The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

So the plans to ruin the name of that white haired unicorn were continuing on as planned. His slaughtering of that family of anti-mutant supporters had made the papers and were already making people twitchy. But there were always ways to make people even more twitchy. One of them was the assumption that maybe, just maybe, the blood thirsty unicorn was armed with more than mere swords and mutant powers. Throw in a few grenades and rocket launchers and people will be screaming for the authorities to do more than just sit on their thumbs.
Vicente smirked. So far things were going extremely well. He was reveling in this job far more than he should have but he simply could not help it. The thought of actually committing these acts and have it be blamed on someone else just made him grin.
But this job was going to be tougher. He couldn’t just walk into a military surplus store and carry things out on his motorcycle. He was going to need help. A quick call was placed to the boss’ secretary, that blonde tart that infuriated him so much, and he called in what resources he would need: an untraceable van and someone to help him carry the stuff out. He had expected some low level thug to be helping him out. Instead the blonde over the phone told him that she would arrange for him to rendezvous with someone she trusted. A young woman by the name of Aura…
Quickly Vicente was learning that he could not just assume anything about these people. If the blonde said that she would be helpful then he was going to simply have to believe it.
Driving the large, black, unmarked van through the city, Vicente kept an eye out for the corner he was supposed to meet Aura at. Dressed in his usual Sebastian costume (long black coat, black pants and shirt, with katana swords strapped to his back), the assassin turned into the designated street and slowed the van down.
He had not yet to shifted into his unicorn disguise, the pony head. That would have to wait until they got to their destination since his vision was not entirely the best when it came to that. He sure hoped that whoever this Aura was that the blonde had informed her of what was going down.
Eyeing the street corner he was told to meet his contact at, Vicente slowly the van to a stop and peered out. At a glance he could see nothing so, he parked and would wait. She should show up eventually or this was going to be his shortest job ever…
Aura Had been out of action the past month. Not froma lack of work, but becuse her return to the forest, had hurt her more then even now she understood. Aura knew she was diffrent, the normelly calm Aura found herself shifting between emotional extreams. Some might have been paralyzed, Aura however knew of just one way to focus emotions she knew not how to confront, rage and combat. Focus on the mission and ignore it as long as she could.
When Aura had been given a mission, she had agreed immmediately. Looking around the shatterd remians of the oak furnature that was less then three weeks old. Aura had decided to stop making it from the local population, as even she agreed it simply took to many bodies, half of which she ahd to abandon before she could extract anything. Cops had a starnge habit of not looking the other way when you had a femur in your hand.
Aura's raven hair sweapt behind her, the longest strands reaching a few inches above her butt. She was also wearing dark Sunglasses. She had a black fitted hoodie, half zipped with a pink t-shirt peeking out from under it and jeans on, to any that did not know her, and perhapse watched littile news, she looked like a harmless teenage girl. The strange thing She did carrey however, was a five foot long case maybe two feet high. It was heavy for Aura, but she understood this was a millitary store and So Aura natrully assumed they would be fighting many people with large automatic rifles. She decided to be prepared.
She knew not of the man she was to work with, but was told she would know him by the order van he would be driving. So she walked to the designated place and quickly saw the van, and confirmed it by reading the plate number's. The tinted windows prevented her from seeing the driver, but she gave a wave to the van anyway. Walking up to the passenger side door, she opened and slipped herself and her case in the van, a smile given to Vicente as she moved into the cabin, and opened the case, within she extracted her own Sword, The sword held a gentile curve, as Aura slipped it onto her back, in a scabbard that was no more evident with her long hair. The case also held several Pipe bomb's which well prolbely not deadly, Aura found useful,s he shut the case and slipped into the passenger seat.
"At last a mission with some fun, I am Aura as you know, Lori sent me." She said her voice sounding blunt. "I must confess however she left out what your power was, forgive the rudeness, but i like knowing what those who im trusting my back to can do" She said keeping the tone but smiled, pink seemed to flow out from her eyes, and quickly wrapped around her head, then flowed down from her neck, but then her Aura Simplt appeared around the rest of her. She then raised her hand, and the Aura around her hand seem to extend out untill it formed an eight inch blade from the ends of her finger tips, the sword, then seemed to bloat at the sides and quickly formed an axe. "My aura is sheild and weapon" she explained, pride entering her voice.
