Jade grinned happily, tail wagging back nad forth about a mile a minute. She looked over at Vincent squeezing his hand back. She watched as Sapphire walked in the room, rubbing her eyes sleepily.

"Sa..Sapphire!" Emmy said, looking at her older sister.

Sapphire paused, looking at her younger sibling with curious eyes. She tilted her head over to the side like a dog.

"Did squirt just say my name?" Sapphire asked, looking at the red haired baby curiously.

Emerald began coughing again grabbing her stuffed lion and cuddled it to her chest. She whined softly, looking up at her family with big blue eyes. "Family...Love." She said slowly

The robot started beeping to indicate a rise in tempature. 101.4

Vincent was beaming at Emmy, but his happy thoughts were interrupted when the robot beeped. Looking at her rising temperature he turned back to Jade. “Honey, her temperature is still rising. I’ll run her a cold bath and we’ll cool her down.”

Taking Sapphire’s hand he said, “Come on Sapphire, we’re going to go run a bath for baby Emmy.” Sapphire scowled, but followed. Reaching the bathroom Vincent put in the plug and turned on the cold tap.

“That’s going to be freezing,” said Sapphire, “Are we going to freeze her?”

“No,” Vincent laughed, “Emmy’s just a bit hot, that’s all. This should cool her down.”

Jade gently took the blanket of of the trembling young child, who snuggled in her mother grip. Jade muttered soothingly to her as she carried her into the bathroom.

Jade gently remmoved emmy's baby clothes and lowered her into the bath tub.

Emmy struggled in her mother's grip trying to get away from the cold water. She shook her head furiously, letting out a series of growls.

"No cold!" Emmy growled splashing her family

Sapphire rolled her eyes. Water dripping off of her. "Can we just make her go to sleep then do it?"

Vincent grinned and flicked some water at Sapphire. “That wouldn’t work silly, as the cold water would wake her up.” Turning back to Emmy he splashed water gently at her.

“Yes cold, cold make Emmy better.” Reaching into his pocket he pulled out on of his latest creations, a robotic frog that was completely water proof. Turning it on he set it on the edge of the bath. The little frog looked about briefly before jumping in the water and swimming around Emmy.

Emerald looked at the frog curiously for a moment, before poking at it playfully. She was quite content in the bathtub, though she still didnt like the cold. Well she was untill Sapphire dumped cold water on her head.

"YIPE!" The baby yelped trying to get out of the tub again.

"Sapphire!" Jade scolded, glaring at her oldest daughter.

"what I was trying to bring her fever down and the freezing water would help!"

"No cold!" Emmy barked

Vincent couldn’t help but laugh as Sapphire poured water over Emmy. As he did he pushed one of the buttons on his watch. The frog poked its head up out of the water and squirted water at Sapphire.

“Maybe that’ll cool you off then,” he said between laughter. Having squirted Sapphire the frog did a little back flip and went back to swimming and playing with Emmy.

Sapphire grumbled irrtably at the frog, watching as it played with her baby sister.

"Im gonna go play with Reginald." The Young girl said, walking off.

Jade sighed before watching Emmy trying to get out of the tub. The woman felt her head and smiled softly.

"Her fever has broken." Jade replied with a smile.

Emerald whined softly, reaching up towards her father. "Sleepy?" She asked slowly

Vincent gave Jade a relived smile before picking Emmy up out of the tub. “Come on you, let’s get you dry.” Laying her on towel he quickly dried the little girl and dressed her before picking her up again.

“Beddy byes,” he said cheerfully as he took Emerald to her room and lay her back in the cot. Handing her her stuffed lion he tucked her in and kissed her forehead. “Sleepy time Emmy.”

Emerald nuzzled her stuffed lion, before falling slowly into sleep.

"Night mama, Night Dada." She barked, before falling into a deep sleep.

Jade smiled at her husband, kissing him on the cheek gently. "You know...maybe we should have another. It would be kinda cute for emmy to have a baby sister."

