The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Alli and I thought we should have our own plot thread so we can discuss and workout any ideas us Amazons might have.
One topic I brought up is only a minor one, but I had asked Alli about our tattoos. Shoudl we all have one that signifies us as Amazons? From there we could have others of out choosing liek something that resembles each person or just a bunch of whatever you want things.
Something else that I thought of and wasn't sure if it had been brought up. What kind of facilities do we have in our fortress besides bedrooms, kitchen and dining area?
Modify: After posting this I found a tattoo for Syn and it's called The Sanctuary!
I'd originally pictured almost tribal tattoos--a lot of 'em, in a similar style, but not necessarily the same. I'm still going to have Maxine have a ton for funsies, but if you ladies would like to decide on a common one we all have, I'm game for that. Either way.
Facilities in the fortress: bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, closets--I'm essentially picturing a (small) castle made from bone. Right down to the lack of modern plumbing... If you have anything special in mind, just clear it with Issie (to make sure it's reasonable for her to have made it).
I was thinking they would be tribal like as well. Maybe Syn could have the tatt I found in the center of a tribal armband or something. I love the black heart with the skull, but maybe it could be a red skull. Hehe!
Facilities sounds like what I was imagining. Do we have a place to hold water since we have no plumbing?
Also, I was wondering if there are going to be any inter-Amazon threads.

