The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"The 'inner scantem,' if you will. You're cleared to work in secion C, which is a clean zone. You'll go through a cleaning process before you get in for work- it's a bio scan, a- air cleaning... just a lot of wind, basically, and another bio scan. It's quick and painless, providing you shower regularly."
I do shower regulary, but from what I understand everything to you is painless. *Delphi points out a little offended at the barb on how clean she might be.*
"Lydia told you about my power." Aric says with a nod. "If it's any consulation, I used to have a bad habit of almost bleeding to death before I realized I had hurt myself."
So you're the perfect body guard till you pass out from blood loss.*Del muses aloud. That thought had crossed her mind.* Well thank you for showing me around I'm sure I'll see more of you in the future.
"Exactly. Also, if you ever want to be around someone who feels nothing... I'm your guy." He smirks, stoping at a door. "The card keys that Dr.Minelli gave you are for outter doors, such as this one. Once you get further inside, however, retnal scans combined with printing and card readings are the way to go. I'll leave you to it. If you get stuck anywhere, someone will be along to help you."
Lovely, I'll just go meet up with Dr. VanDeKamp then. *Del says, she gets the 'watching you message' loud and clear. She then turns and confidently getting through all the security features thanks in no small part to being able to skip the whole trial and error aspect of life, score one for precognition. She finally enters the 'morgue room'.*
Oh yes, tons of fun sorry you missed all the fun. *Del says crossing her arms and staring at him a little skeptically, she is still a little sarcastic about her physical.* A heads up these people are extremely through, would have been nice.
No matches then? *Delphi asks, as she picks up the patient files and starts to flip through them. Mostly scanning for symptoms.* I know I'm no expert but these symptoms are all over the place, but only in half the sample . . . some people showed no symptoms, or any sign of illness? *Del asks reviewing the charts curious.*
"Indeed. Not to mention the time it takes for symptoms to show up. All over the bloody map. So far we're looking at an illness that wants to be on par with... AIDS or the black plague. We're also unsure right now as to weather or not some of the.... patients aren't showing symptoms because they wern't infected or simply because they were healed, er, too early."
