The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Don't worry about it. I completely understand. I've been in here one to many times. It's only natural to assume that it was me." He said to Neena. It was the truth. Streak had been there probably more than most of the students have been. And with Neena's permission Streak turned around and went about his way. He was glad he could help get this kid to the infirmary and get him to DocProf.

Streak continued the tour with Gabe showing him the basketball courts, tennis courts, gardens, and other features of the grounds. All in all it was a very nice backyard area for kids to play around in. He pointed out all these things easily before taking him to what he thought was the most important part of the tour for this young fish boy. "And here we have....drum roll please...the pool." He took a pose that similar to Vanna White, smiling at his own joke. "There are a few other mutants here that have powers involving water. So you probably wont be the only one who's swimming year round." He continued.
Just then he heard Gabe's question. It was a good inquisitive question that he probably would have asked if he was in Gabe's position. Streak didn't take any offense to his comment and smiled at his hastened after comment. "She's probably teaching right now. Otherwise she'd more that likely be here. I've been here a little over a year so I've seen a lot of people show up and know how the tour thing goes. Here." he handed Gabe the folder he'd been carrying and said, "You can finish filling it out and find Neena later. It's just basic personal info and stuff. No big deal."
Streak was running out of things to show Gabe quickly. He hoped Neena would show up soon. She was always better with these sorts of things than he was. That's why she get paid the big bucks. Cause she knows how to do this stuff a lot better than me. he thought. "So? Whadda ya think? Ya think you'll like it?" He asked wondering if Gabe had any questions. There were still a few more things he could show the fish boy, but he didn't want to leave questions circling in his head.

The silver man listened to Gabe as he described his powers. He jotted down points here and there, gills and lungs, so I can live in or out of the water, thick skin, dehydrate pretty easily He underlined that point because it was a weakness and he was focused on getting as much as he could written down as the fish boy continued to talk. Black cuts down on glare, and they allow me to see pretty clearly in mucky water, sonar and vibrations. Check. both of those things are pretty fuzzy and inaccurate out of the water.
Streak finished writing down the information and continued walking Gabe through the tour. 19. Check. He quickly scribbled a 19 down on the paper and continued to fill it out. The question that Gabe posed to Streak was an unusual one. "Huh? Tuition? Don't worry about it. It'll be taken care of." He mainly said this because he didn't really know the answer. He didn't pay any tuition and he didn't know anyone who did pay. Now that he thought about it he didn't know how the mansion got it's money to pay for bills and things. "Don't worry there are jobs on campus that you can get. You'd have to talk to Neena about that. She's the Assistant headmistress here at the mansion and usually the one who handles new students files, tours and such." Shawn pointed out the infirmary as they walked past it. There wasn't much to see but he did say, "We have a resident doctor here as well who's very good at his job and you can call on pretty much any time of the day. Though he may not be very happy if you call him late at night." The man of silver kept walking out the doors in the back and to the back of the grounds.

"I don't mind having classes with mutants," "I am a mutant after all. I came here because it's a safe place for us. I would have stayed back in Florida if I was just going to keep learning with the normal kids. I mean, I've gotta get used to this sometime. Might as well be now,"
As Gabe took the brochures that Streak passed to him, he stared at his hands. It was a little shocking to see his hands like that. So he ventured a question, "So what's your mutation? Some sort of swimming ability guessing from the fins and skin." He picked up the folder and opened it, picking up a pen along with it so he could write down some information. "How old are you? It depends on where you'll be sleeping. I'll just be asking you some questions as we go through the place. This way." He turned and started walking down the hallway towards the dormitories and infirmary.
"Yeah, okay. Where are we headed first?"
Streak put on his tour voice, just for show, and said, "If you look to your left you'll see the girls dormitory, the boys dormitory is to your right, and the adults is down the middle." They walked down the adults hallway and toward the infirmary. "There's also a kitchen that's open 24/7. I assume you know what one looks like so we don't need to go there." He wasn't going to make the tour short so he allowed him to take his time and ask questions.

