The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

I’ve returned. As promised filled with ice-cream (which had to be eaten in the rain), and a cold (See earlier weather compliant), and one less friend due to an incidence involving a volcano, and a well timed push .

*makes mental note to stay nice and far from volcanoes when ever Nox is in the vicinity. Or the country. Heck, even if she dies, volcanoes, can't be too good to hang around*
lol well you got the ice cream, but not the warmth. Did you get the promised knowledge? *Chuckles at thought of Nox having knowledge. ducks potential projectile*
*decides not to waste time finding something to throw and instead rugby tackles Ted* Ha. And just wait, eventually you have to end up near a crater of some sort, in fact any cliff would do just as well. *smiles sweetly at the thought*, and yes in fact i did learn something, a little bit, namely the fact you can buy vodka ice cream.

Saturday, November 17, is the day me 'n' Katrina take our teacher certification tests.
Don't know about her, but I'm goin' into high-gear studying right about now. I'll still be online, but I'll probably be responding slowly to all my threads. On the Day of Truth, I'll probably come home and eat ice cream and chocolate and then nap until Sunday.
In conclusion: if it seems like I'm ignoring my threads, that's just 'cause I'm sitting in front of the computer with about three textbooks and seven or so notebooks. Talkin' on the Cbox is stress relief. Writing posts, however, is time-consuming. Therefore...
Oh! And I'll be applying for the JET program, and I'll be preparing for student teaching, and I'll be doing NaNoWriMo, and I'll be diligently attempting to see how much sugar it takes to OD. So busy busy next few weeks/months/life.

Good luck on your test! Don't worry about posting, I'm sure that Shogun and Doc Jimmy/Wallace and Thing 2/Natalie and the other girls will be able to cope for a little while without you making everything so funny

Oooo..... Calley, when you find out about the sugar, can you try caffine next?? *is immensely curious* lol Hope all goes well for ya. ;D
And I'll be on vacation from the 14th through the 18th, and not sure if I'll have net access. If I do, I drop a post here and there, but won't be chatting. And apologies in advance for making up for lost time afterwards. ;D
Well this is just to let you lovely people know that I don’t know how active I will be able to be for the next few days(Could be a week. I don't know.) The hard drive on my laptop decided to suddenly die yesterday (witch really sucks because I use it every day for my classes.) I will try to check in on the site at least every other day and I am trying to get my computer back into the store. I just need to get a friend to give me a ride.
The good news is I paid extra money for a warranty in case such a thing happened. Plus the only files on there that I don’t have extra copies of are my art history notes. Other than that, everything will turn out. I just may be MIA off and on.

So, just as a reminder to everyone: Katrina and I have our teacher certification exams this Saturday, the 17th. Don't know about her, but that means my posts are probably going to be erratic/conspicuously lacking until Sunday.
Hey everyone. Next week on wensday, thursday(Thanksgiving) and possibly friday, I won't be able to post at all. I'm basically gonna be dead from my job. Wensday night before Thanksgiving, *shudders* I've heard the horror stories. But I will post up a storm on what I can teusday. Thanks everyone. Have a good thanksgiving!
I shall be going home for Thanksgiving tomorrow afternoon and will be back Sunday night. The internet connection is spotty at best, so I won't be on much. Once a day if I have patience. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!
