The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

A little fox with bright green eyes ran through central park on a mini rampage. She wasnt causing trouble purposely its just a few older women gasped when they saw the six Inches tall Fox chassing off the Pigeons.
The fox ran and jumped, chassing after various bugs when she saw two girls sitting besides one another on a bench. She saw one of them was wearing brightly colored shoelaces. The little fox growled as she stalked the shoes before pouncing on the shoe laces, playing with them.
She hardly noticed the girl the were attached to she was just content with defeating her stringy foe.
The Sonic Sisters sat on a bench in Central Park, on the other side from where they'd redecorated the fountain. For once the pair was actually trying to keep a low profile, mainly due to the fact that they were in no condition, or mood, for a fight.
Vibe's whole upper half was aching, making it uncomfortable to move much. Though Kaz's friend had healed the gashes, the area still hurt dully, and itched. Amp had been threatened with breaking her ankle if she didn't stay off of it, which also ached despite the healing. On top of it they were still sulking over the news broadcast. All in all, the girls were far from happy.
A pair of joggers approached, talking in between breaths. The girls heard them coming long before they came within site.
"Did you hear... about that bill... going through... Congress? The one... about mutant... camps?"
"Yeah.... It's about time.... someone put them.... in their place. Why should... they be able to.... tear up our.... city without paying.... for it... somehow? They should just... ship ‘em all... overseas.... somewhere. Maybe the Middle... East.... or Antarctica....."
"I agree. They don’t feel.... anything.... anyway. Maybe now we’ll... get some peace.... and quiet here....”
”I’ll show ‘em peace and quiet,” Amp growled under her breath. A moment later one of them cursed aloud as feedback pierced their ears, and their iPod began sparking before it fried itself. The pair paused, cursing the manufacturers before moving on. Vibe rolled her eyes and leaned back, sighing.
>Do you think that bill will pass?<
“I dunno. But I dare anyone to try and put me in some camp. Pfft! They’ve got no clue how many mutants they’re dealing with. I doubt any of them will go quietly.”
Vibe nodded, but her face was worried. Amp shook her head and scoffed, trying to lighten her sister’s mood. ”Don’t worry Vibe. Even if the bill passes, they wouldn’t be able to carry it through.”
In sync the twins sighed, and leaned their head’s back again. After a moment, Vibe suddenly cracked one eye open. She nudged her sister.
>Check it out. We’ve got a visitor.<
Amp sat up and looked down. A little fox was nearby, body close to the ground like a hunting cat. The girls watched curiously, and eventually the little creature attacked Vibe’s shoes. Or rather, her shoelaces. It took all of her willpower not to move, but it quickly became clear the little fox was simply interested in attacking the laces. Twin grins spread over the girls faces.
”Hey half-pint, those aren’t for eatin’ ya know?” Amp chuckled. She reached down to tickle the fox’s big ears, expecting to get a nip in return, but not caring. The little creature was cute enough to ignore any nips.
The little fox's ears twitched a little bit when Amp reached down to pet them. She looked up , ears flattening a bit. The timid fox then noticed her big fluffy tail and began to chase it.
When Ruby caught the fluffy tail she sat up a bit more and began swatting at the fingers with tiny paws. It was clear to see this small fox was friendly, if not domesticated acting.
"Yip Yip!" Ruby yelped, looking for Amp to play back.

Both girls chuckled a bit at the fox pup's antics.
>I think it thinks its a dog<
"Yeah it does. Cute."
Amp continued to wriggle her fingers, playing like one would with a kitten or puppy. Eventually she couldn't resist, and reached down to pick the pup up. It seemed friendly enough, but she moved slowly, just in case it decided to bite.
>I didn't know there were foxes here?<
"Hey, it's New York. We have everything from werewolves to vampires. What big deal is a fox? At least this ones not trying to kill us."
>Yet.< But Vibe's grin showed she was joking. The girls were actually enjoying themselves.
The fox yipped as she was picked up. She was now in the shorter haired girls arms. She looked up at her, ears flat. Her eyes were big as she looked between the two girls. Her large fluffy tail curled around her small body making her look like a stuffed animal.
Ruby wiggled a bit in Amps grip, trying to get in more of a comfortabl position.

