The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

This sounds like a lot of fun!!! I'm joining this game of yours!
Name: Selia
Age: 68
look: Bloody red eyes, pale white skin, short spiky black hair. Looks like a thirteen-year-old rather than an old man with two over-sized fangs (and is very creepy when he smiles, think mini-dracula.) Quite contrary to popular believes, Selia was not a vampire and had never been one, although he had been suspected again and again that his vampire outlook was the only ‘proof’ needed to prove his guilt
Power: In fact, however, Selia was a mutant whose power involved in the genetic manipulation of biological beings through touch. He had experimented with his own powers, fascinated with it and had been using it to improve his own DNA among other more ‘trivial’ uses. It is publicly known among the citizens in the sewers that he had a very-well maintained and technologically-superior laboratory somewhere underground.
Through his power, he had created two A.Is in the image of the girl he had fallen in love with back in the old days. He had called them the Red Queen and the White Queen. Through avatars and manipulations, they had been able to conduct businesses and obtain funding for the ‘old guy’s’ research. Usually, they just do a quick run on the stock exchange market.
Note: Paying homage to a certain Dr. Isaacs, the Red Queen and the White Queen. And no, I'm not interested in creating zombies, so afraid not of the events of RE or Marvel Zombies happening here. ^___^
look: Blond and beautiful, Crystal is tall and slim. Were it not for her mutantion she'd have easily made the grade to be a model, though unfortunately she doesn't blend in particularly well with ordinary humans. Across her brow, cheekbones, jawline, ribcage, knees, elbows, collarbone and ankles, diamond-like shards protude. These shards are sharp and glittering, beautiful and captivating in themselves. From the nape of her neck to her lower back, a series of 12 spines of crystal protrude and jut upwards, like small horns to begin with; They grow larger and more threatening towards the middle until they approach the lower back where they grow smaller and taper away.
Power: Crystal has no control over her ability. Her bones are made entirely of an indestructable diamond mineral, which grows erratically and breaks the skin of the less fleshier areas of her body. The gemstone shards are razor sharp, and she can pull them from her body; they grow back in an incredibly short time. Each regrowth is random and unique.[/color]
***Friends also tend to give her annoyingly adorable nicknames like Topsy or Turvey or Tipsy for obvious bad joke reasons ……..or “that monochromatic bitch!” when she’s in a not so good mood.
Age: 15
Look: Gray skin tone of varying shades, white hair, blue eyes and blue tinged lips. Small build, with lightweight, mostly hollow bones- goes with her mutation. She is extremely light and agile- that goes with her mutation too.
Power: Proxy Blue can shift her center of gravity, meaning she can quite happily be able to walk on the wall, or even the ceiling without falling down…..as- for her, this new angel she is standing at has a different “down” to everybody else.
If Blue chooses, she can extend this influence to other objects or people around her- meaning, if you hang with her, you could very well be having a party on the ceiling one day.
An extension of her power, Blue has found, that if she can “equalize” her gravity center with every direction- she can levitate. Though this only happened with concentration.
Thought I'd throw in a character that's been bouncing around in my head for a while. However due to the limited amount of free time that I have I don't know if I'll be an active a participant in your Morlock thread, though I must say I love the idea.