Aura would trust Vicente simply becuse she had been told to do so, by virtue of having been paired with him. She slipped the glasses off and looked around the van. "been awhile since i was within one of these" she said honestly.
Vicente did not have to wait long for his contact to appear. But that did not mean he was not surprised by her. The passenger door opened and in climbed a young teenage girl that looked about as savage as a white mouse inside of a child’s cage. She didn’t look at all like the type of person that he was going to need for his mission and yet here she was, entrusted with this job. A cursory glance at her and to Vicente she really, REALLY did not look like much. As a matter of fact she could have easily been confused for just some kid looking to hitch a ride.
He would have actually assumed as much about her if it were not for the words that fell from her mouth as she spoke…
>> "At last a mission with some fun, I am Aura as you know, Lori sent me…I must confess however she left out what your power was, forgive the rudeness, but i like knowing what those who I’m trusting my back to can do"
Vicente watched her as she climbed into the back. A flash of silver in the moonlight and the assassin immediately spied that she was uncovering a sword that she had been carrying this whole time. She slid it into a sheath strapped to her back and it disappeared under the dark length of her hair. Once she was done with that she had climbed into the passenger seat and flashed him a trusting smile. Still Vicente had said nothing.
Then his voice left him as he watched a demonstration of the young girl’s powers. He saw that flash of pink in her eyes, followed by an aura of it that formed around her hand and extended out into a deadly looking blade. Then, just as quickly as it had appeared, it disappeared.
>> "My aura is shield and weapon"
“I can see,” Vicente said in a slightly impressed manner. Maybe she would prove to be useful after all.
>> "Been awhile since i was within one of these"
So she wanted a demonstration of powers? Well, that was not difficult to understand. After all, she worked for someone like Lori, they needed to be able to trust one another. Mutants trusting mutants was apparently a big plus for whatever organization Lori’s boss ran. And judging by Aura’s demonstration she was not someone to mess with. He was going to require her trust if they were going to pull this job off.
Grinding his teeth, Vicente focused on his right arm (which was closest to her so she could get a good view) and began to shift. The van was filled with the sounds of bones cracking, breaking, and reforming themselves into a longer shape. His human flesh began to turn jet black and fur sprouted up as it elongated and grew far more muscular before the girl’s eyes. Within moments his right arm had changed completely from the normal arm that had been there mere moments ago. Now, instead, his arm was that of a very powerful, mountain gorilla’s. He clenched and unclenched his fist in front of Aura as he smirked.
“Let’s just say, my power, keeps me in touch with my wild side,” he muttered. Reaching down, he ignited the engine and drove into the street. “Let’s get this show on the road…” he said with a wicked smirk…
Aura smiled as she watched the man's arm change, her fascination with the man's powers was evident. Aura loved to watch Mutant powers, each one a different gift from the goddess. She had no idea what Animal Vicente changed his arm to. The strength in that arm, however was easy to see. She resisted the urge to probe forward however, as she was curious as the the extent of the man's powers, but if he acepted this mission alone and Lori had seen fit to send just her to help out, then it meant he was likely good in a fight.
"Beautiful, I never tire of seeing the wondrous gifts our people have. Rarely do i see to that are even close to one another. " she said as she shifted her focus to the front of the van. "I am eager to begin as well, Do you have a plan?" she asked curiously. Aura had no idea what this place looked like, either way Aura preferred the direct approach, more so when it came to humans.
"Humans so rarely give a decent fight though" Aura said with a shrug. "But their like rat's, theirs a an endless supply of the vermin" Aura said her voice leaving it pretty clear her opinion of humans. Her hatred of their kind had only risen with with events she had recently experienced. Humanity had much to pay for in the teenager's strong opinion. Aura only then considered she did not actually know who owned this place or if their would be guards. It was a store however she reminded herself and figured it might be where the army sold equipment. Though Aura thought it odd that if such weapons were available, why more humans were not better armed.