Vincent put an arm around Jade as he smiled down at Emmy. “I’d like that, another kid in the family. And who knows, this one might be a boy.” Kissing Jade he tip toed out of the room with her and quietly shut the door.

“The more I think about it the more I want to have another baby. After all, these two are so much fun and so wonderful, imagine how much more fun it would be with three.” Plus it would give him an excuse to make even more toy robots. The little things were such fun to make, and even better to watch the joy on the kids faces as they played with his new creations.

"Why do I somehow doubt it is going to be a boy." Jade responded, tail wagging back and forth slowly.

Jade giggled as she kissed him on the cheek. "You know what is comming up next week love? Its my heat." She smiled, tail wagging back and forth.

Vincent grinned at Jade, “Well in that case we’d better prepare for another little one around here.” He kissed her and headed back down stairs.

Vincent had a toaster captured and pinned by electromagnets and he was rummaging around the insides. This time he would make sure he fixed the toaster and his family could have toast for the first time in years.

He heard a noise behind him and turned around to see little Ruby crawling towards him. Smiling he picked her up and set him down on his lap. “Hey there Ruby, come to see your dad at work.”

Rather than answer Ruby picked up a screwdriver and waved it about enthusiastically. Vincent chuckled at her as she prodded the toaster with the screwdriver. “That’s right Ruby, daddy’s going to fix the toaster.”

Giggling Ruby jabbed at a switch on the table. “No!” Vincent cried, but it was too late. Ruby had hit the switch and turned off the electromagnets holding the toaster in place. In an instant the toaster was up and running. “Ruby,” he wined watching the toaster skitter away, “Look at what you did.” Ruby responded by poking him with the screwdriver.

Ruby poked and proded him with a screwdriver, seeing if her daddy would come unscrewed. She looked over at the table and pointed at the table leg rather enthusatically.

In place of the table leg was a baseball bat. Now the leg was there before Vincent came in there, but now it was mysteriously gone.

Emerald was outside attacking one of the trees with the severed table leg.

"AROOO!" Emerald howled, "I hit enemies!"

Ruby gurgled up at her father.

Vincent laughed as Ruby seemed to be trying to unscrew him. He frowned when she pointed at the baseball bat that had taken the place of one of the table legs. “What on Earth happened?” he wondered aloud, “Do you know where the leg’s gone Ruby?” he asked.

Ruby nodded and pointed with the screwdriver out the window. Looking outside he saw Emerald attack a tree with his table leg. “I see,” said Vincent with a sly smile, “I reckon we should pay Emerald a visit with Dreadnaught, don’t you Ruby?”

Ruby nodded enthusiastically and Vincent got up and carried her over to Dreadnaught. There was enough space inside Dreadnaught for the pair of them, as Ruby didn’t take up much room. Vincent sat in place with Ruby on his lap as the chest plate closed.

The roof retracted and Vincent fired up the jets, Ruby clapping her hands in glee. Flying up he locked on to Emerald, still furiously attacking the tree. Ruby jabbed at the image of Emerald on the screen. “That’s right, hold on Ruby.”

Flying down to Emerald he landed behind her and turned on Dreadnaught’s speakers. “I think you have something of mine Emerald,” Vincent’s voice boomed out, followed by an excited giggle from Ruby.

Emerald's eyes widened, dropping the table leg. She looked down at her sneakers, fiddling with her baseball cap. "Im sorry daddy." Emerald said, bottom lip quivering.

Jade walked into the kitchen putting the groceries on the table, her eyes widened at the site of the baseball bat. She watched Sapphire bolt past her, towards her younger sibling.

"Emmy!" Sapphire exclaimed running towards her, an angrey look on her face.

Emerald grinned evilly, picking up the table leg in her mouth, running on all fours away from Sapphire.

Sapphire and Emerald chassed one another in circles while Jade stood on the deck, snapping pictures.

Ruby looked up at her father, gurgling happily. She clapped her hands as she watched the show before her.
