April nodded, amused, still engaging in lots of little fleeting contacts with Juniper. "I think we may have a slight difference in philosophy here sweetie~" The blonde chirped, debating ordering a second drink. Maybe not something quite as sweet as the one she'd just had. Or at least not as much of it, perhaps a shot?
"I do what I do, as much 'Cause I wanna get laid as to let people know how beautiful they are, call it a public service~" She purred.
April laughed too. "I gotta feeling you're plenty experienced honey, I can get very kinky, but that's more a partner by partner basis than a rule." It was true, April was honestly down for almost anything. She was more about adapting to the person she was with. She did tend to take a bit of a leading role in most of those situations, but she could also adapt where that was concerned, and fighting for the top could be it's own fun too.
"Oooh, I like that one~ I've had a few nicknames, favourite was an English girl calling me a something something hussie, I didn't catch all of it, she had sexy eyes." She admitted, dreamily.
More drinks it was. "One for me as well, please." April finished the last sip of her own drink and while Juniper was distracted by questions and drinks April leaned in and planted her own kisses on Juniper's neck, occasionally nibbling a little before giving her some space.
"Why do I get the feeling yours is a little black tome?" She raised an amused eyebrow.

He definitely wasn't a gentlemen, so it was probably a good thing that he wasn't claiming to be one. "well, at least you're pretty upfront about what you're like, sweetie." People that were super dishonest were kind of a turn off. Honesty really wasn't that hard, and while she was more to him than met the eye, he didn't really make any attempt to disguise his prickly nature whatsoever.
"As for the rest of ya, I guess time will tell~" Teasing was fun, even more so when someone looked like they needed some teasing, or unwinding.
"Oh, I'm well aware of my hotness, I flaunt it for a reason" April purred, allowing the man to lead them over to the dance floor.
She felt like one of those lizards, or a cat in the summer just happily basking on stones that had been sitting in the sunlight, soaking the warmth up all day. It was pretty awesome.
The closeness was nice too. "So you're not all hard edges then, just mostly?" She asked, looking up at the tall man with a softer smile.

April couldn't remember the last time she'd been on an actual date, even before the whole de-aging thing she had no idea. It was kind of exciting, with the excitement being tempered by the underlying thought she'd have to make clear to Steph that she was strictly casual in terms of relationships, she didn't progress beyond that. Period.
The excitement, other than the fact she was going out on a date with a beautiful woman, was largely due to her being able to try out more of her magically expanded wardrobe. Some of her old favourites were still in there, which was cool. But there were also so many new and fancy articles that old April had evidently bought for herself in here.
One of the few factors about her older self April was truly pleased with was that she'd stayed so well in shape, sizes had barely changed. Tonight was a perfect time to take out a gorgeous black dress which would, unfortunately only be visible fully when they got to the venue, due to the warm trench coat and scarf she wore to help stave off the relentless chill of the winter air.
The cab ride over was quiet, taking not quite as much time as she expected, the blonde glancing out of the window and just staring at the insane city she lived in. She was still in awe of it, it was like magic.
Stepping out of the cab gently onto the curb she glanced around before she saw the sign of the restaurant and began taking steps towards it, quickly spotting a white jacket worn by a beautiful woman. "Why hello there, beautiful. What're you doing out here all on your own?" April grinned brilliantly.

April waggled her eyebrows from over her glass, making eyes while sipping from her screaming orgasm. "Oh are you? You don't enjoy the games, or the little sweet lies people tell each other, just the happy endings?" There were few things as suggestive in this world as talking about happy endings, while licking the cream from the top of your cocktail named 'The screaming orgasm'.
April was starting to get little shivers that had absolutely nothing to do with the temperature from all the little neck kisses. "Oh, I get that a lot, don't worry~" April knew she was hot, and not just in a physical way. She'd been around the block plenty enough to get confirmation.
"Are there many people as thirsty as you, honey?" As she said that, April set down her mostly finished drink, fishing the cherry out and popping it between her lips before gently tugging Juniper to her with the hand on her waste and planting a much more eager kiss on the flirty girl's lips.

