The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Streak was fighting as hard as he could. There were so many of them that Streak couldn't see any way out of this jam. The cops didn't seem able to help them and the mob didn't seem to be relenting. Streak would take one down after another and they would keep charging at him. They didn't seem to get the hint that they weren't going to win. The chaos was unbelievable. "How do we get out of this, Iesland?!" Streak yelled to him. He forgot that Iesland couldn't talk but he'd asked the question anyways. The silver man continued to punch and kick people as hard as he could, not stopping for any breaths. Sure some people could have probably fought but it was to clsoe quarters and there were to many people for anyone but Streak to fight.

Streak followed the man into the dome of the colony. Everything seemed nice, inviting, and comfortable. It was like whoever controlled the temperatures her had created a eutopia for mutants. He walked pasted the man that stood at the opening and stopped short of the man that had invited him in. When the man removed his hood, gloves and mask Streak thought he recognized him.
"Of course you are welcome, Nathan. I knew who you were when they said a metal man was skating up, to be honest. Heh. Not so many like you running around, I don't believe." "Welcome to the Colony"
Streak smiled shortly until it registered that he was being called by the wrong name. "Well that's true. You don't see people like me everyday. But I gotta stop ya there. First of all, you look familiar and I can't put a name with your face. Secondly, I'm not Nathan. The names Shawn but I go by Silver Streak. I'm part of the X-Men and I'm just taking a little vacation and seeing the world. I figured this would be a good place to rest for a little while." Streak mentioned to the only to familiar looking man. Silver wracked his brain trying to remember where he'd seen the man before. Finally he remembered. "Garret! That's who you are. Man you look different." Streak said hitting himself on the forehead. When he realized who he was talking to he almost yelled for a second. His smile returned to his face and he retracted the silver from his body, leaving it only where it normally rests involuntarily.

Streak was standing outside when he realized that there were doors on this ice colony. The doors opened and a man stood there seeming like he was waiting for someone before approaching Streak. The man wasn't very heavily dressed for this weather which seemed a little weird, but it only made sense that he was one of the ice manipulators that Streak had heard of. Along with the rumors of the whereabouts of the mutant colony, he'd also heard that there were icemancers and pyromancers that were here to control the temperatures and the stability of the buildings here. Soon another man joined the first. The second man was bundled up more appropriately for the part of the world he is in.
The person covered in layers said something to the other mutant and before continuing his check of his clothes. Streak didn't take his eyes off the two standing in the door way the entire time. He stood still as a statue, facing them. Streak saw the man take a few steps out of the dome and motioned for Streak to join him. Streak walked over to him and decided it was probably better to introduce himself to the man. "Hi there. My names Streak. I was hoping I could have a place to stay for a while." Streak said to him. He held out his hand to the man bundled in coats. He waited to see how he would react what Streak had said.
Streak had lost track of the time as he flew over the Southern Ocean. The only way Streak could catch a glimpse of Antarctica was by flying into space. It's not that he didn't like flying that high it's just he didn't want to attract attention and it was really a lot brighter than in pictures. There was no sign of the colony from the altitude that he was at. It was all white ice and blue waters from up there. He didn't know where to start so Streak dove down through the atmosphere and started by looking from the outside in. All throughout the world there were rumors of where it was located, but Streak never seemed to be able to find the right people with the right information.
His trip to get here had definitely been an interesting one. Nevertheless he had arrived at a resting point...for now. Streak had no intention of making this his permanent home but he did think it would be a good vacation spot. Silver moved along the outer edge of the continent and worked his way inward. Streak landed on the densely packed snow and ice and started looking for any signs of the colony. No matter the cold or the harsh conditions it didn't seem like such a bad place to be. Streak passed some polar bears eating a seal, they seem to be doing well. He thought as he walked past them with considerable distance. In doing so he walked right into a group of penguins. That caused quite a commotion and even the polar bears, who were into their food lifted their heads to see what was going on. After flying up to get out of the way of the penguins, Streak flew only twenty feet or so off the ground. He didn't want to fly really high because visibility was starting to get poor.
Silver made sure that he was clear of any animals and landed once again on the hard ice, and almost fell down. He then fashioned a pair of silver ice skates on his feet and started skating on. Shaking was a lot faster and stabler than walking. It was fun being on the ice. Since there was no one around, yet, he pretended like he was a Olympic speed skater. He was making great time. Streak slowed down once he started to see lights in the distance. Streak flew the rest of the way to the colony. There was a lot more there than he thought there would be. As Streak passed over over the outskirts of the colony he saw many building that all seemed to be linked together. Streak landed at the edge of the colony and slowly started to walk towards the main area. He wasn't sure how to get anyone's attention there so walked around looking for people. "Apparently people don't spend much time outside here." Streak said jokingly to himself. He looked around and said, "I don't see a door bell anywhere, so how do they get new people?" Streak stood out in the snow waiting for someone to come out.

