The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Many of the people on the site do not have their attribute profiles in display on their signatures. Some few have the whole attribute profile, others just put a link to it. But there is not a way to quickly compare two profiles.
Under the general data such as karma, post count, avatar and stuff there is a empty space that can be used to put the attribute profile . This will free up much space for the coding of the signatures and will always display the attribute profile.
That way players can compare these really quickly.

If that's something that's possible to do, I would personally love that. I've encountered the same difficulty at times, hunting down the attribute profiles of the people I'm threading with. It would be great to have some more uniform way to view and compare the attribute profiles of characters.
Might just be easier to just somehow extend the character limit on the sig so we could put it there. It would be rather difficult to add another box to the side of the profile so everyone can put their own stuff in it. If I remember right, I'm not sure if there are any codes for that particular thing.
For those that use the attribute profiles more often than not, maybe some sort of extention of the sigs character limit might be a good idea.

Is it the fact that people sometimes like to put quotes in their sig that makes it difficult for them to also put their attribute profile? Because I've never had an issue having enough characters to place mine there.

Calley
From the coding perspective: putting custom text in the side-bars tends to be really, really glitchy. Some of you might remember that Karma used to be called a custom name, and we had a "Mutation Description" section there for a short time after the MRO 2.0 update--those were both taken out because they glitched up and started causing problems. We've tested most of the coding available in this area, and it just doesn't seem to consistently work, unfortunately.
Character limit in signature area wise: I would love to extend the character limit (I feel your pain, Em! I've got two images and an archive link and a quote in Calley's sig!), but haven't yet found any coding that accomplishes that, and Proboards itself provides no easy option that we've yet found. If anyone knows of a way around this, do tell: I'd love to take it over to our test site and play around with it.
For the moment, a cheater's tip to weasel more character room, sort of: use tinyurl to make your links smaller. That's what I do with mine--things would never fit otherwise. It adds in about a second or two of extra load time since it works by redirecting you through the little link to the real link, but nothing too bad, that I've noticed.
And do remember that as far as those tidy attribute signature bars go... I dare say more than a few MRO artists can make 'em. (Also, there's no real need to have them displayed at all--I never did, until Ghosty and Kat suddenly started making a pretty way to display them--until then, I just linked my attribute profiles at the top of my character profiles, to make them easy to find. Whether you display 'em or not is purely a matter of taste.
I suspected it had something to do with the coding. That space was suspiciously empty and I thought that perhaps something can be added there. But apparently it is almost impossible. Thats really sad, that empty space is really annoying hehe.
