Soooooooo, someone, can't remember who sadly, but you know who you are!!!....

suggested that the baddies have their own color as the X-Men do (silver). I decided since all the goodies don't have a color, therefore all the baddies won't either, it would make more sense if Oppressor's group had a color as well.

Also, is there a group name?? Personally, which I just may stick with cause I like it so much lol, I like "The Sanctified". It plays on the original word sarcastically and sanctified can be used in a negative manner as well as positive...kinda like a cover for what Oppressor is doing anyway. Plus there's the whole 'The Sanctuary' anywho.... *pats self on back*

I'm asking you guys and gals to help pick a color and possibly a name if there isn't one already for them. Give suggestions here please!!

PS- No green, silver, black, white, yellow, blue, red, or purple

When I mentioned those colors, I meant to say not the 'conventional' of those. Maybe some shade like...I don't know melon, aqua, lavendar lol. Something along those lines....

As for the name *Pats J on back*, I actually like Sanctified. But I reckon we just think of as many names as we can and pick one, so we have the best possible name.

I like Syn's suggestion 'Evolution', because we could play with the idea of natural selection and how people with mutations will defeat non-mutants in a survival of the fittest style battle. But I dont think 'evolution' is quite enough. Has to be _____ Evolution.

The name has to be something like 'the brotherhood', which conjures the idea of a hidden society (well, to me it does), and thats why i like the sanctified. but like i said, the more ideas we get, the better.

I like the color of a very bright red, or maybe aqua. But I don't really care too much. Lavender is fine too.

Hellborn, Hellborn Society, Dark Sect, Dark Evolution, Supreme Evolution

The hellborn ones remind me too much of the Hell Riders, or whatever it was that they were called. I always forget specific names, but I'm pretty sure it was something like that.

Also, Overcast is colorblind, but would probably prefer a shade of blue, or perhaps some sort of black? black with stripes on the shoulder? something like that perhaps...

Ok, I think we're starting to get into uniforms, which at this point in time aren't necessary. As for colour... I like the colour that myself and eris wear, that being a dark crimson. I say we go for that...

I don't think we need a name with 'Hell' in it as that seems a more apropriate name for a smaller underground gang which we are not...

Ok... I'm just going type what I'm thinking from now on:

X-Men. The X is short for Xavier so our equivalent would be D-Men... which is dodgy.

We need the name to be sort of... i dunno what the best word is.. mature?

So it has to be subtle, not straight out saying 'EVIL BADDIE TEAM'.

I like Sanctified so far because it's going along the lines of what I was thinking. Also, seeing i've modled Dorian of the Devil, it ironic because sanctify CAN have religious connotations. AND it's not cliche...

But i think its a tad long. Thats my only qualm with it. Sanct-i-fi-ed... 4 syllables.... 5 if you include 'the'. I think four is a good limit... that said im not knocking The Sanctified on the head just yet. Before J put that idea forward I was thinking 'The Chosen'... but again, im not sure about it. Doesn't seem strong enough. Sanctified at least as some bite to it...

Dark Order? Order of Darkness? (A little cliche, but it could work)

...Still lovin my Sanctified! lmao I don't like Evolution because it's attached to the X-Men cartoon show. I wanted to think of something completely different and away from that.

I was also trying to stay away from the crimson color because its soooo close to the red text used as the default. BUT, I'll change it cause you guys seem to like that much! I'll keep checking this thread for final decisions.

I know I'm the new girl, and not a baddie, and it's already been decided......but I'm going to stick my two cents in anyway.

Sanctified sounds good to me, 'cause in religion something sanctified is set apart for a special purpose. And don't you baddies, for the most part, feel that mutants are a special 'race', meant for a greater purpose? So the name gives the impression of something lofty and noble, yet........mysterious.

Just curious Oppressor, since I haven't had a chance to get to know your character, are you the kind of villan that doesn't believe he is a villan, the kind that believes he's doing what is best for man...er.....'mutantkind'? If so, the name fits perfectly. Either way, I like it. Looking forward to creating a baddie when I reach the 300 posts. I think I already have her profile in mind..... ;D

My only thing about the Sanctified is well, it comes across as more like saviors and that really doesn't fit with Syn at all. For more than the reason of her name having a close similarity to the word sin.

I could handle something like Dark Order, but in all honesty I 'm not sure if there is a group name out there that is more feared than the Magneto's Brotherhood. Yes, I know we don't want to use that but I'm just giving my opinion.

Since religious references have been made what about Dorian King's Dark Angels? Just a thought.

I'm really liking the idea of something new.

BTW I love the Crimson color. Fits Eris perfectly.

Maybe something like the Fellowship? Or maybe the Sanctified Trust and Adroit (Skilled) Fellowship. The accronym would be STAM. Or maybe something to that affect?

I like Fellowship the best. Or maybe Sanctified Fellowship.

Anyways... I really don't have any other ideas. I'm stumped. I really like the Fellowship because it's similiar to the Brotherhood, only different. It's simple and easy to remember, and easy to type, and sort of descriptive.

But hey, I'm cool with whatever is decided. It's not really that huge of a deal... we just need to make a decision and move on with the plot.
