he could chew when the sword was pointed in his face. This is usually the part where he would step in. Whether the other guy was a mutant or just some brave human it didn't matter. He sure didn't look confident enough to handle the sword in his face.
Just before Streak could really do anything the lights went out. It happened a little to quickly for him to really do anything; however, he steped out of the bench that he was sitting in earlier and into the main aisle in case the guy decided to run. He couldn't see anything but it sure would make sense for this guy to try to get out now. Why not save his own skin after he'd actually been confronted with some resistance rather than just fear of senseless people.
Streak's silver was completely encasing him now and he was ready for any type of attack that this guy might use to try and escape. It'd be a shame if he escaped and the blame for this little incident tried was put on someone else.

I think it's a great idea. What about having the horsemen not actually try to start it but start it through accidents or through like a series of planned misadventures.

I think it'd be fun to have your character meet Streak. Him being made out of metal an all could provide a certain interesting adventure or two. What do ya think.

Streak was interested in seeing what this talk was about. The flyer seems interesting enough for him to want to go. He wasn't necessarily interested in the idea that was being thrown around but it certainly had promise to bring up some good points.
He showed up just before the lecture started. He thought it was interesting that this was being held at a church. Once it started it was soon apparent that this definitely wasn't a lecture that would always be heard at a place like this.
The young man wasn't to sure what this was all a out. He wasn't even sure that this was a talk that he was interested in listening to. It seemed to not really interest him until the man started talking about being hostages. Streak nodded his agreement. The metaphor was interesting and it wasn't until people started to back away from the speaker did he realize that this guy wasn't talking metaphorically.
A couple of people didn't move; Shawn happened to be one of them. One guy even stood up and their conversation seemed to end with a sword in the guys face. Well if it was someone to stand up to him then he had taken the wrong guy hostage. Streak had more experience fighting, especially with swords, more times than people could say that they've even seen the news. "If you want to learn then all you have to do is ask." Streak said piping up. His reasoning was interesting and certainly not a method that was normally adopted by hostage takers.

Streak let them all have their say to make sure they weren't hurt. Then introductions were made. He found it a little funny that they had time to make introductions during all this but things seemed to have taken a breather for a minute. "It's great to meet yall. Now lets think of a way to get rid of this thing."
Just then Jorge showed up. He'd met him before at the mansion and seemed to finally get himself some free time to stop over at the group that was quickly becoming a rather large object to attack. "What's the plan man." Streak was hoping that maybe Jorge had a plan. "Ok let's look at the facts. We've got a giant turkey rampaging through the city and little mini turkeys doing the same thing."
Just then he noticed that there were more turkey's establishing themselves through their own destruction. "Looks like this person can create more turkey's from any store. We might be in trouble considering how many turkey's are in the city today." Streak considered some options that might make them more sucessful at getting rid of this thing. He soon continued his talk. It wasn't really meant for anyone but he found it easier to figure things out if he could talk them out loud.
"Well, there's obviously someone controlling these things so if we can find the person then we should be ok and it shoudln't be to hard to stop whoever it is. Unless the person is smart and is inside the girant turkey. I'm open to suggestions." Streak said throwing that out there. He knew how he was going to go about this he just wanted to make sure that the others had the same plans. Streak plan was basically hacking away at the thing. He imagined that he'd eventually get to the center of the turkeys. But hopefully someone else had a better plan.

His training regime for the next few months seemed to stay the same. Chores early in the morning...meal...more chores...meal...meditation...meal...meditation...bed. Then the whole cycle would start over again the next day. The monotony was starting to get to him. Streak thought he was slowly going to be driven mad from all this time alone and all this 'searching for inner meanings'.
Finally he couldn't take it anymore. Streak went up to the head monk and fumed. It was all he really could do. "I've been here for months now and all you've had me do is chores and meditate. What gives? Are you planning on teaching me what I came here to learn and help me figure out what I need to figure out or should I just go back home where I can get just as little help?"
In hindsight, it probably wasn't the nicest thing to say to a monk that took you in off the mountain and has been letting you stay there for the past few months basically rent free. The old wise monkk just gave, what Shawn has come to call his 'smile of eyes', where not only do his lips smile but it looks like his eyes smile just as big as the rest of his face. "Shawnson..." that's how he seemed to always start his conversations with Streak. "Shawnson. You have always been on the right track and we have been helping you since the moment you stepped into this sanctuary."
Streak was about to object but the monk help up his old wrinkled finger and Streak fell silent immediately."When you first came here your path was full of obstacles and turns in directions that could take you down the wrong path. We have taken you in and helped you clear away those obstacles and remake you path into the one that you have sought." Now how could Straek argue with that logic. There was nothing sid there that he could have argued with. In fact, Shawn could even feel himself calming down. The rage that he'd felt welling up inside him earlier was now subsiding. It might have ahd something to do with the man's voice or it could have just been the fact that the man was speaking and Streak coudln't help but agree with him no matter how angry he was right now.
The monk continued to speak. "Since you feel that your leanring from meditation has come to an end I feel that it is time that we introduce you to the next stage of learning. Go to Brother Cho and he will begin your instruction on the next level of learning." Streak bowed slightly and left to find Brother Cho. Brother Cho was to be found outside in an area of the sanctuary that Streak had yet to go to. This is promising. Streak thought as he approached the monk.

Shawn smiled at Gina. The only thing he could think of was, how could something so big sneak up on you? but instead he just said, "Looks like you need work on your observing skills."
Streak turned tithe other two. It was about time he introduced himself to the girl that had tried to run him over before. There was another guy that he'd never seen before... But then again that kind of thing happened all the time. He was always running into new mutants. "The names Streak. Short for Silver Streak. Thanks for taking care of one of my students. What's yall's names?" he said indicating the two others.

The silver sword sliced and diced the turkeys as they came at him. Some realized that they were being attacked at they ransacked the stores. Others didn't see it coming until it was to late. Uncooked limbs flew everywhere as Streak carved up the birds.
Suddenly, and rather violently, he felt the ground shake harder than it had when the giant turkey was walking. Streak stopped his butchering long enough to look back at the street and see that the giant undercooked bird was lying in the ground and being butchered by Shin. Lets here it for the Xmen. Streak thought. He spun his sword in his hand like an expert and stabbed into a smaller turkey that was trying to get the jump on him while his back was turned.
Shawn walked back out into the street and looked for Sara. She couldn't be to far off and he was pretty sure that there was going to be a lot of paperwork for he police whenever they finished all this clean up. It was great that he was basically a vigilante with a badge right now. The badge simply gave him the opportunity to continue his Xmen duties with the approval of the law. He didn't really need to have the law behind him he would do it anyways. It didn't stop him in the years before and he didn't really care about it now.
Streaks first stop was to make sure that the girl that had run into him was okay. While he was getting thrown into the air on the car he saw that she was still hanging around. Maybe she got out finally. As he got closer, still covered in silver, he saw that she was still there along with a couple others. "Gina. What are you doing here? You should be somewhere safe." He wasn't really reprimanding her but he was sort of I charge of her safety and he wanted to make sure that she knew he was concerned for her safety.