Vicente growled as the pain subsided from the shifting. His gorilla arm was massive and muscular and just exuded power. Despite the length, he still managed to get a firm grip on the steering. He had driven a time or two with his arm like this so he was quite used to it. He turned off into the street and made his way towards the military surplus store that he had picked out for this particular endeavor. It was secluded enough so that it would bring down the entire weight of the New York’s finest upon his head, but still large enough to really draw some attention, especially by passer-bys eager to upload videos to their ViewTube accounts.
Oh yes, Sebastian was not going to like what this little conquest would do to his name. If anything he would be lucky if the National Guard was not called in to trample him underneath a tank. The blonde ought to be pleased with that…
>> "Beautiful, I never tire of seeing the wondrous gifts our people have. Rarely do i see to that are even close to one another…I am eager to begin as well, Do you have a plan?"
He had to admire her awe over his mutation. He always figured that mutants were simply humans gifted with the powers granted to them by the gods. Vicente himself believed, sincerely, that that was how the world was now. The gods chose him for the specific purpose of bringing their word and actions to the rest of the world. To bring down the Authority that held a stranglehold over the mainstream religions.
But such was not his purpose this night. Yet, he appreciated the girl and her wondrous reaction to his powers. Her’s were definitely just as impressive.
“We’re working on destroying someone’s name,” he said in reference to her question for a plan. “We break in, start loading up, let a couple humans film, take out any guards that get in our way, then we exit. Simple as that.”
>> "Humans so rarely give a decent fight though…But they’re like rat's, there’s an endless supply of the vermin"
He grinned as he continued to look ahead, surveying the road in front of him. Her opinion was one that he greatly agreed with. Though he believed that everyday people had their uses, after all how else was he to be expected to get paid, he knew that they did little more than get in the way. They were expendable. But mutants, well, sometimes they deserved a chance to prove that their pathetic lives were worthwhile.
“Simple plan, really,” he said with a smirk.
Turning another corner he watched the street signs slip by until finally he saw the one street that he was looking for. At the end of the lane he could see the faded neon words that flickered out the store name “Uncle Sam’s Military Surplus”. He smirked to himself as he made a beeline for the store, under the dead of night…
Vicente's word's told Aura much that was not in his words. They were destroying a man's name and to be on film. Lori's choice made sense, she was pretty durable and with her reputation, the man's name would be questioned. Aura did not watch the news but she had learned the average reaction of cops who stumbled upon her, even a few who pretended they did not see her at all. Aura also reasoned that it had been awhile since she actually recalled robbing anything. "I see, Lori chose for skill and reputation then" Aura said pride in her voice. She enjoyed the idea that her skills were being noticed.
"Take out the guards and loot the place. Simple enough of a plan, im guessing we are aloud to kill, as were ruining a man's reputation" She said, her words as much a question as something she believed and hoped to be true. Aura was in need of some serious stress relief and she was believing this would be it. Still she knew with Lori every outing was not an excuse to kill and Aura's recent revelations weighed heavily on her mind as well.
Aura saw the store, and without any elegance at all her, Aura surrounded her, thin at first but quickly thickened and then formed the sharp angled surfaces that Aura used to better deflect gunfire. It was best to be prepared in her opinion.
She glanced over and took notice of the swords he carried. "Are you good with those sword's?" she asked casually as they neared their destination, the neon sign growing bigger as they sped closer. Aura knew she could use a formal teacher in the art of the sword, but she knew few with the skill to teach. Aura wanted to master the craft as a way to deflect blows from her aura itself. Aura had bought several video's on the swords skill but was entirely self taught.
>> "I see, Lori chose for skill and reputation then"
“I can only assume,” he replied.
Vicente smirked along with his words. He did not speak to Lori for too long but he was beginning to respect the little tarts choice in partners in crimes. So far this Aura was proving to be rather enjoyable to be around. She was ready to get to work and she had absolutely no qualms about doing any of it. As a matter fact, where most people would see the ruining of another’s name as unsavory, she was taking great pride in the notion. He most definitely had to respect her for that. Maybe this little partnership was going to work out far better than he had hoped.
