Like a few others I'm just now getting to through all this. I would like to add the Synful one to this as well. As for the post-apocalyptic clothing goes, Syn already has many of those items in her current wardrobe. Just need to decide where she'll be with all of this.
I know it was already decided that Sarah was going to be with Celeste, but I just wanted to state: I am so EXCITED for this! I'm happy I came when I did so that I didn't miss this awesomeness ^_^

I am all hells of late to this party.
Firstly, Kaitlyn should end up as an amazonian, because hell yes. My plotting mind tells me that post-apocalypse Kaitlyn would be a scary person to run into, too.
Dorian could potentially end up with the coalition. But it might just be more fun to have a feral mutant mime running around all over the place. I'm not quite sure about him right now.
Also, about how the nuclear holocaust started, I have a thought. Kat and I have been shooting some PM's around for the oracle plot, and she ended up approving of me writing a solo post at some point in which Alister and Kait peek into the future, and find Kait using somehow-augmented powers to cause a nuclear-warhead-sized explosion and kill Sebastian. ('somehow' would probably be Muse-related, but I've been lazy and haven't PMed her about that yet because I'm leaving that solo until later.)
Potentially, this explosion might have prompted somebody in the US government to make a hasty decision to 'retaliate' against another country, and hilarity ensues. Would you all be okay with it if Kaitlyn was the one who started our apocalypse like that? I know the official stance so far is "let's handwave it," but I just thought I'd throw this out there.
In either case, it's not likely that many people would know about it. There could be more than a few conspiracy theories, what with the non-radioactive nature of the first "bomb," and Kaitlyn wouldn't exactly tell everyone she knew that she's the one who started a nuclear apocalypse.

Side note: this might only affect Mansion residents (Akshay, Ami, Maxine and Mirror as far as I know) but we decided it is wise to post it here:
In the past of the future, shortly after the first explosion in NYC, the Mansion has been attacked by a mob of people who blamed the mutants for everything. The remaining X's (and whoever else was there) fought to protect the people who took shelter in the Mansion (and its more strengthened areas such as the DR). This will only feature in flashback threads since it happens in 2012. Feel free to use it for your character's backstory at your convenience. Threads will be marked accordingly.
For all the survivors out there that do not have electricity, there is a green way to conserve food (mostly fruits and vegetables) without any kind of energy.
