The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Nothing in the contract is unreasonable. It is however, very geared towards security and the flow of internal knowledge.
"I'll let you go over the contract. I'll be back in, say, five minutes. In that time, if you could please take off your clothes and put on the robe we've provided."
I guess so. *Del says, flatly. She hits the end of the contract, noting set off her own person 'spider sense' so she signs it and and proceeds to change as quickly as possible. She gets onto the exam table and holds the robe tightly on.*
Dr.Minelli returns in exactly five minutes. She picks up and views the signed contract, and smiles a smile that is perfected to be 'reasureing'.
"Good. According to your medical history, you've had physicals before. This is going to be like that, only all the different physicalls rolled into one appointment."
*Del raises an eyebrow at that all in one deal.* Oh joy. *She replies sarcastically.* The other guy who met me in the grage seems to not understand all the different types of 'pain' and should have them explained to him. *Del mutters to her self.*
"Aric got a physicall just like everyone else who works here. For him, that ment a prostate exam, which I happen to know he absolutely destested. Aric is also not one I would take definations of pain from- your finger please.... thankyou. Aric, like you, is X-gene positive, and doesn't feel pain." She pricks Delphi's finger for a blood reading.
Yes, that is a good example. *Del replies, as she wishes this would be done faster. Why they could possibly need all of this, well actually Del knows why but it is terribly inconvient.*
Delphi is put through her paces for the physical, and there are even some tests that wouldn't normally be there. "Alright. I've got a deck of terrot cards here. I'm going to hold one up, and you need to tell me what it is."
*Delphi is still uncomfortable from the testing and is not in an I'm gonna play nice mood so she goes ahead and tells her the first five cards she is going to be holding, and her emotions.* The Fool, tower, death, magacian, and lovers, also you're skeptical on how many of those I will actually get right.
"Not really." She says. "I'm skeptical, yes, but not over your powers. Nice try though." She says, raising an eyebrow. "Please, continue with the cards."
"Your ability as a doctor. No offence, but you're not even an advance med student. However, personel is not my department. I just run the tests. Last five cards please."