April snorted in amusement, sipping more of her glass of sugar, cream and alcohol. April giggled shaking her head in amusement. "Confidence is good sweetie, the way I'm going I'm sure I'll be able to give you an appraisal."
Some girls might have inhaled part of their drink, or made a fool of themselves when being straight up propositioned like that. April was not those girls. "My my, you're so to the point." She mused, leaning back a little and drinking the site of Juniper.
"It can get a little rough, depends on the situation..." She purred. "I get the feeling you don't have a problem with things getting messy either?" There was equal parts sarcasm and tease in the blonde's tone.
April giggled again as Juniper planted a little kiss on her exposed neck, her high temperature flesh tingling a little at the contact.

April giggled a little this time, more girlishly. "Sweetie, I don't think nicer suits you, I think a little box of firestarting is exactly what you are." She purred, obviously teasing.
Snickering a little this time. "Well hotness in bed is pretty subjective, if you mean physically I'm sure you're at least one step up on luke warm for me." He was worlds hotter than other people, but April could absolutely handle the heat and she wasn't about to let up with the teasing, after his earlier snapping at the nice lady at the bar she figured he needed a little ego let down, before maybe a boost.
Snorting. "Oh yeah? Hardly noticed. That's interestin' though." She'd give him that at least. Other fire powers were very interesting, she didn't actually recall any she'd encountered.
Grinning back at the flicking blue firestarter April nodded. "Why not? Very' least I can show you some moves, maybe some more manors along the way~" She offered him her hand, she was a little unsure how the man registered temperature but if it was like her, she thought it'd be pretty obvious her body heat was higher than most peoples.

April grinned simply at the little giggling fit Shelby was going through. "I'm glad I could make you feel so giggly." She teased. "Everyone needs to cut loose and enjoy themselves 'time to time." April spoke while she moved over to a cupboard looking for glasses, she found them around the third cupboard and poured them both some water.
April took her own drink of water before chuckling at Shelby. "Need to stay hydrated, there might be more than one round cutiepie~" The blonde purred as she set down her own glass, moved back across to Shelby and placed the second glass of water just in front of the other woman, her one hand snaking up to little areas of Shelby's exposed skin, her nails trailing slowly again to send a little shiver up the woman.
"Mmmm, I could eat. Food I mean." She playfully kissed at Shelby's neck and leaned against her. "We've got the place to ourselves for at least a few more hours if not all night~"

April let out a silvery laugh. "Wow, you are a rare kind of cutie." She picked up her drink with one hand and took a sip from the straw. It really was sickly sweet, but that sort of worked when she was dealing with someone like Juniper. She was already feeling like a walking sugar rush anyway.
She put down her drink and giggled. "Honey, I never wonder where my pants went. I wonder why it took so long for them to get ripped off~" She purred, leaning closer as Juniper licked her lips to place a little peck on her lips, nibbling one of them a little before pulling back.
April snorted at that one. "You're not super smooth then, some of your lines do fall flat." It was actually kind of adorable, but it was fun to tease. She gently tapped her fingers now residing on Juniper's waist in a gentle rythmn.

"The best?" She raised an eyebrow in amusement, questioning the boast. "I'm not sure about gold stars, but I can give you some kind of appraisal, or some marks~" April purred, leaning towards the cute woman. She was so very forwards, it was super refreshing. Most people either took a bit to get on, or played around April's words a bit. It was rare that someone could keep up with April's breakneck pace of flirting, but she figured this little cutie could.
"Name's April, Juniper is such a name for a sweet 'lil thing like you~" Her hand slowly trailed up to Juniper's leg and trailed up her knee a little.

April glanced around the room a little as she placed her order, one or two of the bartenders snickered at her, the one that went to make her drink gave her an amused smile. Oh her lips looked so nice. And there was at least one other person that took note of her, she heard the clinking of glass that could only be liquid courage before a chair shifted.
"Oh, and she calls me pretty~" April purred, giving the drink a cursory little sip, looking back up with some of the cream on her drink around her lips.
April licked her lips just as the girl plopped down next to her, throwing her head back in an excited laugh, before turning to the woman that had just appeared out of thin air, stopping to size her up for a moment before meeting eyes.
"Are you now, sweet thing?" April raised an eyebrow and leaned a little towards the woman.
The bartender chuckled and rolled her eyes. "I'll leave you to it."

