The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

On hearing Jade’s growl Vincent came to a decision. He would stand by Jade against whoever came at them, be it Fusionist or his mother. From now, Jade game first, always. Looking up he was how angry and sad Jade was, and realised how hard this was for her.
Taking the seat next to her he put his arm around her shoulders. “Try and rise above it ok, I know she’d being a witch, but try and rise above it for me, please.” He just wanted to try and get though this meal, that would be enough. After that he’d only visit her on his own, he wasn’t going to put Jade through this again.
Jade merely nodded before wrapping her arms fiercly around her love. she nuzzled her head into his chest, soft whimpers escaping her lips. She was sad, she didnt like this at all, she wanted to go home.
"Vincey, why is she being mean? I didnt have anything to do with that. Im being nice! I dont understand," Jade paused, "Im not a freak am I?"
“I’m not sure honey,” Vincent said honestly, “I’m guessing that she never approved of mutants, and the imprisonment of Auntie Mary, her sister, during a pro-mutant rally hasn’t improved her opinion.”
Taking her face in his hands he turned it up to face him. “The one thing I do know for sure is this. You are not a freak. You are a beautiful and amazing woman and I love you.” With that he kissed her passionately, showing he meant every word.
“Now now,” came the sickeningly sweet voice, “None of that at the table.” Mrs Lupin placed a large pot of rice on the table. “I’ve cooked a vegetable curry for us,” she said as she headed back into the kitchen, “Now Jade, can you eat that or do you need something with more meat in it?” she asked setting down the pot of curry.
Under the table Vincent gave Jade’s hand a reassuring squeeze while simultaneously glaring at his mother.
Jade smiled gently when he held her face and tehn kissed him back passionatly before the wicked witch of the house came back. She gently squeezed vincent's hand, feeling reasurance from her love.
"No I am perfectly able to eat this," Jade said smoothly, tail wagging back and forth. "Are you able to go out in the sunlight or is your inner evil so strong that when you are touched by the light of day you burst into flames."
Jade filled up her bowl of curry calmly before eating it. She ate rather gingerly, in order for Miss Lupin to not make any more dog quips.
IC: The flicker of a scowl crossed Mrs Lupin’s face and a broad smile crept onto Vincent’s. after they had all served themselves and began eating she asked, “So do you two plan on having children?”
“Of course,” said Vincent, giving Jade a warm smile.
“So do you know how big the litter will be,” she asked calmly, “or will the bitch here eat some of them so you’re not overwhelmed?”
Vincent slammed his fork down. He couldn’t believe his ears. Contorting his face in fury he couldn’t form a coherent sentence to spit back, so settled on glaring at her until some of the rage dissipated and he could think clearly.
A large snarl escaped Jade's lips as she looked at Miss Lupin with her fang's glitttering. She froze the womans drink, so when she owuld touch it would shatter.
"I should ask you the same thing you horrible crude thing! How dare you suggest that I would ever do that to my children, do you know that dogs are better parents than humans are," Jade snarled, clearly about to loose her temper. "I have been nice to you, I have even put up with your smart ass quips but nice time is over! I could have killed you if I wanted to but unlike you I have much more control of my beast side!"
Seeing this escalating Vincent decided that it was time to leave. Rising form the table he pointed a finger accusingly at his mother. “We came here to show you our love with the hope that you would just be happy for us. Instead you’ve been sniping at Jade since we got here, and why? Because she’s a mutant.”
“So? I know she’s a mutant, but she’s also the amazingly wonderful, kind and fun person that I love. I’d hoped that would outweigh any prejudice you had, but it looks like I was wrong. You can’t handle Jade being a mutant then fine, we’re leaving, and we’re not coming back.”
With that he headed for the door. “Vincent!” his mother called out, “You can’t just abandon me. You’re making a mistake going with that animal.”
“SHUT UP!” Vincent roared at her, before he and Jade left the apartment, slamming the door behind them. Once out in the hallway he stopped and leant against the wall breathing heavily. Anger coursed through him and he was trying t calm himself down.
Jade wrapped her arms around him. Burrying her head into his chest.
"Vincey....you didnt have to do that. Im sorry for the way I am....Im sorry about your mother too. you really love me that much to shun her out of our lives? I want to be with you Vincey but I dont want you to Isolate yourself from the rest of the world just because of me." Jade felt tears begining to stream down her face.
“Hay, hay,” he soothed, stroking her hair, “Don’t do that, don’t apologise for who you are. I love everything about you, including your mutation. As for my mother, as far as I’m concerned she shunned me by the way she treated you, she brought this on herself. You are all I want in life Jade, all I’ll ever need.”
Taking her shoulders and moving her back so he could see her face he said, “Jade, will you marry me?” It was completely spur of the moment and he didn’t have a ring or anything, but he knew, right then and there, that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Jade.
Jade's eyes widened, she looked at him, bottom lip trembling. She hugged him tightly.
"Of course I will! I DO!" Jade exclaimed

Month's later the two where on there honeymoon, when Jade began noticing something was gonna happen. They had already been there for two days, but now she didnt want to move from the bed in the hotel.
She was in her husky form, waiting for Vincent to get back from the bar. SHe laid on the bed, panting, whimpering and whining. She hoped Vincent would get back soon. She needed him to get back soon.
Vincent came back into the room with a cosmopolitan in each hand. Spotting Jade on the bed in her husky form he gave her a warm smile. The wedding had been amazing, and the reception that Pearl organised was outstanding. He couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
Smiling he walked over and sat on the edge of the bed. “Are you going to change back so you can hold this or should I hold it for you while you drink it?”
Jade turned back into her human form, taking the cosmopolitan from his hand. She drank it rather quickly. Jade looked over at Vicnent, her hand running down his chest.
"Vincent...please finish that drink up quickly." The panting woman managed to get out, body covered in a thin layer of sweat. "I need to tell you something."
Vincent raised an eyebrow in confusion, but rather than argue he did as she asked and drank up. Setting the empty glass aside he gave her a warm smile and said. “There, now what is it you need to tell me?”
Jade was acting strange, but not strange enough to worry him. In all honesty he was intrigued, as he had no idea what was going on.
Jade panted, mouth locking to him, kissing him rather fiercly. Her hands tore at his buttons, undoing them quickly as she attempted to pull off his pants.
"Im in heat!" She said breathlessly. "You know what that means?"
Vincent was caught off guard by the kiss, but welcomed it. “Whoa, slow down Jade,” he said as she tried to undress him as quickly as possible. When she mentioned being on heat he had to pause and think.
“Umm… I think so, isn’t that where dogs go into their breeding cycle and…” he stopped himself short realising what she meant.