Name: Naga
Age: 14
Appearance: As you might guess from alias listed above Naga is something of a cross between a human and almost all reptiles known to man. He is covered from head to foot in minute, but durable, scales which have no set colour, although the default shade seems to be dark emerald. Each of his limbs, excluding the tail, are tipped with retractable which, although incredibly sharp, are rarely used. The little that can be seen of his eyes in the darkened sewer passages show the iris's to be a murky a brown similar to that of mud with diamond shaped pupils set in the center. Naga also posses, surprisingly enough, a tail; reach roughly 5ft in length this additional prehensile appendage is as long as Naga is tall and functions like a third hand for the young mutant.
As for clothes Naga truly has little need for them as his outer skin is more durable than any type of cloth. However to satisfy the sense of modesty which was instilled into him by his parents before the appearance of his mutation the young reptile has taken to wearing a rather worn pair of jeans and a obsidian hooded sweatshirt.
Powers: as previously noted Naga seems to have a relation to almost every reptile/serpent known to man and this most clearly reflected in the sheeo number of abilities his mutation grants him:
-enhanced strength, reflexes, senses - extending tongue -claws -thermal vision -ability to "taste" scents -capable of detecting the presence of others via vibrations in his surroundings -gecko like ability to cling to walls -can shed skin to form an unconvincing "decoy", can only do this once a month or so. -can detach limbs to escape if necessary, limbs will be regrown but require concentration and a lot of energy -poison fangs -chameleon ability to change the colour of his scales.
Cafas: "Zephyr is the king of bad decisions, but if Sebby being weak to ghost is anything to go by, not so amazing at follow through."
I am so in on this morlock idea. Personally I'd rather play Sara because on other sites that had morlocks she fit in very well. This will actually give me a chance to try out one of the characters that has been in my head for the last few weeks.
Name: Mim
Age: 17
Appearance: (Edit) I finally decided that Mim will be male...... for now....
Mim stands at about 5’ 7”, with a light weight build or someone who looks like they do a lot of dance or gymnastics as Mim does in Mim’s everyday communication alone. Mim’s skin is a light olive hue and at first glance, there is little that distinguishes Mim from the rest of the public with the exception of a tear shaped birth mark under Mim’s left eye. Their eyes are light blue, almost to the point of looking like steal or silver.
Mim’s hair is one big, long, mane of thick, dark brown, dreadlocks. Shirts will generally be white tank tops and if it’s chilly a loose black sweat shirt will do. Mim proffers loose cargo pants, normally made of some sort of canvas, with nice big pockets, ending the ensemble with a pair of high top, black, steal toe boots.
Powers: Though Mim can blend in society better then other, Mim still manages to stick out in the crowd, and it’s not just because of the hair. Mim can’t talk, so much of mim’s communication is done through pantomimes, or sign langwage. (I bet the name Mim is starting to make sense now.)
Mim is a telekinetic with a tiny bit of psychic abilities. (Though Mim almost never is able to use the psychic abilities.) There is very little that Mim’s abilities can’t do. Basically if Mim can imagine it or pantomime it, it can happen.
For instance if Mim wanted to break a window, Mim could pretend to toss a ball in the air, and hit it with an imaginary Baseball bat. Mim’s telekinetic power, sends a projectile of energy at the window and shatters it. Saw mim wants to be stronger, Mim can pretend to blow her arms up, like the characters do in cartoons, pretend to flex, and Mim is stronger as is it Mim’s telekinetic energy coating Mim’s arms and making Mim be able to move the objects Mim wants to move.
Mim’s telekinetic energy has affect on things it touches, like if Mim were to create a wall or a box, and so, some of Mim’s more powerful feats may cause some light displacement to the point where what Mim is imagining and bringing to life, will take a ghostly form.
If Mim falls asleep or gets knocked out, all of the telekinetic things Mim has done, go away. Mim must be able to be using their imagination or things to work. Although random events during sleep or sleep walking are possible.

Guess I'll join in too. Maybe this will help me get my creativity for my main charries going again.
Name: Mira
Age: 18
Look: Very odd. Her skin reflects what is around her. In certain situations, she may even be invisible, such as under water. Sometimes the only way to see her is by her eyes, which are a very deep purple, edged in red. Usually she's about 5'5", 5'6", and of small build.
Power: Mira is basically a walking mirror. Her body is completely made of glass, which she can manipulate like water. She can shift to any shape or form, be it living or not. However, she can only shape-shift. She can shift so that the outlines of clothing and facial features are visible, but her skin reflects whatever is around her, like a living mirror. She doesn't know it yet, but because her insides and organs are also made of glass, she is nearly immortal, never able to grow old. Any wounds she receives simply reform. If she were to be (for example) frozen, and separated into pieces, unable to come together for one reason or another, she would simply fall into a coma, until her pieces were thawed. Then each piece would seek to reunite with the others, until she was whole again. She has no need for normal human requirements either, such as eating, breathing, sleep. She is impervious to electricity, but supersensitive to cold and heat.
Personality: Quiet, reserved, says very little, and has a habit of rhyming her sentances.
Name: Skadi Age: 19 Looks: Her skin is pale, almost white. Her eyes are light grey, a black circle surrounding them. Her hair is long, and looks like it's made of silver. height: 5'3", weight: 125. Power: she is able to produce and manipulate ice. She is capable of surviving at extremely low temperatures.
I wanna join. Might as well be playing somewhere, right?
Name: Blindspot
Age: 14
Look: A black hole in the scenery about the size of a small room.
Power: His body is a powerful vacuum for light, including infra-red light and ultraviolet light. Because of all the infra-red lights he absorbs, he is mildly resistant to cold. He can also see without any kind of light at all, fortunately for him. He can only see up to 100 or 200 yards, but can see through most obstacles up to that range.
Personality: Outgoing, curious, hates being alone. Hates being ignored/avoided because of his power.
The very same day that Blindspot got to NYC was the day that the Stalkers started making themselves a nuisance. One spotted him but he somehow managed to evade it (it couldn't target him) and took to the sewers. Now he's trying to make friends anyway he can.
