The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

It wasn't that easy to just toss Sara. she had claws and used them. What ever wounds she received were too minor to pay much attention to as well. Her body healed and she knew with a quick glance that she'd be healed long before she would have time to properly examine the damage. Sara had a lot of things going for herself. Most people immediately recognized her feline features and healing abilities. Few recognized her true speed, and fewer yet knew about her 6th sense. If she could take out his eyes, the 6ths sense would be severely disorienting.
Sara was on her feet before her own male doppelganger. Donovan was making a hasty retreat and all Sara could do was stare at his back side for a moment. "There's ten thoughsand dollars it in for you if you turn on your boss and catch him." Sara tempted her opponent but he only shook his head. "Then it's your funeral."
He swung fast and wild at Sara and she ducked back then to the right dodging the tips of his curved claws that he hadn't quite learned how to use most effectively yet.
He made the mistake of fully extending his arm and Sara took advantage. Faster than the blink of an eye Sara had grabbed his wrist with one hand, The other struck his arm just below the elbow with an open palm and there was an audible snap. Little to no motion was wasted and the same hand that broke his arm, then moved fast as a whip across her opponent's face. The male feline managed to catch Sara across the stomach with a front kick, but his claws slid across her leather vest. aside from the wind getting knocked out of her, he had more damage. The problem was that he seemed to be adjusting to her mutation fast.
The man across from Pluto raged on, he didn’t want to end this here, but he didn’t have much choice. Then again, there was always a choice. He waited for the man to come in, with one disabled arm , he pretty much only had one option. The thug threw a ham sized left hook. Pluto shook his head and applied the simple science of Judo there force, plus your force, applied against the attacker equaled destruction in this case.Pluto pivoted and launched his foe in a throw that might have ended with the man in the Midwest, Canada or the ocean depending on which way they were facing. The large red body sailed through the air and out of sight before it looked like it would even come near the ground again.
Pluto watched in awe, typically he would have held back his fury, typically he would have attempted to simply teach the man a lesson. But he taped into an anger that he reserved for his brothers. And the result was sending him into a low orbit. He looked to the crowd that was watching from the edges of the parking lot and let out a furious guttural roar. If that didn’t convince them to stay the hell out of the way, he didn’t know what would.
There were few things that Sara liked about a fight. She hated having to heal, she hated the dirt that was kicked up, and most of all, she hated the reasons that she found to fight. She hated herself for getting stuck in the middle of it, and she hated the situation because she almost never felt like she was in full control of it. A blue elf once told her if she couldn't do something well, it was better not to do it.
With that said, this was not your ordinary fight. Sara found purpose in it, and with the purpose, she made every move that she could count. The opponent had her healing factor so she had little reason to hold back and he had her speed, witch have her reason to cripple him more and more. Somewhere in the process, Sara's opponent's arm had healed and he'd started using it again. She didn't realize he'd managed to attack her with his claws across her shoulder.
Pluto throwing his opponent had gone unnoticed be Sara and her opponent until he bellowed. The roar might have been meant as a message to the crowd of Sara's clientel, but it also served as a decent distraction for Sara's opponent. He jumped and Sara couldn't help but notice the hair on his neck stand on end. He looked over his shoulder at the red mutant and Sara took advantage. Her claws sank into his arm, and with a spin and pull, accompanied by a sickening crack, Sara had managed to whip his body back down to the ground. The male cat tried to flip back onto his feet, but Sara knocked his knee sideways, her claws on her foot sank into his leg, and she stood on his leg, pinning it to the ground. One hand reached for the back of the male cat mutant's neck. The scruff. She then bent him backwards to the ground bending the male almost in half like a bow drawn too tight. Her eyes were dilated with the adrenalin pumping through her body from their fight. Some where in the process, Sara had slashed the male's stomach open and he'd left a deep nick around her ribs through her vest.
"The offer for you to help us is still open." Sara offered. The emotions had been pushed out of her voice and what was left sounded dry, low, and filled with mallasc. "Two thoughsand dollars and that is my final offer." Sara let the offer hang between them for a moment, and he replied to her with a fraise that would make a sailor blush. As it was said the tip of Sara's nose darkened. The fraise had been regarding Sara's feline features, but not in the most socially acceptable way.
