After the door, all following stopped. Amelia kept going, onwards, straight up to Jude. She linked her hands behind her back and swayed on her feet, smirking at him.
"Grats." She said. She added sweetly. "Please don't break her heart."

When Ami'd come out that door, making her way straight for Jude, he'd feared the worst. A girl, storming out. Chest-poking. Glowering. He wasn't sure why he'd pictured all that. It just seemed like that would have been within her character. Alongside not-so-idle threats and warnings about something or other. Jude was asking after Svetlana, after all.
Thankfully, Jude had gotten lucky.
And apparently, in more ways than one? Aurum arched an eyebrow at the kid.
For a moment there, Sveta was scared. The way Ami walked up to Jude could have lead to anything from a slap through chest poking to...
... a smile?
>>"Grats. Please don't break her heart."
Sveta chuckled, walking past Ami and Aurum. All was well with the world. Ami was not going to judge her, or torture her... Jude. That was always a plus. Taking his hand, she smiled at the siblings.
"Thanks" she nodded "I'll be back later. Have a nice day, you two."
Congratulations. You have just survived a close encounter with the Mellitus'.

Jude took Ami's request with all the gravity it deserved. But anything he thought was an appropriate answer to that sounded far too hokey in his head even if his heart thought it was the coolest thing ever. He nodded gravely. Jude had no intention of breaking anyone's heart. "I'll bring her back in one piece."
Muse took his hand without him even officially offering it to her. Jude took this as a sign of trust and also just a plain old good sign.
When they turned to leave together it totally felt like they were getting away with something.
