The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The jury, lawyers and attendants to the court rose to their feet as judge M. Roers entered the room and sat down. After a few preliminary and introductory words from the bailiff, prosecutor Miles D. Haxton was given right of speech to address the court and jury, to state the city's case.
The young prosecutor adjusted his tie as he stood up in an impeccable navy blue suit, wearing expensive, immaculately polished Hermes men shoes (size 10) and addressed the court.
"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I stand before you to ask that you deliver swift and decisive justice to the defendant of this case" he said, pointing at the red headed defendant sitting between her lawyers, his finger starting to shake with barely controlled rage. "This woman, Ms. Maxine Ralls, stands accused of providing entertainment and merriment to any bored web denizens who happen to stumble on her posts! Her words are laid out in such a way that you can't help but feel like you're having fun! She has spark, wit and her creative responses to her hapless victims will make them WANT to check for replies before brushing their teeth in the morning. BEFORE. BRUSHING. THEIR TEETH! I ask you, which is more important? A reply to a post or tooth decay!?"
Prosecutor Haxton moved to his desk and picked up a remote control which he used to turn on a monitor screen, where a webpage from a role playing website came into view.
"The prosecution will use Exhibit A to demonstrate beyond reasonable doubt how her machinations provoked an all out battle among denizens on a wasteland, how her words convinced an innocent group of helpless women to rise in arms against a peaceful town just because they didn't like their breakfast and craved berries instead! You will find several posts there from this woman! You will find her mastery with the written language exemplified in a most revealing fashion!"
A click from the remote and the monitor changed to a different thread in the same webpage.
"Not convinced? How about Exhibit B, then? In this piece, Ms. Ralls once again demonstrates her transfixing skills when she plays not just herself, but a twelve year old version of herself. Do you know what this means? A twelve year old Maxine! She ditches the violence, the action and the witty banter from Exhibit A and turns on the cute! That's a whole different market of reading victims right there! The cute-loving crowd! She is masterfully assisted by her partner-in-thread, but the level of detail she employs on her character, how she manages to make the reader believe she is indeed twelve yet with many of the traits of future Maxine, it will simply make you read through all four pages of that thread chuckling like a fool and wasting productive time you could have used at work, college or school! All those minutes, GONE! Forever! And the worst part is?... You will like it!"
Another flick from the remote and the website changed to another thread.
"And just in case you're thinking 'Oh no! She's a victim! She didn't do it, the others in the thread did! It was peer pressure!' then, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I present to you Exhibit C. This, is aaaaall Maxine Ralls and no one else. A dark tale of a woman making her own decisions, trying to find safety after the apocalypse. There are no jokes here, no witty banter and yet, she still grabs your attention and doesn't let go, her wicked words at work. All hers."
A click and the monitor was turned off. The prosecutor turned and stared into the eyes of the jury.
"You may have heard that she's an outstanding member of the community, always willing to help those in need, always quick to answer questions, as willing to joke and prank as she is to lay down the hammer of order and discipline, but even if all of that is true and my team could find no fault in it, you must take notice of all she has done and keeps doing! She is guilty of providing fun! Of helping with other accomplices to maintain an environment of creative writing! These actions and all the exhibits I have shown you should be proof enough that this woman deserves to be punished with your votes for Mutant of the Month!"
Prosecutor Haxton turns around, giving a fulminating, deep stare into Maxine's emerald eyes.
Sooo! I've been thinking and thinking about who it is I would like to nominate this month. I took a long, meaningful journey of discovery, met some monks, danced a few interpretative dances, and found inner peace.
...and then it hit me! I knew who I wanted to nominate!
Seyta! Our most favorite, loveable cbox-pants-stealing mutant!
She's been through the transformation from woman to chibi, in 'Hide and seek isn't fun...'. Kid!Seyta comes face to face with the realization that she'd not in Kansas anymore, toto, but thankfully there's a kindly Sledge around to help her out!
Then there's 'Just dance', In which she pulls the three strikes card on Sledge, and things get interesting. I gotta say, I love how sharp she comes across all the way through the interaction~
And last, but not least; 'The Invisible Artist' Set in the Age of Sebastion plot line, in which she sets about hilariously embarrassing her pit opponent; much to the joy of the crowd and one enthusiastic cockroach.
All together, I believe that Seyta has earned a nomination. Both in character and in cbox, he's a hoot to have around, and is a constant source of both entertainment and information. While I may not be the most eloquent or word friendly nominator, I hope I've managed to bring to light what a wonderful, creative character Seyta is!
