The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

As Ella and Toxis leave, The Archer pulls himself up so that he is standing. He slowly makes it to the back of the alley, to his to his motercycle, and eventually speeding off down the street.
A man found himself standing in a bar, looking down at his bloody mary. He sighed, wondering where he should go to next. He had been to many bars, and had had many drinks. He had also been in some fights with other bar goers, and alot of bouncers, seeing as he would not let them handle his Masamune. He looked over at the the other people in the bar. They were all looking at him, some of them having that look in their eyes. He did not want to beat them up, so he finished off his bloody mary, and took out his wallet. He payed his bill, put his wallet away, grabbed his sword and made his way out of the bar. "So then" he said to himself, seeming to be drunk. "Where do I want to go now?" He reached behind him, grabbing the wrist of a little girl that was trying to pick his pocket. "That's a dangerous habit you've got there." he told the girl. "Go on, get outta here." he said, letting her go. "And stop picking pockets!" he yelled out to her as she ran down the sidewalk.

The Archer sits atop a low rooftop, anyone looking from the street would see nothing, just shadows. Someone walking on the opposite side of the alley, though would plainly be able to see him crouching, about to aim his bow.
*Archer's dumb luck would be Ravage entering the alleyway at that moment, silent as she usually is. She immediatly notices him and not saying a word decided to see what the caped-dumbass-crusader is up to now . . . didn't he retire?*

The Archer sees what he was waiting for, and pulls back the bow string. The arrow lays on its rest, and then cuts through the air as he realeases the string. It finds its target, in the man's chest who just turned the corner at the street.

He lowers his bow slowly, taking one lastl ook to make sure the man is dead. He stands up, holding his bow at his side. "Rapist and a murderer." He says simply.
And your not a rapiest I take it. *Ella says, she is a bit off now. Rape is not approved of by her, but murder . . .well death is just the cost of living, and if it was a human that matters even less.*
So I heard an announcemnt you were done with the crime fighting . . . your retirement seems to have ended really fast. *Ella says to his retreating form.*

"Only for a little while. You believe everything the news tells you?" The Archer asks, looking up at Ella from his bag. He seems to be getting out a book of some sort.

"And why is that?" He asks, scratching a name out on the book and putting it back in the bag. He looks up at her. "It looked to me as if you found me, not the other way around. And you shouldn't be so sure of yourself." He says, picking up his medium sized duffle bag and standing up.
You were the one who ruined my fun the first time we met, and my roomie doesn't seem to like you either, but moslty for fun. *Ella informs him of her three reasons.(yes she has three reasons like a normal person should) I'm not kicking your ass tonight because I'm not a fan of rapiests either.
Jocelyn walks down the street slowly, coughing very badly. She pauses for a moment and leans against a wall. She looks terrible; her clothes are dirty and her face is pale. She looks like she's been on the streets for a while. She keeps walking unsteadily down the sidewalk, but collapses right outside an alleyway, coughing as she leans against the brick wall. She doesn't notice that there are two other people near her. She starts shaking badly and her head starts spinning.