The next morning Streak woke up as soon as the sun hit his face. It seemed like a better day and despite being woken up in the middle of the night, he felt very refreshed. Streak ate more of the meat that had gotten him in so much trouble the night before. With so little of it left he bundled the rest up and looked around for a little while longer while he digested the food. Deciding that he had over stayed his welcome in this country Streak left. Silver flew up high into the air and looked around. He saw just off to the west that there was an island that he wanted to visit. If it was the right island. Streak flew down there, with the meat tied around his back and lightly landed on the ground.
He looked up to see giant statues staring at him. "Ah, Easter Island. One of the great mysteries of the world." He started walking around the statures and took in their appearances, flaws, makes and shapes of their faces. "So, who made you? and what happened to them?" There were obviously some statues missing because they were on display in different museums around the world. Streak briefly visited the island as he started to hear people and cars moving around near him. He had always thought that the island was deserted but that was obviously not the case. He paused for a small snack and continued his southerly track towards Antarctica. Streak flew high above the mountains, once he was back over Chile and Argentina. He didn't have any more unfortunate encounters for the rest of his trip. Streak lost track of the time when he started flying back over the sea between Argentina and Antarctica.

The trip to the farms took longer than Streak thought it would. They must have been traveling almost all night. Streak thought as they continued their monotonous, drone-like pace away from the ruins. The farmers had brought torches with them and were now carrying them back. All around them there were thick trees covered with vines, moss, and high grass. Just as Streak was about to make his break for it, a eerie fog rolled in covering everything. The only thing that was able to be seen were the people in front and behind Streak. It's now or never. Streak dropped the rope and made a dash for the jungle. "See ya, suckers." He yelled with his back to them. They all started yelling again and split up looking for him. It was what Streak had expected them to do. He wasn't going to leave without the meat, however.
The fog was thick, but you could still see people and torches and hear machetes cutting through the grass. All Silver had to do now was wait for the right moment. Then he would take them out one at a time, like a velociraptor from Jurassic Park. Streak stalked the bushes and the grass. He was very well concealed with the fog. He moved with the litheness of a Jaguar. He wasn't sure what kind of weapons they had so he wasn't sure if he needed to kill them or just make them unconscious. He snuck up to one of the closest farmers. He was carrying a machete and a pistol. Streak supposed most would be using the machete so it would be practical to use his own machete. He crouched down low and formed a machete out of his silver. He moved around the man, making only the slightest of noise. The farmer stopped looking around and stood still. Streak could hear his breath quicken and he only slightly shifted his weight as he looked around. Apparently the farmer thought Streak was a jaguar. The farmer started to make loud noises that would scare away any normal jaguar. But seeing as Streak wasn't a Jaguar it didn't work. Streak moved around to behind the farmer, who was still making lots of noise and waving his arms up and down.
Streak was ready for anything. He came up behind the man, stood up, and wrapped his left arm around the mans neck. The man instantly started to freak out and waved his machete around trying to hit Streak. The silver man blocked each of the slices with his own machete. 1...2...3... Streak counted in his head as he squeezed the mans neck. The farmer was loosing oxygen and blacked out by the time Streak reached three in his head. Streak gently laid the man down on the ground and moved on to the next farmer. The next three farmers went down just as easily as the first, since they were all spread out looking for Streak no one could help the other. Streak still hadn't found where his meat was. With every farmer he knocked out he knew he was getting closer to finding which one had his meat. There were still two more walking around, and Silver sought to remedy that. He found the man who was carrying his meat. This guy was very wary and expecting someone to pop up and hurt him. He looked very angry, apparently he'd found one of his fellow farmers lying passed out on the ground. Streak tried a different approach this time.
Streak charged and let the man know he was coming. He raised his machete over his head and brought it down stopping an inch above the mans forehead. Silver was breathing heavy, his face was contorted in rage, and he looked very intimidating.Streak wasn't mad he just wanted to scare the guy really bad. The man started whimpering pathetically. Streak face softened a little. He motioned for the meat and the farmer handed Streak the meat with out any objection.Streak took the meat and thanked the man for his cooperation by hitting him in the temple with the handle of his machete. The farmer was out cold. Streak pulled the sword back into his body, grabbed the bundled up meat with one hand, walked out into the clearing again and flew back to where he was sleeping before being rudely awakened. If there were no more interruptions tonight he would leave early in the morning the next day. Right now he needed more sleep.