April had absolutely no problems taking the lead in a situation like the one they had just been in. Inexperience was cute, in its own way. And somebody that was eager and open to new things and learning was just a treat to teach. Shelby had definitely done well enough for April, and she was just so relentlessly cute that the blonde had a hard time holding herself back.
Shelby really personified affection and quirkiness to April, and that was just wonderful. As they appeared back in the apartment April stumbled a little against the counter, giggling and out of breath at the same time.
Her own clothing status was also questionable, it was a good thing Danny was out. Scooping up her phone and swiftly checking messages it was evident he would be working on a show for most of the night. Excellent, they had plenty of time to snuggle, eat something and perhaps go another round.
Incorrigible was a word.
April put down the phone and leaned her head back in another hearty laugh. Her skin was definitely a lot less marked than she’d left Shelby, unsurprisingly. April made eyes at the artist once again. “Not complanin’ honey~”

April chuckled. “Guess at least you’re experienced in something, I hope at least some of it is fun?” She tilted her head at him, observing and feeling the extra heat slowly radiating out from him. “Watch it tinderbox, you don’t want to get tossed out of here for singing the couch.” She warned.
April rolled the fire between her hands, it was really weird. Because she didn’t burn it was like she was playing with something physical, but not quite there. It wasn’t exactly like her own power either. For one thing it was much less hot. It was like holding a super hand warmer. She held it up to her face and cupped it against her cheek, closing her eyes for a few moments and just enjoying it.
“I take it you can’t turn it off then, Mr Tinderbox?” She queried, her voice almost a purr. April glanced up as he offered to buy a drink and shook her head in amusement. “Lemme. Way of saying thank you for the little treat~ And you’re close, but the two exactly exclusive, I can do both~” April stood up as the fire fizzled out for lack of anything to feed on.

One day, April would stop bar hopping. It felt like every person, every conquest shed met recently was at a bar, or a club. Funny how that worked. This particular one caught her attention, gay bars were so cool. Of course they existed, back in her memory. But they seemed to be much more prevalent now, 8 years later.
Maybe it was just that there were more people that were open about sexuality in New York than Orgeon? She didn’t really know, the only real way to check would be to go back and visit and April didn’t want to do that anytime soon. She’d not had any phone calls from her Mom or Dad, or other siblings yet and she was enjoying keeping it that way, so far at the very least.
So far, she’d spent the first half hour here chatting up a bartender. It was probably a fruitless endeavour, but April didn’t just flirt with people because she wanted something from them, it was as much because she thought they deserved to know they were beautiful, as she felt the need to express some of her desire.
“You’ll fit in here so well!” The bartender chuckled while some of her coworkers were serving others. “So are you going to have a drink, or just sit and make eyes at me all night?”
The bartender was taken, it was just a little bit of harmless flirting. April was pretty clear about that, and it was fairly obvious. “Oh, I’ll drink~ Could you recommend me something dripping in sugar, and perhaps slightly suggestive?” Honestly April mostly drank beer, but when in rome…
There were so many pretty people everywhere, and the bar wasn’t that busy. April had already chatted with a couple briefly, sadly the guys wouldn’t be interested in her. The ladies though, the ladies were a lovely sight.
April raised an eyebrow in amusement. "I'm glad you can. I'm starting to think it's a wasted effort, the person that asked me there was viewing me as somebody very different to I am now." even Danny had commented on how different April was as a 21 year old. She still had much more of the free-spirit she'd always had, apparently. She'd seen some photos on her phone, and locked in her draw. A few unposted selfies, and some X-rays too.
It wasn't hard for April to put 2 and 2 together about why she'd allowed herself to be de-aged, which she suspected was what had happened.
Laughing outloud again April replied "It's not hard for everyone, I'm pretty sure I was put on this earth to burn bright and spread happiness in one way or another to people, or at least show a bunch'a people that there is more to life than they think." her voice was pretty sincere, there weren't really mind games or tricks or deception with April. What you saw was what you got.
"Oh sweetie, I didn't think you were implying I was dumb at all. I thought you were suspecting something more nefarious." She actually wasn't sure, but she figured it was a good guess. He'd been somewhat on guard since she'd walked in, and he held himself like someone coiled up and ready to react to things.
Smiling sweetly April reached across and to pat his arm gently. "Honey, I'm not a reporter, I'm not a spy and I'm not some assassin. I'm just a lost, very sexy mutant."
"You are just the sweetest~" the last word came out like more a purr. "I'm doing a pretty good job thank you, but I appreciate the offer, and you."
