The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

"It’s all fun and games until somebody mutates." -Glare

HISTORY: Glare has been part of MRO for only a few months, but has taken active role in the Splitting the Union plot. He’s also taken part in the Medical Aid thread and created the fanfic “Beth’s Journal” (which is yet ongoing). NPC’s created by Glare include Nightdream (Beth) and the guard “Rack”. Glare also enjoys taking an active role in the “Outside the X-Men” forums.

POWERS: Glare a male mutant in his mid-twenties who has the ability to create and manipulate the compound of sulfur. He has been known to use this ability to forge items (like keys), create and control giant blocks of sulfur, fuse sulfur to items and then use that to move the items, and finally to mix the sulfur with water to create sulfuric clouds. The latter is definitely his most common use, and he can manipulate the clouds to manipulate acid rain as a weapon, and also create a glare (if the cloud is in the light) which can blind his opponents. In addition, Glare is essentially haunted by a mutant called Beth, who has infiltrated his dreams. This gives him a sort of foresight into the future.