Silver Streak was fast asleep, the fire was burning bright, the stars were out, his food was cooked, and the farmers were closing in. He was having such a nice dream. The night was perfect and it seemed like nothign could ruin the night. Streak had done enough scavaging during the day that he knew there was no one around the place that would disturb his sleep.
Streak as walking through the mansion. He was in the hallway that lead to all the bedrooms. He looked down at his hands and saw that he was carrying some packages. Streak stopped walking and looked in the packages to see what he was in them. It was some Christmas gifts. He looked up. Streak remembered this day. It turned out to be a good day one of the few good days that still remained. He continued on with the dream. He continued walking down the hallway and into his room. He slowly turned the door knob and walked in. "Honey, I'm home." He called into the house. "Were over here." The voice called out from the living room. He walked over to the living room and saw his wife and kid sitting on the couch watching TV. "Hey Em can you come into the bedroom and me with the unpacking." he headed towards their bedroom as she got up and followed him. Em walked up behind Shawn and started to rub his back.He closed the door, and they started kissing. "Why don't we wrap these presents first." He said to her. "Oh, alright. Spoil sport." She said sounding a little disappointed but playful. She stuck out her tongue quickly before pulling it back in. Half an hour past an they were finished wrapping the presents. They then hid them and...
Streak was jerked out of his dream. There were people shouting and waving weapons everywhere. He was surrounded and standing upright. One especially large farmer had picked him up and was holding him so that he couldn't get away. The farmers were yelling at Streak in a language he couldn't understand. "Look, I don't understand what you're saying." They continued to yell at Streak and signaling to the meat. This didn't seem like it was going to end well. The farmers started to tie Streak up so that he couldn't run away began hauling him back to the farms. They gathered up his meat and brought it with them. He looked around while they were taking him back to their farms. There was no telling what they would do once they got him back to their farm. All Silver knew was that he had to get out of this situation. It would be an easy escape. All they were using was rope. He formed a knife and quietly cut the rope. Silver held onto the cut rope so that he could pretend he was still captive. AS they walked farther into the jungle and farther down the path towards the farms, he planned his escape.