"There really isn't anything to control," "Most of my mutation is looking like a fish. There's not too much else I can do. I can't really do anything harmful. I guess my abilities lie mainly in navigation. I can't turn it off or anything, just ignore it. I'm not sure much can be done about it."
Streak listened to Gabe as he slowly walked through the door. "Well that's okay to. There's lots of classes that you can take like in a school with normal people instead of a bunch of mutants. Not that that's a bad thing." He added quickly. Streak noticed the boy was still trying to hide in his sweat shirt. He felt like he should say something about Gabe's wanting to keep himself hidden. "I used to have a problem with using my mutation when I was out and around the city. I never thought I would thank the camps for anything but they did give me a 'I don't care what people think about my powers thing'. Don't worry no one here cares about what you look like. I've gotten a lot of jokes thrown my way about my looks and stuff. Well I guess I'm fortunate that I can change my looks and look human."
He didn't want to sound like he was rubbing anything in but he thought it was important that Gabe know that he didn't always look like this. "There's actually quite a few mutants that have to do with water or ice. You should look them up. Anyways, let's start the tour huh?" He held his hand out that held the brochure's in it. He waited to see if the guy was ready to see the mansion yet.

Streak waved back at the blue fish boy. He was obviously shaken by seeing him like this. "Hi Gabe nice to meet you. Mutant is a good enough term. It's what we are." At least he didn't have to try and convince him he was a mutant like one girl that showed up here. Gabe was definitely a little different from mostly everyone else that was at the mansion. I'm really glad I opened the door. Probably better for him to see someone who doesn't always look human. Although I doubt he can change his look.
"I thought I'd stop by and have a look around. If I like it, I might stay,"
"Sure. Come one in." He stepped aside and to let Gabe in. "We have plenty of facilities to help you learn control of your mutation." He stepped back from the door way and walked towards the table that held all the brochures, forms and pamphlets. He picked up a few of the forms and looked at Gabe to see if he was coming to take the tour.

Streak could see that he was no longer needed in the infirmary. He was curious about what had happened but he felt like this was something that he shouldn't hear, or shouldn't be a part of. He decided it was time to take his leave so he said, "And now unless you need me, Neena, I bid thee adieu." As he said this he pulled his powers back to normal, swept one hand in front of his body and one behind his back making a bow to her. He, of course, was joking about this and however waited for her to tell him if he was needed any more.

Streak was walking around the mansion once again. He'd taken to doing that lately. He heard the buzzer go off. Instinctively, as he walked towards the doors, he pulled his silver over his body. Ever since the camps it had turned into a defense mechanism, covering himself in silver. He was never going to be caught by surprise again. Shawn walked to the door and opened it to see a blue headed person standing there. The boy was definitely different. But that didn't make him different from the rest of them. "Hey there." Streak said to the boy.
The fins, gills, and blue skin didn't throw Silver off his train of thought for a second. It wasn't unusual to see people that were different. His first thought was to Raina turning into a mermaid. Oh a playmate for Raina. Well wont she be pleased. Streak smiled at the boy shoeing his entire silver body as he opened the door wider to reveal the inside of the mansion behind him. "I'm guessing you are here to live right? My names Streak. What's yours?" He smiled even more to make sure the guy knew he was half serious and half joking.

Streak listened to Neena explain how she knew the stranger. She didn't know everything but what she did know was helpful. He continued to look around, uselessly as there was no sign or trace of the man whatsoever. By Neena knowing a little about the man, it explained how she knew he was sneaky.
"Thanks for the warnings."
"Ya. Thanks." Streak said a little annoyed. It was more the fact that he'd done quite a bit of fighting, diving, and avoiding near death experiences. He started checking himself out after Neena asked her question. "I look good." He said cracking a smile, "Well, not that I haven't always looked good, but y'all know what I mean."

Streak walked down the hall. As he did so he spotted Neena, who stopped him to ask if he was alright. "No, no. I didn't do anything. It's not me he's calling about. There's a kid in there, I brought him in, he seems to be doing ok, but then again I'm no doctor." Streak told her to calm her down. He must have been in the infirmary way to many times if she thinks its him that is injured.
He turned around to follow Neena back into the infirmary. He also wanted to know what happened to the kid and how he was doing. He'd only left a minute ago but lots can happen in that time span.