WOAH HEADS UP EVERYONE Kaitlyn isn't just an Amazon -- she's actually a double agent for the Church of Everlasting life. Her true allegiance is to Sebastian, though she tries to make the Amazons think she's using her position as goddess for the Amazons' benefit.
The other Amazons might notice that Kaitlyn keeps her face covered whenever she fights alongside them. She tells them that if one of the Church members saw her, they might recognize her as their "Artemis" "Eris" and stop giving her "offerings" of useful supplies, and Sebastin might "take away her immortality," as she'd put it. (Also I'm operating under the assumption that very few people know how Sebastian's immortality actually works, outside of some of the CoEL's membership. This should be a closely-guarded secret.)
Kaitlyn regularly leaves the bone fortress. Sometimes, it's to gather supplies from them that they offer to her willingly. Sometimes, she's visiting with people she knows from the town, or trading. Sometimes, she might just take a stroll because she "can't sleep," she "wants some fresh air," or she "wants to spend some time alone."
Sometimes, she's just swapping notes, written in code, at a secret drop location somewhere within walking distance of the bone fortress. She often informs the Church of planned Amazon raids/ambushes, so that they can protect their own. They tell her if she needs to come back to help out against a non-Amazon raid, or if they need to have a chat with her about some specific plan of theirs.
Occasionally, with orders, help, and coordination from CoEL elements, Kaitlyn provokes fights with other raiding parties on the Amazon's behalf. As a result, the Amazons have been attacked by other raiders with "no provocation," as far as they're aware. The hope is that doing so will result in more dead raiders/Amazons, meaning fewer people who would target the Church / the Town.
I think it's reasonable to say that the Amazons are aware of Kaitlyn's defending the CoEL against non-Amazons. This would actually work in the Amazon's favor; dead growers are a bad thing, and keeping little "Artemis" "Eris" on the Church's good side can net them extra supplies in a pinch. She might have even gotten assistance from one or two other Amazons in this endeavor, though they might take precautions to "make it look like Kaitlyn wasn't expecting their help," more so the Amazons would be less likely to catch on to her shenanigans than anything else.
Some Amazons might wonder why Kaitlyn bothers running with the Amazons, when she'd have such a sweet deal going for her if she stuck around with the Church. Her answer: there are a lot of Amazonian Order members, and those old loyalties come first for her. They're the only family she has anymore, after all, and she knows those Church guys are just a bunch of crazy cultists. She'll admit that she'd been spying on them for Lori before the apocalypse, and she'll keep taking advantage of them now, for the sake of the people she really cares about.
Part of her feels like this is true. Another part of her would be more than willing to kill one or two of her "family," if it meant eliminating a danger to Sebastian's people.
With this all said, I think we could use this in threads!
If you're an Amazon who's gotten a reputation for causing too much unnecessary death or destruction. Kaitlyn might try to poison you / kill you discreetly. (But only if you volunteer OOCly, and it doesn't have to succeed)
I'm also considering a situation in which Kaitlyn tries to kill all of the Amazons at once by poking (not kissing!) Muse when everyone's around. If you're all cool with it, we could make it happen near the end of AoS. I also think she might do something to ensure that a few of the nicer or less dangerous Amazons don't get killed when she does this.
Perhaps you spot Kaitlyn leaving the fortress in the middle of the night / at some other time when most of the other Amazons wouldn't notice. You might decide to follow her, not knowing that she's headed for her drop spot to warn the Church about an ambush the Amazons are planning.
Maybe you want to join Kait in teaching a lesson to some raiders that, as she (falsely) claims, tried to kill her or do something else terrible to her.
There were some ideas about Allison being kidnapped by the ferals that would require her to be out by herself, which would need some explaining. Maybe she could be following Kaitlyn?
I like the big blast idea ^^, Aura could be in that if we do that ^^.Or Aura could follow kaitlyn and stuble on her church dealings. could be a lot of fun ^^
Repeating cbox ideas, since I don't trust myself to remember them tomorrow:
Allison is suspicious of Kaitlyn, and follows her out sometime. This leads Allison to be caught by the ferals (Kaitlyn presumably escapes somehow), and Chase to infiltrate the Amazons as Allison (without Kaitlyn's knowledge? Unless she is kidnapped to) while Allison is sold to Roach to fight in the death pit. Amazons will eventually catch Chase, who will probably pretend to still be a girl because survival, Allison fights in the Death Pit, and/or the Amazons go rescue her, which may or may not involve attacking Roach. (Roach hasn't been asked about this yet, beyond Allison getting captured and sent there.) Allison returns to the Amazons, Chase is who knows where, but Allison is still suspicious of Kaitlyn, and ends up following her again, and Kaitlyn kills or attempts to kill her to keep from being discovered. Since Aura will probably know that Allison was concerned about/suspicious of Kaitlyn at least, if not exactly where she was going before she disappeared, this will still cause problems for Kaitlyn, possibly ending in Kaitlyn and Koga attempting to kill/escape all the Amazons.
Personally, I would ask that you save an attack on the pit until after Roach attacks the amazons first. Whai? I plan to have Roach wait until most of the amazons are out, and kidnap Andy, and any other of you guys who might be interested throwing your characters into the pits for a round.
Keep in mind, Roach only holds captured mutants for one fight, so no characters would be gone long.
Thanks to Andrea and Jorge for my sigs! I WABBLE YOUUU! AV Roach~

Disregard everything I wrote about Kaitlyn disguising herself on raids.
I thought that was a good idea at the time that I wrote it up there. Keeping it in mind while posting for AoS made me realize how harebrained that was. She'd use the same powers during raids as she would use defending the Church. People would catch on really quick, and the Amazons would be stupid to think she was fooling anyone.
I guess the churchgoers at large would just have to think Kait's bipolar or something. And "removing immortality" would have to be an impossibility, as far as the Amazons would know~
...You've heard stories about me? Don't listen to them! It's safe to sit next to me, really!
Been thinking and I've decided that since Syn isn't as battle orientated as most of the rest of her sisters she shall be the Amazon's Inquisitor. *Smiles wickedly*

Lovely Amazonian ladies, for your consideration, we have a plot that may interest at least a small handful of you. I would be obliged if you took a look.
The Aura/Allison wedding thread should probably happen fairly soon, though at least for my personal timeline I'm thinking it'd happen IC a few weeks to a month after AoS starts. Who wants to be involved in that?