He eyed the surplus store up ahead. From the looks of it, and the neighborhood, everything looked rather quiet. Though he was sure that the store must have had at least a couple of guards. After all, you don’t just leave a military surplus store unguarded, in the middle of an urban setting. That would have just been stupid.
>> "Take out the guards and loot the place. Simple enough of a plan, I’m guessing we are allowed to kill, as were ruining a man's reputation"
“So long as we leave at least one or two alive to tell the tale,” he grinned.
It was quite surprising how entertaining Vicente was becoming with this job. Normally he didn’t care and he did it only for the money. Anything to keep his coffers filled up and to appease his gods and goddesses. But the simple fact that he could actually see the misery he was going to cause this man, whom he did not know in the least, only made the assassin grin all the deeper. He didn’t know who Sebastian was, or even if the man deserved this ruin to his good name.
Vicente surely was enjoying it though.
>> "Are you good with those swords?"
“I can hold my own with them,” he confirmed with a nod.
Ever since he first found out about this job, Vicente had been training nonstop until he was at least decent with the katana blades. Though he was more used to his throwing knives, he was not afraid to learn a new trade or two. Sebastian was known for carrying swords, or at least that is what he had been told. That was why Vicente decided to use a pair of katanas. They may have not been exactly the same but a sword is a sword to terrified people.
Pulling the vehicle temporarily to a stop, Vicente sighed as he eyed the surplus store. Few guards, a couple of residences around, this event was definitely going to be making it onto the news tonight. Cracking his neck to the side to loosen up, he glanced at Aura again.
“Excuse me while I slip into the disguise…” he explained.
Vicente growled as he willed the shift to happen. Painfully the bones underneath the skin of his face shifted and cracked. Much in the same manner that his arm had done when he first displayed his powers, instead it was localized to only his head. His black hair shifted white and grew long as his face elongated and the eyes began to shift positions. Before long, Vicente let out a gasp as he finished the transformation.
His haggard, diabolical looking human features had been completely replaced with that of a startling, and shockingly beautiful, white pony. He sneered as he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out the custom-made “unicorn” horn and strapped it securely to his forehead. Once he was sure that it was immovable, he nodded to Aura.
“Time to get to work. Make sure your seatbelt is on,” he cautioned.
Slowly Vicente moved the car down the road before stopping in the middle of the street, directly facing the surplus store. He then maneuvered the vehicle so that the back of the van faced the store front, almost as if he was going to change his mind and drive away. But that would not come to pass. Once he was sure he was aligned with the store, Vicente grinned wickedly as he peered over his shoulder, tightened his seat belt, slipped the vehicle into Reverse and quickly slammed down onto the gas
SCREEEEEEEEEEEECCCCHHHH!!!
The screaming tires tore through the night as the van suddenly lurched backwards, through the street, and plowed through the front glass and chain-like cover of the store’s window. Glass shattered easily and allowed the back of the van entrance into the building.
CRRRRRAAAAASSSH!!!
Glass shards sparkled into the air like tiny diamonds dotting the very space around the van and glittered over everything within.
"Good, It is far easier not to have to worry about silly thing's like a non lethal strike. I will however make sure at least one lives." she said with a smile. A nearly open call to rampage, it was glorious. Having to keep a target alive was simply dangerous as they could get up and attack later. Still She also knew the fear the Humans would feel with this act complete. Humans needed to fear mutants the same way a deer feared the hunter, it was natural.
"I see, i picked up the skill some time ago, but i'm self taught and finding a skilled non-human teacher is rough" she said shaking her head a bit. The better she was with the sword the more effective she would be in a fight. Aura decided however now would be a bad time to ask him to take on the role, for payment. They already had a job to do and their focus would better be spent on that, she glanced back at the case and considered the pipe bombs. She discarded the idea, anything in there was likely to be more effective then anything she made by hand.
