The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Tasean walked slowly on the path of Central Park, reflecting on everything. He had been gone from the City for a little while, having to go back home to North Carolina to take care of some things, and check on the family estate. Going back home had been a thrill for him, seeing familiar faces and places, but it was quite bittersweet, as it was his first time home since he moved away after his parent's deaths. Things really hadn't changed that much back home, and they really hadn't changed much in New York either. The Mutant Social Services agency that Tasean was sure would've been such a big hit, was barely getting a trickle of clientele or support. The money that he had gotten from those Order people had helped, but he hadn't seen or heard from them, lately, partially due to his own seclusion. He hadn't spoken to Andrew since that night, and that was something he regretted as well. Not that night, that part was great, but not having seen his first, and really only friend in New York.
"Well, you put yourself in this situation. Shoulda just stayed home. New York life may not be for you, and Yankees are crazy anyway" Tasean said to himself as he kicked at some fallen leaves and continued walking deep in thought.

"Not all that long," Tasean replied to Lydia "a couple of months really." Tasean moved forward, and placed his credit card down on the counter to pay for both of their orders. "He's a cool guy, Andrew."
Tasean signed the receipt that the cashier handed him and turned around to look at Lydia, while they waited for their food. "How about you? Do you stay at the Mansion like Andrew?" he asked.

((OOC: 'Tis Ok))
Finally Tasean's released his new dance partner's hands, as the song selection changed. It was something much more rock-ish, and he wasn't too familiar with those type of songs.
Still her swayed and stepped to the beat, smiling the entire time, as the stress and tension of the work week was lost in the music. He wasn't thinking about the agency, or what he would be facing in the morning, he was simply enjoying himself without a care in the world.
"So what brings you to this club, other than to be on that phone all night?" Tasean asked, practically yelling to be heard over the music.

Tasean's skin tingled, it felt like every nerve was working over time as Andrew leaned in for the kiss. Tasean leaned forward, hungry for the contact with the other man, as his hands began to slowly explore the promise keepers body. His mind was racing, his pulse strong and fast as he arched his back slightly for more contact between the two. Tasean was thoroughly enjoying this little adventure, all thoughts of future consequences were out of his mind, as he focused on the here and now. Whatever else might happen, this was going to be enjoyable to say the least. As he lifted his knee, to position Andrew in a more comfortable spot; his last coherent thought was, he didn't think they would be making it to that bedroom anytime soon.

Tasean took Jorge's card with a smile. "This is going to sound so cliche, but you can thank me by putting the people who are apart of that stupid church under the jail" he told Jorge, his eyes burning with the truth of his words.
This whole situation had set Tasean on edge, and he was going to make sure the he delved deeper into this church, and help Jorge in anyway that he could. He might not be the type of person to go and teach these people a lesson with his fist, nor was he a mutant with an offensive power; but he could make sure they were caught and prosecuted.
"You let Agnes know, any time she needs me, I'm here, for anything at all." he reminded Jorge.

Tasean smiled at Andrew, his eyes sparkling. Normally Tasean wouldn't even have entertained a thought like this. He didn't like crossing certain lines with friends, because the situation always ended badly. He valued Andrew's friendship, but also he found himself very much attracted to the man. The smallest part of his brain is telling him to leave well enough alone, but everything else is reacting, some parts visibly, in a positive manor and urging him forward.
Tasean's smile takes on a mischievous look, as he unscrews the cap to his own bottle of water. Always the playful teaser, Tasean lifts the bottle to his mouth, and then tips it, allowing the water to stream down his chin unto his chest, and then over onto the couch and floor; some of it pooling at his bellybutton. The couch and floor can be cleaned, and they are a small price to pay for the fun Tasean is having right now.
"Would you look at that, I'm so slow sometimes" he said, making no effort to dry himself at all. "Would mind getting a towel from the closet for me?" Tasean asks his friend and intended target "It's the first door on your left in the hallway."
Tasean looks down, noticing that the water has also strained his shorts, so he simply slips them off, and lets the fall on the floor. "Oh, can you bring the lotion out of the bathroom too? My skin always drys out after it's wet, and I hate dry skin, it makes me itch." he said, now lounging on the couch wet, in nothing but a pair of dark green 2(x)ist boxer briefs, which is actually quite normal attire for him when at home.

Tasean walked through the open door the the coffee shop. He realized that every time he and Andrew had come here, they had sat outside. Like Lydia said, the place was nice and cozy inside, it could've been just a little cooler for Tasen's taste but still it was nice.
He waited for Lydia to come in behind him before walking to the counter, his eyes roaming over the large menu hanging on the wall. "Lunch is on me" he informed Lydia, never taking his eyes from the menu. One thing Tasean hated about being in the north, was that the people knew nothing of sweet tea, not southern sweet tea at least. They added their sugar after the tea was completely brewed, and it just wasn't the same. This place however had something called Sensational Southern Tea, and it peeked Tasean's interest. It wouldn't be his mother's sun-brewed tea, but still, it sounded good. He decided to order a roast turkey sandwich, some tea and a bag of baked potato chips. As soon as he has ordered, he steps aside and nods toward Lydia. "Get anything you want"

Tasean closed the door to the refrigerator, to bottles of water in his hand. "Thanks Andrew. I try to keep the place looking nice" he said as he rounded the corner of the couch, to lounge spread eagle across the end. He tossed the bottle of water to Andrew, and took a look around the place. "Nothing compared to what my mom could do, but not to shabby I say"
He looked around the apartment, and then stopped, starring down the hallway that lead to his bedroom. "Of course the better parts of the place are in the back" he said, a slight smile beginning to creep across his face.

