MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

HISTORY: Glare has been part of MRO for only a few months, but has taken active role in the Splitting the Union plot. He’s also taken part in the Medical Aid thread and created the fanfic “Beth’s Journal” (which is yet ongoing). NPC’s created by Glare include Nightdream (Beth) and the guard “Rack”. Glare also enjoys taking an active role in the “Outside the X-Men” forums.
POWERS: Glare a male mutant in his mid-twenties who has the ability to create and manipulate the compound of sulfur. He has been known to use this ability to forge items (like keys), create and control giant blocks of sulfur, fuse sulfur to items and then use that to move the items, and finally to mix the sulfur with water to create sulfuric clouds. The latter is definitely his most common use, and he can manipulate the clouds to manipulate acid rain as a weapon, and also create a glare (if the cloud is in the light) which can blind his opponents. In addition, Glare is essentially haunted by a mutant called Beth, who has infiltrated his dreams. This gives him a sort of foresight into the future.

(Fade was nice enough to do this shrine herself after my absense due to the fire at my home. *hug* Thanks, sweetie. Took ya long enough to finally send me the info though! Maybe that's why she did the shrine?! J/K! Love ya, hun. lol)
HISTORY: Fade has only been with Mutant Revolution online since April, but has incoperated her character into both the Fusionist and the Whitmore plots. She also has another character who is fairly new, for now, Millie aka Nightlight and has made Millie into the innocent, naive character that no one can stay made at.
POWERS: Fade can turn invisible, she can also turn other things invisible, but not that much stuff. Also, she has raptor-like claws that can phase though a wall and cling on inside the wall, allowing her to climb walls and celings without leaving any traces behind. HISTORY: Deltoid has been 'round only for a short while (beginning of June), but has been dedicated rper among the boards. He has recently participated in the defense of the mansion against Whitmore's goons. He has been 'round on a daily basis, and tends to keep with the posts.
POWERS: Deltoid heals fast. He takes a scrape and in a matter of seconds the scrape is healed. Which means he can take a licking and keep on ticking. He also houses a set of bone blades in his forearms which can be used to slice through just about anything softer than tough metal or stone. Though his most interesting power would be his ability to see 'life-auras'. He clicks on his power and he perceives the 'soul' of a living being as a green aura. Daria Strong
HISTORY: Daria has been rping for at MRO for a short while, but is one of the top posters on the board. She's recently become a member of the X-Men to fight against General Whitmore to get the red stone. Daria has also created a new character named Ruruki, who's moved into the mansion. POWERS: Daria is a 19 year old girl, living at the mansion. She's got a sarcastic sense of humor and the smarts to be a member of the X-Men. She's currently dating the character Cassiel, a former M.O.M. Daria's abilities include heightened senses because her mutation has made her into part cat. HISTORY: Lady J was the first member of Mutant Online when it was first started on a different site that was eventually shut down...though she was only a rp person there with the character, Tricity. After the site was falling apart, she asked around to the members of the site if they would like to vote on starting a new one. HISTORY: Straight from Cass: "I've been RPing for about three years, when I helped start another Xavier Institute RP site, which I helped moderate until it closed last year. I've been writing fanfics for about six years, both for D&D settings and X-Men based. Cassiel's my original character from my first site, modified slightly." THE ARCHER
HISTORY: The Archer, or real name: GarryC, has been a member of Mutant Online since the beginning when we had another forum before this newer one. He wasn't always The Archer as we know him now, for he was once Savior, Draven, and James/Kane on the old site plus he was also an admin. Derek Black is the only 'normal' human on this site. He is a super hero that fights crime at night and runs a Private Investigation business during the day. His super hero name is The Archer. He is skilled using a bow and baton along with having a utility belt full of other gadgets when he's going out to kick some criminal ass. HISTORY: Orion has been a member of Mutant Online since the beginning when we had another forum before this newer one about a year ago. He now is a global moderator, Goliath, looking over the points for attribute profiles of characters for the site. Here's some information about him: He, never backs down from a challenge, is Tricity's boyfriend, is centuries old because of his mutation, is the reincarnation of an Egyptian God, has a pet wolf named Archon, loves cars, trucks, and bikes, always works out and trains, helped save the mansion and its tenants several times, and helped rebuild the new mansion after it's destroyal.