"OK How about this." Sara let the tip of her claw on her free hand rest on her opponent's adam's apple. "If you don't tell us where your boss has run off to, I will find out how many different ways that I can skin you. you'll heal over and over again, but that will keep you alive."
Pluto watched as were handled her counterpart, Donovan might have had something if they hadn’t known how to fight, fighting a merc with his strength would have been terrifying if he didn’t have his brothers to age with. And it looked like Were was proving why females did the hunting in a pride. Pluto glared at the others gathered around as he jogged toward the pair of felines. Without saying a word to either of them he just fumed beside them, she didn’t need any help in the threat department, though he considered offering to relieve him of his limbs. Pluto knelt down and picked up a rock and sent it flying toward the car that Donovan was running towards the rock exploded into dust as it made contact with the trunk and flipped the Cadillac over.
He might still get out of there but it wouldn’t be in the comfort of his own car. The man dashed towards another vehicle and was shouting something at another of the random gawkers, how it played out between criminals he didn’t know. Pluto locked eyes with the new criminal and shook his head, warning him that joining Donny, would not be the right call to make.
Movement off to Sara's right drew her attention and for a second, she was distracted as Pluto jogged up next to her. But it was Pluto. Not the other one and Sara's full attention returned to the male doppelganger of her own. He'd started to try to twist out of her grip, though trying wasn't nearly successful and Sara ended up bending him further backwards. with her claws of her foot firmly pressed into the back of her opponent's knee, he was forced to stretch further than his back wanted to allow and his face showed the strain with his lips pulled back. He was still breathing but it was harsh till Sara eased up a bit.
Pluto threw a rock that flipped Donovan's car leaving him with no place to go but that still didn't answer Sara's question. Where would they have gone. Were their more people that they had captive? Sam hadn't mentioned any but she had also only been here at Sara's storage units.
For a moment, sara thought about breaking the male feline mutant's back. He had Sara's mutation so he'd heal. Sara didn't know how long he would heal but for now he would. So she did. With a twist her fingers broke the feline mutant's back between his shoulder blades. The feline hadn't told Sara where they would have gone yet so she still owed him a skinning. At least the broken spine would keep him in place for some time. Sara could skin him when she was done with Donovan.
"No body is to help Donovan Moor." Sara said to any of her clients who were sill watching. "Donovan Moor traffic's people and that is one crime that I will not tolerate in my business." As Sara gave that information, a couple of her clients turned their attention more on Donovan. There were things that you just didn't say you did, if you did them in different organizations. A rapist never said that they were a rapist in prison. It was practically a death sentence. Human trafficking had too much to do with the same subject. Donoban Moor was going down in more than one way. Through his business, through those he kept as employees, through his colleagues, and if Sara could help it, through her. A couple of younger males pulled guns on Donovan, others looked shocked still. "If Human trafficking continues though my warehouses, I will have that person's throat."
Sara's words were final. She was not yelling but stern low projection of her voice carried across the yard. One way or another she would make sure that the word was passed. Once again Sara was stalking up twoards Donovan Moor. It wa symilar movement to a house cats movement as they were cornering a mouse and when she reached the last ten feet he drew a weapon, only making it half way before Sara burst forward with speed and was on him. His throat was in her hand within a heart beet a Sara pressed him backwards against one of her client's vans.
Pluto Winced at the sound of a spine snapping apart, The man groaned in pain even as he was healing, Pluto shook his hand and his tail flicked out smashing the man’s head against the ground, he’d live but he wouldn’t likely be conscious for a bit. Pluto trailed Sara slightly she was the faster of two, he wasn’t going to race her for it. She’d get to him first and she deserved to, he stumbled upon this, The man had violated her business and involved her in his.
His crimson eyes took stock of the men around them a few more left most were turning on their fellow criminal; some were just watching the show. If Sara was a house cat he supposed that made him a junkyard dog prowling about watching and waiting for interlopers to cross into his yard. No one would interfere with Sara, not if they valued their life anyhow.