Streak was woken up early the next day with the sun in his face and monkeys all around him. He groggily looked around and stirred as the monkey continued to pick on his skin. He slowly got up and positioned himself more comfortably on the tree. "Who am I, George of the Jungle? Mogli? What the hell? Where's my extra deer meat?" He said looking around at the monkeys. They all scattered as he started to move around and climb back down to the forest floor. "Man if I get woken up like that every day I might start turning into one of them." he said to himself. Streak then went off and started looking for some breakfast before he headed south again. After a while of hunting he found more food. It was smaller than the deer he killed last night. Unfortunately the monkeys had eaten the remainder of his deer and then started to pick him looking for more food.
The silver man finished eating quickly because he was hurried to continue his journey. Shawn moved along looking for fruit. He always had room for fruit. The fruit that he tasted turned out taste very good. He knew it was good for him to eat because of the gnawed on leaves and other signs around the trees. Streak later discovered that the berries were called Acai Berries. After eating his fill of the berries he flew high up, past the tree line and into the sky. Streak flew south and west towards Chile and crossing Bolivia, and parts of Paraguay. There was lots more forest and lots more farming areas. It was disheartening to see how much of the forest had been cut down for farming. Streak covered the Andes and nearby areas where some people were living. Once he came around the side of one of the mountains he saw what looked like houses and farms built into the side of the mountain. These houses were built very high in the mountain wall. Almost at the same height at which Streak was flying at.
Streak landed in the center of the buildings. As soon as he landed, he started looking around the deserted buildings. He wasn't looking for anything in particular, but he was enjoying the ancient cities greatness. It really was amazing that cultures like the Inca's and the Mayan's could have created such masterpieces and such brilliant mathematical works with such basic tools that they had when they were in the prime of civilization. Streak decided to spend the rest of the night in the farm areas. After finding, or stealing food by killing locals animals, he settled down for the night. Little did Streak know, he was being followed by farmers with weapons to like he was a wolf stealing the sheep.
He was flying at top speeds gaining momentum from gravity. He flew fast past trees and animals. He caused quite a commotion with the animals seeing as he was buzzing the water and rushing a giant mass of air behind him. Streak landed that day in Brazil. The Amazon Rain forest to be exact. It was an awe inspiring site. He found a spot of land that stood out a little father than the rest of it. That's where he decided to land. Unsure of how stable the land was he quickly walked away from it and onto more solid ground. The rain forest was alive with different sorts of animals. He moved on the forest floor with as much stealth as he could muster. Animals scurried this way and that to get out of the big silver creature's way. They were obviously scared and as it turned out they should be. He, however, was not looking for food just yet. Streak was enjoying the tranquility of the forest.
The silver man looked around for fruit that he could heat. After finding lots on the forest floor he picked one off the tree. Streak was about to take a bite out of it when he thought about bugs living in the fruit. He created a knife and cut it open. Luckily there were no insects living in it, so Streak ate it. he sat under the giant tree and continued eating the fruit. Once he finished the fruit he walked on and took in all the different animals he saw. From safe distances he saw flamingos, frogs, toads, howler monkeys, jaguar, capypara. There were many other animals that he saw, but did not know the names of. He also saw lots of parrots, toucans, butterflies and other animals flying over head. It was getting late, since he spent much of the day looking at the Mayan ruins and other marvels around there. Streak found himself looking for food, not for the first time and not the last time on his trip.
Streak wandered around near the stream and saw animals drinking out of it. He saw a small group of deer wander up to the stream and start drinking. Silver slowly started making his way towards the deer when suddenly a crocodile, lurking in the waters of the stream, appeared out of no where and clamped down on one of the deers head. The other deer scattered away from the stream and left the one deer to die in the clutches of the croc. Streak was so surprised by this maneuver, not because he didn't know that stuff happened, it was just so sudden and disturbed the quiet of the forest that Streak jumped. All the other animals started screaming, squawking, and making all sorts of noise. He knew that he wasn't going to find any food around here for a while, so he flew off to a different part of the forest. He eventually found a quiet spot and started the hunt again. He eventually found some deer, killed, cooked and ate it. Feeling completely satisfied he moved along the forest looking for a place to sleep. Not comfortable with the ground he climbed a tree, wedged himself in a nook in the tree and fell asleep.