Amp set the little pup in her lap, giving it the option to jump back down if it wanted. Vibe took out her scrunchie and wriggled it in front of its nose. She'd seen Isabel do the same for the little black and white fur ball that she and Amp were so fond of. Amp nudged her.
"I thought you didn't like animals?"
>I don't like cats. And I don't like dogs.<
"Well this is a dog. Sort of."
>Maybe. But she's cuter than a dog.< Vibe stuck her tongue out at her sister, and ignored the rest of her teasing. Amp simply laughed.
After a bit, Vibe sighed. Her sister looked at her.
The fox looked at the scrunchie and stuck her muzzle through it. Her eyes widened a bit, quickly removing it with her paws. She stumbled back over her own paws, then looked up at the girls curiously.
Ruby looked at Vibe sensing something was wrong and she licked the girls hand before looking up at her sympathetically.
Ruby yipped, tilting her head to the side and in an attempt to make Vibe be happy she walked on all fours before tripping rather commicly, landing upside down to Vibe.

Vibe laughed silently as the fox tripped into her lap. She tickled her belly a bit.
>I wish our lives were this simple. No ignorant humans trying to put you on a leash, just because you're different, huh pup?<
"Vibe, no one's going to put a 'leash' on us." Her sister made the 'quote, unquote' sign with her fingers. "They've been talking about this stupid law since we were little. Don't you remember that teacher who kept preaching about how mutants are flawed, like someone born without legs?"
>Mr. Griswold?< Vibe scoffed. >He was an idiot twice over.<
"You bet he was. And that was second grade! Humans are just too stupid to get that bill passed. And even if they did, who's going to enforce it? The only people who can stand up to mutants are other mutants. Do you really think the badges are going to sit back and let what happened at KP go global?"
A slight grinned tugged at Vibe's mouth. >Now that would be a trip...<
"Major chaos high," Amp agreed with a chuckle. "See what I mean? Never gonna happen. Those Xdweebs can preach equality all they want, but its never gonna happen, because humans are too dumb to realized they're outclassed. Maybe if they keep ramming their heads against the wall, they'll finally figure out we're here to stay. With or without their permission."
Amp paused to take a breath. She wasn't usually so talkative, even to her sister. But then again, Vibe was usually this depressed or worried, and Amp felt a need to reassure her.
She turned to tickle the fox pup's ears again. "How 'bout you tell her? Maybe she'll listen to the one with the cute ears and tail," she teased.
Ruby yipped happily as she was scratched. She listened to the girls talkig about the act and she stiffened a bit, she had heard about it she was nervous about it as well. She watched as two boys passed Amp and Vibe before backing up.
they smiled lewidly at the twins, causing the fox to puff up her fur and growl in an attempt to be intimidating.
"Hey you ladies are looking foxy today, how about ditching the furry thing and partying with some real animals?"
Ruby growled a bit more jumping on the seemingly lead guys shoe and tore at his ankle fiercly. The guy grabbed the pup by the scruff and threw her to the side, causing her to yelp. The fox let out a small whine before running rather quickly, though limping a bit and stood infront of the bench, puff out her fur again they werent gonna take away her new friends that easilly.
((The guys are NPCs so feel free to do whatever to them.))

