Trying to jump in again after an absence. I don't really have any major plans for this thread, other than hopefully meeting some new mutants (or humans, I guess) and getting caught up IC.
Shade is looking for an opportunity to post in the future plot so if anyone needs someone to cause them a little grief feel free to PM about the thread.

FP Assassins Needed (1-2)!!
Russia is looking for one to two capable assassins to attempt an assassination of China's president. His policy changes towards mutants are undesirable, especially since he first kicked as many of them out of his country as possible (basically kicking them into Russia as refugees) and now wants them back again. Mutants are quite useful for helping boost food supplies by adding capable hands and useful abilities to Russia's farming fields. At this time Russia isn't quite ready to give up all that economic and ecological stimulus. Killing off the Chinese president that dares to declare war on mother Russia is much preferable. The pay is in rubles, but can easily be converted to quite a sizable chuck of any other type of cash. The ruble has been getting quite strong since all those mutants moved in!
FP Bodyguards Needed (1-2)!!
The Chinese president is now learning that mutants are actually useful to have around. Some are useful in the fields, while others have the unique abilities that make them very capable bodyguards. Bodyguards are looking pretty good in a time when one has enemies both abroad and at home. Declaring war is never a popular decision. Anyone who applies for this position would be subject to intense background searches to make absolutely certain that they have no disgruntled feelings toward China or its president. Anyone who has any ties to the Chinese mutant refugees would be immediately disqualified. The pay (in yuan) more than makes up for the hassle of the application process, and the longer the president stays alive, the more the pay accumulates.

Anyways, I still would love to do it. Also, I have past experience with assassinating political figures. *points to FP resumee where Assassination of Potential Anti-Mutant Presidental Candiate is highlighted.*
It think it would be very interesting to have Shade and Seizure/ Peacekeeper work as the assassin team. If you guys want to get started in a thread to get to know each other, make some plans, and get yourselves to China, go right ahead! Please link your thread back here again, so we can all follow your progress.
WereCat, I think you'll make an excellent/ very interesting bodyguard. You could be a solo bodyguard, if you like, but I think it might be more fun if the sides were evenly balanced, so let's wait just a little while to see if anyone else is interested in joining Team-Protect-the-Dictator.
Once the two teams have a chance to get to know each other a little bit, we'll start a thread that merges all 3/4 of you assassin/bodyguard type people.
We still need one more FP bodyguard!
Hades, I'd suggest getting back into the swing of things a bit in the present time line before jumping into the future plot. There are a few threads open around New York City you could join, just look around the city boards. We could always use help recruiting more members to the Kabal, if you find anyone who might fit the qualifications and care to bring them back to the Labs. Also, if you'd like an official Kabal mission, let me know. Calley and I have been trying to keep the Kabal people busy, and I know your characters have worked well with the Kabal before.
I need to run a short solo prior to the Chinese president thread. I will still meet with Shade and I will still kill the man. Or attempt it. Nevertheless, some loose threads need to be wrapped up on my end first. Thanks.