Aura watched as Vicente began to transform his head, her eyes looking curiously over the changes to his face as they happened. She knew the animal, as she had them a few times while coming back and fourth from the northern forest. The horn however was considerably less glorious, in her eyes and she stopped watching as he put it into place. .Aura decided to go with her own preparations, from each of her wrists, 6 inch blades formed, this but wider then her wrist by an inch on each side.
Aura said nothing but checked to make sure her seatbelt was secure, it was, she also placed her left hand at her side, she wanted to exit the van as quickly as possible. The glass grew bigger and bigger and then the sound of shattering glass could be heard falling around the van. As Soon as the van stopped, Aura's seatbelt was off and her hand
Opening the door next to her, she heard the crunch of Glass under her Aura, ignoring this her eye's swept the place. She soon saw a guard who came running, he seemed stunned and Aura knew right away he had no idea what was going to on. Aura rushed the man, and his eyes grew wide as he realized just who she was, but he raised his gun to late and Aura buried her sword's into the man aiming for his lung's, the man dropped moments later. He would not be the one to tell this tale, She moved toward the front of the van, it seemed these fools had realized they were under attack or at least assumed so.
The glass shattered and Vicente was quickly to open the driver’s side door and hop out of the van. Vicente had taken the time to shift his gorilla arm back to his human flesh and bone and decided to simply keep on the unicorn disguise. After all, Sebastian was never seen sporting any extra animal parts so he needed to keep up the illusion.
As soon as he had exited the vehicle he stormed into the surplus store behind Aura. Reaching back, he pulled the pair of katana blades from their sheathes and narrowed his eyes as he watched the first guard already go down thanks to Aura. His heavy boots crunched the glass underneath as he walked into the store, the swords in his hands gleaming in the dull light from the street. He eyed the corners, looking for more security guards. A surplus store in this neighborhood was sure to have more.
And of course he was right.
Another trio of guards emerged from a back room. One ran to the aid of the one which had fallen thanks for Aura, and the other pair ran down the aisle to face himself. A grin appeared on his horse head as he eyed the pair which quickly began to procure a pair of guns from their waists.
“Get down on the ground Freak!!” one screamed out as he hefted his gun up and pointed it directly at Vicente.
The other trembled as he held up his own pistol, his eyes training down Vicente’s features. “I-Is that…the unicorn? T-The one that opened fire at that college?”
Vicente smirked and held up his hands which still gripped the swords. Though it was obvious that his move was not relaxing the security guards in the least, the assassin was thankful for that. It was not supposed to make them calm.
“Drop the swords! NOW!” the less nervous one screamed.
“Of course,” Vicente muttered as he raised his arms in a motion to drop the blades. But before he could he suddenly lashed out with one hand and set the sword flying through the air like a missile.
The older man didn’t have a chance. Even as he tried to turn away to dodge, it was too late since the blade found its target within his chest. He screamed out, setting off a gunshot off the side while his partner squeaked and watched him fall. A gasp fell from his throat as he turned back and raised his own gun back to the unicorn but he took far too long before deciding his action.
Vicente charged the second the first man began to fall with a sword protruding from his chest. His remaining sword in hand, Vicente spun fast before bringing the blade down with all his strength down onto the remaining hand which held the gun out.
The bloody screams that filled the air were done in such horror and pain that anyone passing would have trembled in terror. Vicente did not so much as shutter though. His opponent now so thoroughly…disarmed…proved to be of little danger now. Vicente merely narrowed his large eyes as he stared down at the panicked, pain riddled man. Once he caught his eye Vicente suddenly threw his head down and bashed into the guard’s forehead, effectively knocking him unconscious. He would do well for a survivor.
Returning to the other man, Vicente retrieved his blade and looked up to see what trouble Aura was getting herself into…
The second who came to stop her, stopped just in time, Aura' reformed her sword into a hammer in mid swing. She was unsure if Vicente was leaving the guard alive or if she was. She missed and the slightly dirty, shelfing unit paid the price, as Aura put a hole in the wooden structure. the clinking of metal on metal echoed through the place, but did not cover up the man's shot's he fired at Aura. The two bullets deflected through the store. Holding pistol the man knew he was outmatched but training told him we would never get the room for the rifle. he was right, Aura's other hand came up, and though Aura dulled the blade a bit she still severed one of the man's ribs from his ribcage.