The next day the sun rose upon all the faces that were on the beach. Streak slowly stretched, got up, and walked around dodging all the bodies lying on the floor. Most were still unconscious and sleeping. His head throbbed, threatening to explode. He clutched the sides of his head and the silver slipped over his body. He went on through the area looking for a drink to help get rid of his massive hang over. Streak figured most people would be doing the same thing and the party would start over again. The way he was feeling he wasn't sure if he wanted to hang around for the party that day. After drinking another beer, which made his head feel much better, he found some food and left to continue his trip.
Shawn didn't remember much of the night after the conversation he had with the attractive women he met that night. He supposed the alcohol level in his body had just so high that his memory stopped working. It didn't matter much now. Streak flew back on to the main land of the Yucatan Peninsula. As he was flying overhead he saw many clearing in the jungle that held what looked like ancient buildings. Intrigued by this sight, Streak flew closer to the buildings. The buildings were huge and squarish in shape. Many stairs lined their paths towards the top along with lots of symbols, writing and overgrowth of vines. He'd seen these buildings and shapes before. They were on a national Geographic or Discovery, or the History Channel or something. They were Mayan ruins. Remnants of a ancient civilization that disappeared into nothingness.
He moved through the ruins with awe and admiration. Flying from precipice to precipice and side to side, he investigated the entire Mayan building structure. It was amazing at the abilities they had so long ago. There was still much to see, however, Streak was able to see it in a very short amount of time. Flying around the city he slowly headed south to cross into Central America. The silver man flew past houses and towns, cities, and more jungles. This was the best part of the trip so far. Even though there wasn't much to see in these places except for jungles, he still liked the view. Every once in a while he would fly high into the earths orbit where there was no oxygen and surveyed the area.
Then Streak angled himself so that he would end up heading straight towards Brazil and the Amazon Rain forest. He had not intention of going through the drug ridden areas of the world.

After making his way to the 'dance floor' nothing very interesting was happening besides drunk people dancing with each other. Shawn took another beer and walked past all the people dancing and away from the main groups. As Shawn walked the streets of Cancun that night, he looked for the better parties around the little island. It took him hours to find the right place he was looking for. Once he did find it, it was open season. This party was seemed to be the best one Shawn had ever been to. It was a complete drunkfest. People were past out everywhere, the DJ was blasting his speakers about as loud as he could, people were dancing on the side of the pool, girls with girls, guys with girls and every other combination you could think of and doing whatever they could get away with.
This was the exact type of party he'd heard, read about and seen on TV. He knew he was going to have fun. And that's what this trip was all about. Shawn didn't get more than a few feet into the party before he was bombarded by gorgeous girls left and right. Granted, they were heavily intoxicated already, but that didn't matter one bit to Shawn. If things didn't go the way he was hoping they would he could always find a girl who was very inebriated and they wouldn't remember it in the morning. By this time Shawn had had about a six pack and was feeling plenty tipsy, but no where near the level of the majority of the people in the area. "Well, hey there. What brings you to this neck of the woods." Said one women who was not as drunk as the rest there. Shawn assumed she'd either been here only a little longer than himself or she hadn't been drinking as much as everyone else around her. "Just looking for a good time." Shawn said turning his head away from the mud wrestling match on stage to the girl who had addressed him. She was a very attractive women, probably around Shawn's age, or a few years younger.
He took in all her features from head to toe. She moved closer to Shawn. They were now standing close enough to be dance partners. Streak was pretty sure that if he played his cards right he could spend the night with her and not in the forest or on the beach. They made small talk and he learned more than she learned about him. He told her lies that were so convincing that they passed for truth. Or they were both getting drunker and they couldn't tell the difference between the two. After many more drinks and time spent with each other they decided to throw caution to the wind and joined in with the rest of the people at the party.

Nika quickly pulled away from Streak and managed to even get ahead of the intruder. He heard Nika's answer to the mutants question. Those were in fact the exact same questions that he had in mind. He stopped behind the man, a few feet away from him, as quietly as he could. He didn't want to alert the guy to his position. Streak waited to hear his answer to Nika's question before he started asking his own. He waited prepared for the mutant to make a move. Streak hoped the intruder wasn't stupid or arrogant enough to try something.