"I wouldn't worry. This testing device is similar to a blood sugar tester. You will barely feel it." Yep, clean as a whistle. It's just a precautionary measure. Sorry, but I'm all out of lollipops for good patients."
"Thanks but, I think I've never been a big fan of lollipops." Streak returned the smile from Garret.
"So, I suppose you have been on a long trip, indeed. What brings you to our little corner of the world? You are welcome to stay and don't have to answer. Just curious."
"Well, I just needed a change of scenery ya know? Something to clear my head and have some adventure." Streak said to him as they began walking down the hallway. He was having a good time no matter what he'd been through. Streak figured that if only half the world had been this exciting he couldn't wait to see what the rest of the world had in store for him. "I only plan on staying a little while before heading on my way. Just need a place to crash without any fights. I figured this was the best plce to get that rest."
"Oh, just to let you know, by the way, there are some other familiar faces around. Ali came down not too long ago to stay and should thankfully be leaving quarantine soon. Maya has been visiting me also. It's been wonderful. We take every opportunity we can get to see each other these days."
"Oh, Ali and Maya are here I have to say hi to them while I'm here." Streak said to himself more than Garret. He was pleased that there were people here that he knew.

Streak had left the infirmary for a minute after letting the DocProf know that he had an injured person here. He went to look up the kids file. The name sounded familiar, but he couldn't place it. Once he found the file he returned to the infirmary to see how the kids progress was coming. After looking over the kid he went and talked to the doc who filled him in on the wound.
"So, what happened to him Doc?" Streak asked DocProf. "Well from what I can tell. It looks like he was stabbed in the chest." He walked over to Fausto and continued talking, "I managed to stop the bleeding, so that's the good news." Shawn had been in there enough for the doctor to know his face and just about everything there was to know about him. He probably had Streak's file memorized. "I'll see ya around and might be back to check on him later." With that Streak walked back out the infirmary doors.

Streak was walking down the hallway when he heard the intercom come to life. He pushed the button and heard a man on the other end saying that he had an injured mutant with him. "I'll be right there." Streak said into the intercom once the man had finished talking. Shawn ran to the door, covering himself in silver as he went. It didn't take long for him to get there. He flung open the door, and saw a cab sitting close to the door. He slowed down to talk to the cab driver as they walked to the cab where Fausto was. "What happened to him?" Streak said to the driver.
Once he reached the cab he opened the door saw an injured Fausto lying across the seats. The wound was easily visible on him and Streak gently started to pull him towards the edge of the cab and out the door. Once there was enough of him out the cab, Streak picked him up in his arms. "Thanks for bringing him here man." Streak said as he began to walk back inside and take him to the infirmary.

Streak watched the stranger as Neena joined them. She started giving orders about this man like she'd met him somewhere before. He was taking her advice very seriously. Considering what he'd done to Garret he was someone who wasn't just here to take a tour in the middle of the night. Streak scanned the man for any visible weapons and didn't see any. Where's he hiding the knives. I don't see anything. Streak thought. Suddenly the man materialized a knife before making his own little quips.
The silver mans muscles tightened ready to jump to of the way at a seconds notice. The cloaked man then threw the knives at each of them. Streak was busy avoiding the knife that was thrown at him and wasn't paying attention to what the man was doing. Streak dove out of the way narrowly missing the knife. Streak rolled to his feet and rushed at the cloaked man. Unfortunately, he was to late to get him.
"Where'd he go?" Streak exclaimed, picking up the cloak that was left behind. He started rifling through it looking for any clue on who he was or what he was looking for. He didn't find anything, so he threw it back to the ground angrily. He looked back at Neena after a minute or so to hear what answer she was going to come up with to explain everything.

"Don't worry about it. I know...correction, knew a Nathan. But I don't know what happened to him and haven't seen him in a while." Streak told him. It was nice to have someone he knew be the first person he saw in Antarctica. It made everything seem nicer and more welcoming. When Garret mentioned that he needed a blood sample Streak recoiled a little. Streak then decided that if Garret needed it then it would be alright to cooperate.
"I gotta be honest. I don't think I have the virus, but if you need to do the test than go right ahead. If it was someone else that I didn't know saying that then I would probably say 'no', but I trust you." Streak said holding out his arm for Garret to poke. He had never liked needles, Ever since he was a a child and was in the hospital. Streak smiled at Garrets humor. It was dry but what do you expect from a doctor. Silver waited patiently for Garret to do the blood work before putting his arm back at his side.