Aura pulled out her Sword blade, her Aura weapons retreated though her Aura climbed up the hilt of the sword. Aura tended to use this to steady the blade in her hand. She looked around, the place and moved closer to Vicente looking down at his victims. She admired the work and was glad he had left this one more or less alive, her own victim might live, or might not depending on where the rib went. Either way in then then two minutes nether of them had been scratched, the guards did not look nearly as good. They had seemed almost two surprised to fight back intelligently, in Aura's opinion.
Aura made her way to the front of the store where by now various employees had grabbed various firearms, and Aura felt her aura take a good hit as she got near the front desk. Aura Jumped over it and the man with a strange silver gun in his hand who had shot at her. felt the sting of her sword, Aura Smiled as she landed scattering the other three. One of them got their berrings quickly and Aimed a rifle at Aura, the other two Saw Vicente and decided they might have a better chance with him, having not seen their friends.
Aura was just as bloody and ruthless as he was, if not more so. But there was an obvious difference. While he exuded strength and brutality, Aura had this sleek seductiveness with her rampaging. It was cold, effective, and yet there was a sensuality there that he was not entire sure that she was aware of. It was funny because he imagined that if he had ever had a daughter that followed in his footsteps, she would probably be a lot like Aura. But the thoughts escaped him as he turned his attention back to the front of the store at the same time that Aura did.
More guards and employees; why was he not surprised? After all this was a military surplus store. He sneered with his horse face but stopped when he saw Aura suddenly charge into the fray. No words left his mouth as he watched her get down to work.
The flashes of pink and steel, the swift movements, the flying of crimson, the gasps of pain, it was just all too magical for him to ignore. He was definitely more and more impressed with the young woman. But before he had too long to admire, he suddenly watched as two of the guards that were left skirted around her and locked onto him as their target.
Picking on an old man? Now how was that fair?
He lips sneered as he stepped forward, both blades in hands as he peered at the pair of men. One of them had produced a handgun while the other one fumbled with a black nightstick. Both guards glanced at one another, whispering about “the Unicorn” they had all read about in the newspapers. They knew that they were dealing with an extremely dangerous individual but they knew that there was no way that they would be able to get to a phone and call the police.
Worst of all was that, to them, all they saw was a bloody unicorn teaming with another of the city’s most wanted…Aura. Panic was clear on their faces but they were stupid enough to want to continue to do their job.
The man carrying the nightstick was the first to run into battle while the other stayed back to cover him with the handgun. The “unicorn” assassin could only smirk at their foolishness. As the man ran up, holding the nightstick on high, Vicente charged forward as well. But inside of diving off to the side or some other slick maneuver, the killer simply braced himself and took the blunt force of the nightstick against his shoulder. He growled as he suddenly dropped his sword and grabbed the man by his throat.
It was at this point that the guard’s fellow gun-handler decided to shout out a threat or two that he would fire unless his friend was let go. Vicente let these threats fall on deaf ears as he grinned and waited, closing his fist on the man’s throat. As he choked and sputtered, the other guard shouted out his final warning and raised the gun to open fire.
At the sound of the first click, Vicente turned and held out his hostage and watched as bullet and bullet was pumped into him. The body became lifeless and Vicente let him fall to the ground in a heap. The gun-holder stared in shock and that was all the time that Vicente needed. He dashed forward, quicker than seemed possible for his bulk, and suddenly ducked his head down, driving the make-shirt unicorn horn directly into the man’s chest.
Two more rounds were fired, but these disappeared into the ceiling of the establishment. The assassin neighed briefly before he suddenly pulled back and removed his now bloody horn from the man’s body, letting him fall.
Standing upright, crimson droplets started to form lines down the thin white hair of his horse head, following the contours of his eyes before falling down onto the ground or flowing down his muzzle. He sighed as he stood over the last guard and turned to make sure that Aura was alright as well. It was time they started to load the van…
Aura prepared for the impact that never came, in fear her opponent had forgotten to undo the safety on the gun. The gun never Fired, and Aura impaled the man below his ribcage, in a moment of cruelty Aura just looked at the man's dyeing eyes, then she ended with a hammer blow to the side of the man's head. Aura had not been paying attention to how hard she hit him, so she was unsure if he was alive or dead when he struck the floor.