The twins watched as the two boys walked by then retraced their steps. It didn't take a telepath to figure out what was going through their minds, not with those ugly mugs. At first the girls merely ignored them, though Vibe was trying not to laugh at the pup, who also seemed to be taking offense.
"Hey you ladies are looking foxy today, how about ditching the furry thing and partying with some real animals?"
Vibe rolled her eyes. >Show us some 'real animals', and we might consider it.< Amp snickered. Both girls continued the cold shoulder.
The fox pup, on the other hand, seemed like she wasn't too happy about the 'furry' comment. Matching smirks lit the girls' faces as the little creature growled and tore into one of the guys' shoes. Served him right.
Then he picked her up and tossed her aside. That's when it got ugly, for the creeps.
Vibe jumped off of the bench and scooped up the fox pup, moving around behind the bench, glaring evilly at the boys, and began tapping her foot. Amp narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms, not getting up. She fixed both jerks with a solid glare. Given the color of her eyes, it wasn't surprising that they backed off a few steps.
"So ya wanna be party animals, huh? Then don't let us stop you."
On cue a flock of pigeons swooped down and covered both jerks, pecking at their eyes and ears, and general using them as birdie litter boxes. As an added bonus, Amp sent her signature high pitched squeal through their skulls. One of them, while try to fight off the sudden onslaught, became sick from the high-sound. When he opened his mouth, as if to vomit, one of the birds landed a lovely little present right down his throat.
Amp stood up and began walking away, without letting up on either attack. Vibe followed her, still holding the fox protectively. She stroked the little thing's paw.
>C'mon Foxy. Let's see what we can do about that little nick.<
By the time the girls were far enough away for their attacks to fade, both jerks were covered in goop and feathers, and had revisted their lunches several times over. That, and their ears would be ringing for hours afterwards.
Ruby looked up at Vibe letting out a small whimper. It looked like she twisted her paw a bit when she fell. She had a small gash on her forehead from when she landed and a bit of blood was running down it. She licked her new friends chin, looking up at both of them.
"Yip yip!" Ruby yelped, translating to 'Did I do good?' The pup looked up after both of them questionigly

"I think she likes you Vibe. Go figure?" Amp teased.
Vibe stuck her tongue out at her sister. She paused by a watering station, and wetted a paper towel to clean up the little cut on the pup's face.
"I swear, humans are such jerks," Amp grumbled, arms still crossed. "You know, I hope they do try to put that bill through. It'd serve them right to get their kiesters kicked."
Vibe frowned. She didn't have the same confidence as her sister. She'd always been the least confident of the pair, since Amp was the one with the 'firepower'. Sure, Amp relied on her for her strength, but Vibe still felt uneasy about the entire situation.
The fox kit attempted to lick the water off of vibes towel, squirming a bit. She was attempting to cheer the older girl up, in order for her to be happy again. She was playing really, she was having fun.

Vibe's expression lightened a bit as the pup kept squirming.
>You sure are a friendly kit.< Finally she set the fox down, smiling a bit. >I wonder if she would stay at the Sanctuary with us?<
"She might," Amp replied, crouching down to play with the pup. "I don't know if Office Barbie would like it, but I doubt she'd say anything about it. Checkers might not like her though. I don't think cats and foxes get along."
>Even more reason to keep her.< Vibe didn't even bother to disguise her dislike of the black and white pest that Amp seemed so fond of. >Ah well. Guess we'd best get back. See if Syn decided to send that Haywire water or not. If she doesn't, I say we do. See how Mr. Bill Passer likes that. Later Foxy.< Vibe smiled and tickled the pup's belly, then started to walk away. Amp smiled and winked at the fox.
"See? I told you she'd listen to you. Nice work. Too bad you aren't a mutant too. See ya Foxy." She turned to catch up with her sister.
Ruby's little ears drooped down a bit when they started to leave. She used her enhanced hearing to scan for anyone around, and oddly enough no one was around. Ruby smirked in her fox form before turning into her human form.
She wore her jeans and her white t shirt with a robot on it. Since no one was around her fox ears and tail were in full view. She looked at the girls who werent to far away. She scampered up to them comming up next to Amp.
"See I am a mutant.... But I will have to put my hat on when i get out on the street though, my ears are a bit noticable." She said to them with her normal adorable thirteen year old smile.