Once Streak tended to his wound he deserted the beach and went to find a pair of swimming trunks. He found a pair, put them on and walked out of the changing room and back onto the street. After finding another place to that looked friendly enough to accommodate a person who looked incredibly lost. Shawn walked into a gas station and to the person behind the cash register. "Excuse me sir." Shawn said toe the guy behind the desk. "This may sound like a stupid question but. Where am I?" "Are you that drunk you can't remember where you are? Maybe you shouldn't be here buying alcohol." the kid behind the cash register said to Shawn. "I don't have any alcohol in my hands do I? Look, Can you tell me where I am or do I have to go somewhere else?" He said to the kid a little rudely. "You're in a gas station." That answer tipped Streak off. He was being relatively nice to this kid considering he'd just been shot in the arm by the Coast Guar and he still had the bullet in his arm to prove it. "No you smart ass. Where am I? Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, the Virgin Islands? Where?!" At this point Streak was almost shouting at the kid. He wasn't in a great mood since receiving the gun wound. "You're in Cancun."
"Oh. See that wasn't so hard now was it? Thank you." Streak said completely changing his tone to the youngster. Once he found out the information he wanted to know he turned around and walked out of the store. His day was getting better. This was the exact place he wanted to be,; however it was not the state in which he wanted to be in. The pain in his arm wasn't bothering him so much anymore as his body started to heal around the bullet. Shawn backtracked from where he started and headed back to the beach. He walked at a quick pace to see if he could find all the fun and excitement. Shawn reached the beach with plenty of time left in the day to walk the beach. It was relatively easy to find where the most people were partying. All he had to do was follow the music. Once Shawn found where most of the music was coming from and most of the people seemed to be congregating he made his way through the bar and to the bartender to get a drink. Shawn drank a few beers before heading out to the dance floor, or the beach, where morst people seemed to be dancing.

Streak was flying much faster now that he wasn't playing with the dolphins anymore. He buzzed much closer to the Coast Guard boat than he meant to. The rush of wind that was following behind Streak was enough to set the boat rocking side to side. It was not something Streak would have done intentionally, because he didn't want to get anyone injured by accident. He looked back to see what was going on with the ship and he heard sirens and alarms going off. The slowed down and looked back as they sent out a smaller boat that started to gain on Streak fast. The silver man could see that they were carrying guns and the bigger boat was starting to push full speed to catch with him. They also sent out a helicopter. The helo made much better time than any of the boats.
Streak made a run for it. The helo was fast and it made for a good chase. Over the rush of wind and the helicopter rotor blades noise Streak could hear a voice on a megaphone. "This is the United States Coast Guard. Stop your vessel now and we will not shoot you. I repeat. Stop your vessel now." Streak had no intention of stopping mainly because he had not vessel, but also because he had people to do, things to see, and places to go. Streak started flying directly south. The Coast Guard pursued the silver man. As long as he got close to land of another country they couldn't follow him. In fact Streak was just north of the Yucatan Peninsula, which is right where he wanted to be. He flew into the Caribbean Sea and headed towards land. The closest land was a tiny island. The Coast Guard Helo was in full pursuit. Streak could just barely see the outline of the northern most edge of island. Streak put on the after burners and thought he would put the helo through it's paces. The helo sped up and Silver was now flying at a height that made the people in the boat realize he wasn't in a vessel. The helo was keeping pace fairly well, although it was behind him it seemed to be keeping up.
Silver zigged and zagged. The helo was drawing closer. They opened their hatch door and pulled out a big machine gun. He later learned that they were using a M240 that fires a 7.62mm bullet. They gave Streak another warning to stop, which he ignored fully and continued to fly along. Then they started shooting at him. bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam The machine gun rattled off rounds like it was nothing. All the shots missed STreak, so they tried again. bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam This time one of the bullets hit Streak in his arm. The silver man clutched his arm as blood started to trickle between his fingers. He quickly covered it with silver to stop the bleeding and continued to fly lower and closer to the water. The island was getting bigger every second Streak flew towards it. By now he could see people surfing and swimming and lying on the beach. The Coast Guard broke off their pursuit of the silver man because he was to close to civilians. He looked back to see the flying away back to the bigger boat. Streak fell the rest of the way to the into the water and swam the rest of the way to the beach. As he got closer to all the people swimming in the water he retracted his powers. Once on land Streak moved through the crowds gripping his shoulder. He ignored most of the stares he got and found a pretty secluded part of the beach where he could tend to his wound.