Tasean turned up the A.C. in the car as he pulled further away from the mansion.
"I know this nice little cafe. Andrew and I met there, or near there for the first time. Had a nice little talk too" Tasean said, his attention focused on the road.
One thing he had never gotten use too, and probably never would was the driving here in the city. Yankees were a lot more aggressive than southerns when it came to the road, and Tasean could never quite adjust.

Tasean simply looked at Andrew for the duration of the quick elevator ride to the fourth floor. When the elevator stopped and the doors open an elderly couple was waiting. Tasean stepped to the door, and made sure it remained open while they made their way onto the elevator and Andrew made his way off. He smiled at them, and nodded once as the elevator doors closed. Tasean then turned around, fishing his keys from his pockets as he lead Andrew to his apartment, the fifth door on the left side of the hallway.
He opened the door, and then stopped in the doorway, blocking Andrew from entry. As he had done every time he had come home since the attack at the Agency, Tasean used his mutant ability to check his apartment his eyes taking on that far away cast, his irises dancing with a multitude of colors. Every window in the place was open, washing his entire home with light, allowing him to use his particular gift to send his mind racing on the light, to see exactly what was in the house. After a thorough check, he stepped inside, his eyes refocusing, as he turned to bow to Andrew.
"Welcome to my most humble abode" he said grinning, making a grand display of ushering Andrew in.
Tasean's apartment was rather simply. The walls were a soft white, the furniture was a deep chocolate brown, decorated with a hint of gold here and there. The only pictures on the wall were landscape painting depicting meadows and groves of oak trees. Here and there an old lamp sat on a desk, or rested in a corner. Directly behind the front door a chest high bar separated the living room from the kitchen. Around the corner from the kitchen a hallway lead to the two bedrooms.
Tasean walked into the apartment, throwing of his shirt and entering the kitchen. "Can I get you anything? Water, soda, juice?" he asked his friend, planning to make Andrew as comfortable as possible.

Tasean gave Lydia an inquisitive look before he unlocked the doors to his car, and motioned for her to come around the passenger side front seat. "I think it could be called more than a crush" Tasean informed her, but decided not to go into anymore detail.
He waited for her to get into the car before he continued the conversation. "You live at Sanctuary? Wow, it's a small world. I've met Lori and Aura from there. Aura actually saved my life, along with Andrew." Tasean said as he backed away from the Mansion gates. He knew a great little coffee shop, the same one that he and Andrew had patroned before.
He didn't really know to much about Lydia, be he was beginning to warm up to her. She was cheeky and quick with the retort, and Tasean liked that. It reminded him a lot of the girls back home. Always sweet but with a sharp edged tongue. There was something endearing about the young lady, and Tasean was always open for a good talk, especially if it panned out to have some information on Andrew.

Tasean nodded his assent. "I'm here now, may as well stay for dinner" he said, looking back and forth between Aura and Lori. "I would play the proper southern gentlemen and escort you to your seats, but this isn't my house, so I'll just follow suit."
Tasean was enjoying his tour of Sanctuary. He could tell that both Lori and Aura deeply believed in what this place stood for. Tasean couldn't see himself living here, he enjoyed his privacy too much. But he could definitely see himself trying to help out there cause. If Lori was willing, he might even refer some of his more desperately in need clientele to the Sanctuary. He wasn't completely sure on how the place was funded, but they didn't seem to want for anything.
"So whats for dinner tonight?" he asked playfully. Really he wasn't too hungry, but he was born in south, and one did not refuse an invitation to dinner without good reason. Tasean wanted to keep a cordial relationship with Lori and her Sanctuary, so he could make a room for a few bites and a little more conversing.

Tasean grinned as the printer hummed while spitting out the physical files on paper.
"Since I've opened this Agency many people have shunned me, but then some other avenues have opened up as well. I'll check them out as well" Tasean told Jorge.
He didn't know if the detective knew Lori, but Tasean was going to ask her as well if anyone in Sanctuary knew anything about this church. He would also put a bug in Andrew's ear, as well as the few people who worked for the city who still talked to him. One way or another, Tasean was going to gather whatever evidence he could to help Jorge put this people under the jail. People like Agnes' parents and this church group were the worse kinds of people in Tasean's eyes. Anyone who intentionally harmed children, and stole what little innocence life grants them were scum in Tasean's eyes, and he would make sure they got what the deserved.
Quickly Tasean scribbled his various numbers and emails on a piece of paper and slid it over to Jorge. "Thats my contact information" he said. "Anytime you need me, or Agnes, you call me, day or night." and Tasean genuinely meant every word.