Only now did it cross Aura's mind that these might not have been actual solders. Weather they were or were not however, she had her orders and she would see them through. She did stop however and considering taking a leg bone as a trophy, but decided against the idea to indulge herself. Instead She looked around to see if anyone else had come to play. She frowned as she saw that these seemed to be the last of them.
Aura watched with approval as she saw the Vicente first use a human shield, then impale the other man with the horn. She had to admire a mindset like that, she knew at that moment she liked working with this guy. he may not have been in the Order, but he seemed to share an ease of killing she found so rarely in others. She only wished this type of work was more frequent, maybe she would see if Lori would let her help out Vicente more on these jobs.
Sheathing her blade, Aura turned her attention then to their next task, actually stealing some of the contents of the place. "I don't know much on value of this stuff" she confessed. Aura had never understood the true value of money. Aura had been provided for most of her life and even now she had more money then she understood how to spend. SO she made herself useful and started toward the van, opening the back door's wide so they would have no trouble piling thing's in. She awaited only a grab those order, though in the meantime, she smashed a glass case which held a few dozen hand gun's, quickly she had a half, pulling out the bottom rank which were labeled Magnum's she tossed it into the van, figuring they were as good a choice as any. Instead of grabbing the ammo however Aura grabbed a rack full of beef jerky and tossed that into the van as well.
Vicente had dispatched the last of his opponents and glanced up to see that Aura had done the same. The little pink fireball had managed to do quite a bit of damage to the guards that had been present. He was sure that anyone that had faced her was now meeting their maker. He really wanted to work with this young lady more. Never had he really met any with a ferocity that matched his. The last woman that did was Reaper and that was, oh, twenty-five or more years ago.
How interesting that he would run into another young woman like her. He doubted it was possible.
But sending such thoughts away, Vicente began to visibly relax now that their opposition was ground to a halt. With Phase One of the plan completed, all Vicente needed to do now was to gather as much weaponry as possible to make it really feel as if an army were being started. That ought to move some people against Sebastian and truly throw his name through the mud.
Calmly he replaced his swords into their sheaths as he turned to face the multitude of racks of weapons, ammunition, and supplies. It was like being a kid in a candy store. He smirked as he grabbed few duffle bags that were for sale and began to load them up with several different types of ammunition boxes. As many as the shelves had.

He smirked.
“Just grab whatever you can or what looks most deadly,” he explained through his horse-like features. “We just need to incriminate this guy, the Unicorn, as much as possible. If the public thinks he has an army on the rise, that should be a sizeable nail in his coffin.”
There was obviously no bad blood between himself and whoever this Sebastian person was. He had never met him before so this was only business. In end, he really hoped that this man did not hold any ill will against him. But then again, if he did, Vicente simply didn’t give a ----! A job was a job and Sebastian should have known not to cross the blonde’s boss.
He shrugged as he filled the first duffle bag up with ammunition, hefted it up, and hurled it into the back of the van. With the next duffle bag in hand, Vicente began to head to the back room where the actual firearms were held.
“I’ll be right back,” he said to Aura. “Load up what you can here, and then meet me in the back room. We have…maybe seven or eight minutes before the police actually respond and I want to get as much weaponry as we can into the van before we meet up with them.”
Once in the back room, Vicente grinned as he looked over the various firearms that were locked away in cages or in cases. Walking up to the first cage, he easily broke the lock with the handle of his sword, strolled in, and started to gather rifles and shotguns. It was like Christmas and his Birthday had come early!
Aura took note of the time she had, day's of the week may have blended together for her half the time, minutes and police did not. Aura hesitated only for a second weighing the value of simply killing as many police as she could in order to grant herself release from this world. She dismissed the idea as she was sure Lori wanted to her to come back alive. She was also finding the concept of an early death harder to accept. She shook her head to clear her mind of the foolish thoughts and focused on her task.