Sara was growing on him by the second, He realized that she was every bit as violent as his brothers, as himself, but what mattered to him truly was the fact that she was violent for all the right reasons.
Once again Sara was momentarily distracted by Pluto. Though not fully that she took her focus off of Donovan. Personally she would have preferred to leave her opponent conscious. Healing was no fun, especially from injuries that were so serious. Pluto let him off easy in Sara's eyes... Then again maybe there was truth to the saying that 'Hell hath no ferry like a woman scorned.' And Sara was feline on top of that.
Sara had Donovan by the throat but her other hand rested on his that held a gun. It took her only a twist to relieve him of the weapon and toss it behind her at Pluto's feet. It wasn't that she expected him to pick it up, but she doubted anyone else would if it was that close to him.
"I want to know where you take them." Sara told Donovan as she demanded information. She then shifted her grip on his neck so that he could talk.
His breath heaved in. his upper lip pulled back from the pressure that Sara had administered. Almost like a dog trying to look tough.... almost if he didn't have to cough to catch his breath and his pulse wasn't racing under Sara's finger tips. "Even if I told you, there is nothing that you could do." Donovan laughed with his voice dry and harsh that quickly turned dryer and harsher when Sara squeezed his neck again, pulled him forward then rammed him against the side of the ban behind him again hard enough this time to make the van rock back and forth on it's shocks. "They're gone!" Donovan choked out. His hands trying to dig under Sara's fingers to loosen her grip. "I sold them."
"Where!" This time Sara's voice had lost it's composure. It echoed off of the building and though she tried to hide it, had a small shake at the end. All Sara needed was a location. She could get a lot of information from just a location, but she was also loosing what composure she had.
Pluto always assumed healing felt nice, so he had decided to take the pleasure from him, unaware that he’d actually done the power thief a favor. His tail wrapped around the fire arm protectively. He hadn’t ever tried to shoot with his tail before, could be fun.
Pluto’s eye was twitching as he heard that they were too late. He closed in next to Were to get a good look at the man what he thought might be his last moment. “Sara waited long enough to get an answer, those girls would have been lost if Pluto was doing the integrating, he just didn’t have it in him to spare this dirt bag much longer.
“Sara wait, I think Donny here just became a philanthropist, that is, if he wants to live.” Pluto leaned in. “ Do you want to live Donny? I bet you do. Empty your bank accounts into charities and Sara will let you live. After that you run as fast and far as you can. What do you think of that? Hmmm Donny?” Pluto was a shark circling in bloodied water at the moment.
Pluto pointed to the guys that had their guns trained on him and waved them over. “Either of you guys good with moving funds?”
One nodded. “Its what I do.” A third jogged over with a laptop. “Normally I take a percentage but I don’t even want a piece of that money.”
Pluto grinned. “Mr.Moore the choice is yours. Sara spares you and you start telling these gents your info, or Sara gets mean.”
'Mean' Pluto had just said that she would get mean. Mean had nothing to do with the actions that Sara felt that she should take, though she was sure that the term 'Mean/' was just a implication that Pluto had chosen to use. It still urcked her. She wasn't mean. Donovan Moor had involved her in, not just another crime, but a crime that she could hardly put words to in her mind.
Pluto had come up beside Sara and Sara's right ear twitched with frustration. Donovan had been told that he could live and maybe to kill him would be a 'Mean' thing to do, but Sara still wanted justice once she'd gotten him to talk. The more that Sara stood there with her thumb twitching against his throat, the more that it felt like justice would be complete if she squeezed her claws through his windpipe.
Pluto called over a few of Sara's other clientele who were skilled in moving money. a Laptop came out of what seemed like no where. Sara's tail twitched irritated, but she let go of Donovan's neck and took one step back. "Go a head Mr. Moor." Sara crossed her arms. Donovan was out of reach but not far enough that if he did something stupid again, that she wouldn't be able to grab him. "What ever you decide to do, you will make the rest of my day."
