The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

I'm in dire need of a few dangerous mutants that aren't opposed to breaking into a heavily guarded facility that's used to keep dangerous mutants captive. My character has been imprisoned for near nine years now and is in dire need of some fresh air; if anyone would be interested in helping me with a fun plot set around this please post letting me know.
If you would like any more information on the character it's all in my profile; otherwise you may PM me with any questions so we can get something solid underway and have some fun.
I fully volunteer pix to be in this group of mutants. Pix is perfect for breaking people out, and I believe her connections with the paper, would allow her to know he was in prison, and bring this to the order's attention. Or just have the order know.
I like your idea, Pix. Tell the Order. We're always looking to further the advance of mutant kind over those pathetic humans. So when they try to lock one of our kind away, we need to go let them know not to mess with mutants or they got the Order to answer to!
I volunteer as well to break you out. And I could even teleport us inside, Pix, with you being able to turn so small.
I just got permission in the c-box. If we want to do a mission, we don't need mod permission. They encourage us to think up missions with out them like this.
*Mod hat on* To repeat what came up on the Cbox, in more permanent form:
14 Feb 09, 08:49 Calley: That would be fantasticially awesome, Were. 14 Feb 09, 08:49 WereCat/Pix: *Pats Luke.* In that case I might PM you people every now and then with mission ideas. 14 Feb 09, 08:48 Calley: lol, Luke 14 Feb 09, 08:48 Luke: lol. Yes... please... let some of the regular players come up with mission idea! My head hurt after the planning session to come up with those 4. 14 Feb 09, 08:48 Calley: ***Unless you're in the Kabal. Then Slate would have something to say if you did a mission without his permission. 14 Feb 09, 08:48 WereCat/Pix: ok. 14 Feb 09, 08:47 Calley: With the "Mission Mods": it just so happens that the ones planning the current slew of missions are mods; we would absolutely love it if regular players took that initiative, too. Yay, prison break! 14 Feb 09, 08:47 Hymn: i pokes the prisonbreak thread 14 Feb 09, 08:47 Calley: *has already read up on the Prison Break* 14 Feb 09, 08:46 Calley: If you guys have a mission you want to run, go for it! 14 Feb 09, 08:46 Calley: lol There aren't actually missions Mods, as much as we might be making it seem. 14 Feb 09, 08:46 WereCat/Pix: *Pokes the mission mods at be.* I think the order has a mission we would like to do.
So yep, go ahead and run this mission, Orderlings! And if any of you fine players have mission ideas, feel free to post 'em on this subboard or PM the Plot Mods. We <3 player initiative.
Ok now we just need a quick explanation of how people know there's a mission for a break out. I suggest following the idea that Pix discovers he is in the prison through her news paper connections and research. after discovering that there is such a mutant locked up, she walks through the halls of the order once, yelling out she is on a prison break mission and to blame the hamsters, on her way out. The break out team hears her yelling through the halls and wella' we have our quick reason for assembling. Then poof. We all strike a pose, and we are there.
Suggestions for getting there and getting out? I like shade's idea. I believe most of this can just be played by ear.

I do believe you're right; after Pix posts setting up the formation of this team I'll post so that you all know what the facility is like; I think Shade's idea is the best for getting in, though if you feel like a more violent approach that's perfectly fine. It's a isolated area; they have guards but they're not that heavily armed.
After you've all had a moment to post your ideas and we're settled Pix will start, then myself after that you can join as you see fit.

Technically it's not but unless you can think of a good reason for David to find out about the plan or get in with the crew I don't see how he could partake. I'm not opposed to the idea, just not sure how we would work you in with the current plot.

Leila is in, and this is perfect for me. David... I wouldn't mind you joining in, but the thing is, first, like Grey said, you'd need to find a reason to be at the Sanctuary/Nearby to over hear, or spot us. Unless you're at the Facility or something... And, as were already 5 that will participate, the Thread may be a bit crowded. I'm not saying you can't join in though, Maybe the others have different opinions.