Aura skipped over the hand gun's and went right to the hunting rifles. She smashed the glass with an Aura hammer and even before the glass had completely fallen yanked out a half dozen hunting rifles. Walking back, Aura casually swung the hammer and knocked away a few more chucks of shelfing before tossing the guns into the truck without much, care. She began making her way to the back, stopping at the front desk and hopped over it almost slipping in the wet floor but she kept her balance and bent down to grab the magnum, then made her way to the back.
She made her way to the back and looked around. These were the more serious rifles and guns and seeing Vicente had cracked open one of the cages already, Aura formed the hammer on her left hand into a drill and in a few seconds, the lock burst open, and fell to the ground, Aura simply had to remove the top half then opened it roughly grabbing the Assault rifles held within, Aura recognized these ones well enough.
"The humans wont like it at all, their natural fear of us may provoke them into action against him. The police are weak, no matter what however we probably want to depart before the MRC unit arrives though" she said feeling having to fight the mrc unit would risk them getting caught, and getting caught meant dispelling the illusion vicente was no the unicorn. However even a brief flash of them both would tell the cops all they would care to know. "I like helicopters even less" she commented. Mutant or human she could usually fight that, but she had no way of fighting things in the air and unless Vicente could grow wings she did not think he could either.

Waldo Octavius Forthwright was a simple man. He wore red plaid shirts, even in the summer. He liked meat and potatoes for dinner. His hobbies included deer hunting, fishing, and tinkering with old cars. He went to bingo every Tuesday and church every Sunday. Lately he had joined a new congregation, one that actually encouraged people to help out their community; this he did by volunteering two extra nights a week at the church's soup kitchen, where he had met a lady named Victoria.
Waldo Octavius Forthwright was walking about two inches off the ground. Figuratively, of course, he wasn't a mutant or anything like that. He was happy, about as happy as a man can be. He was on his way home from his first date since before he had hair. Home, by way of the ammo store. He had plans with buddies to go to the rifle range the next weekend.
Waldo Ocatvius Forthwright was quite startled when a car crashed through the store window not more than 30 feet in front of him. If he hadn't been brave and opted to try for a good night kiss, he could have been walking through that door just in time to get run over! He had been startled by the crash; it was nothing compared to the shock he felt when he saw what got out of the car. A unicorn!
Waldo Octavius Forthwright knew a thing or two about unicorns. At least, he did now that the head of his church was one and he had dug out all the old books he'd read about them as a child. This thing that got out of the car; it was all wrong. It didn't have a tail. It wasn't lithe and graceful. It wasn't pure and good and holy. It certainly wasn't Sebastian Csendes, whom he had seen many times.
He peered through the broken window, then took several steps backwards. It was no accidental crash he had witnessed. The fake unicorn and his diminutive accomplice were on what could only be called a murderous rampage. He had to do something!
Waldo Octavius Forthwright back peddled quickly, and pulled out his cell phone; he had prepaid for 500 minutes and still had most of those minutes left unused. His first call was to 911. He was sure to keep his voice quite, lest he be heard over the sounds of crashing and gunshots. His second call was to the church. He didn't know if anyone would be in at this hour, but he thought he should call anyway. If there was a unicorn running around doing this kind of thing... they should know. Someone should know, and someone should do something about it. His hand was sweaty as he clutched the phone to his ear, listening to it ring and ring.
-----------------------------------------------
Sebastian had barely heard the phone ring over the clashing of swords and the woes of an angst-y fledgling immortal who was venting about puppies, turtle trips, pink haired boys, and other things that an older more mature immortal didn't understand in the least.
The ringing made him pause just long enough to miss blocking a well timed thrust toward his lower leg.
He barely made it to the office in time to grab the phone. He may or may not have dripped blood on the carpet along the way.
...
“No, don't do anything rash. Just get to safety as fast as you can,” the unicorn man hung up and looked over to his young apprentice who was lurking in the doorway, decidedly not cleaning up any red stains on the carpet before they set in. “A unicorn man is breaking into a weapons store, are you up for a little field test of your skills?”