Donovan eyed Sara and Pluto for a moment. Obviously not really wanting to empty his accounts but obviously in the decision between his accounts and his cash, he chose to give up his cash. He gave up three of his account numbers and weather he had more than three, Sara had no way of knowing. She chanced a quick glance at Pluto as she tried to read Donovan's heart beats. "Do you think that's all of it?" She asked Pluto.
The man at the computer chimed in. The corner of his mouth twitched up in a mischievious way. Almost the way you see a child's mouth when they know cheat code to a video game. "I could always empty all accounts that have had transations with Mr. Moor's and leave an obvious trail back to his."
Pluto shook his head."Nah I think three of his will do, besides there won't be a Donovan to track it back to." Pluto smiled darkly to Sara. "shall you finish him, or shall I?" he then mockingly looked shocked. " Oh, was I supposed to be strait with the Slaver?"
Pluto watched the man, the second he moved an inch and the question would be moot.
A resounding loud crash sounded behind them as the pavement cracked and a large red body hit the pavement...apparently he had just sent the man around the world. He hopped he enjoyed the sights before he died.
Sara's nose wrinkled as she continued to glare at the not so good Mr Moor. She had mixed feeling about Pluto lieing to Donovan. Then again part of her wondered if Donovan had told symilar things to his girls- Oh Heck no they weren't his girls! They weren't his girls. They never were and the fact that Sara's mind had stirred up that wording disturbed her as much as the current situation. Sara had once been called someone's property. She'd spent most of her child hood learning that she wasn't her own, but someone's and not by family or choice.
The sound of Pluto's doppleganger crashing into the building distracted Sara for a moment. Distracted Donovan too and the two of them turned to look at what might as well have been a train wreck.
Turning back to the business at hand Sara extended the claws in her left hand. "I'll do it." What ever was left of the color in Donovan's face, had faded. Donovan turned to run and Sara let him get as far as a car again. She toyed with him only for a second or two, letting him put the car between them. One hop braught Sara onto the roof of the car. A second hop brought her down, clawed feet first, on top of Donovan. They disappeared momentarily behind the car. There was the sound of a scuffle for a second. Maybe two. Then nothing.
He bowed slightly and let Sarah do what she needed to make the world a slightly safer place. The problem was there was likely another skuzzy criminal behind Donovan ready to step into his role. They would have to dig deeper if they were really going to put an end to the terrible ring of kidnapping and trafficking. Pluto shook his head as the man was taken care of, permanently, he assumed.
He turned his back to the car and leaned, with no doubt in his mind that the fearsome woman on the opposite side of the car had the situation more than handled. He waited for his companion to come back around to the clean side of the car.
He was really going to have to work on cleaning up his act as far as killing went if he was going to convince the men he was worth his weight. Perhaps he could get a recommendation from Sarah, Jude and Svetlana...that might be enough.
It took Sara a moment before she returned to Pluto’s side. Not because she had been injured but because she was mentally shaken. She’d only killed one other person before and then it had been because she was saving herself. This was the first time that she had killed for others. No matter how right this felt, it felt so wrong at the same time.
Donovan lay dead now and Sara had some of his blood on her clawed feet and her left hand, up to her wrist. She removed a handkerchief from Donovan’s pocket, pulled his jacket over his head from behind so that it covered his face. It was easier to not look at the face of him. She gracefully stood so as not to make herself sway sideways, and made her way to the clean side of the car.
“My apologies do who ever owns that car. I’ll pay for a wax if it’s needed for the roof.” Sara said as she did the best that she could to dab the blood away on her left hand, then her feet.
Mean while when Donovan passed away the two doppelgangers turned back to their normal selves. Plutos’s had shrank into the crater that he had made when he landed. He still lay motionless. Sara’s moaned as he turned onto his back. It seemed when he copied Sara’s mutation, he’d healed enough to survive her busting his spine.
“If people want to clean up, go a head.” Sara said as she patted Donovan’s blood off from between her toes. “I also suggest that people start moving their belongings out of here.” After all. “Someone must have spotted a big red monkey muscled asteroid touching down.”
Her eyes left her work with her foot and her toes for a moment to look at Pluto. She was lost and she really didn’t know what steps to take first. Was it right to just leave? or... What?
