The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"My car." Derek says as he locks his door. He picks up his bag, and leads her around the driveway to his SUV. He opens the back up, and puts their bags in. "Alright, all set." He says, walking around to the passenger side and opening the door for Ella.
*Ella gets in and survevys the SUV, she is used to limos when riding . . . well those or sports cars.* Will we be 'off roading'? *Ella asks curious as to why they are taking such a large vehicle, she didn't pack that much.*

"Not really...no...this is just what my family and I used." He says, starting up the SUV. "I just haven't gotten around to buying a new car, because I can't afford it." He says as he pulls out the drive way.
Ah. *Ella says, as she proceeds to fiddle with the setting of everything from the lumbar support to the radio station till she is comfortable.* So how long is the trip there?

"Assuming I don't forget the way? We'll probably be settled in at eight." Derek says, and that's just about how long it takes them to get to the mountain. Only getting lost once or twice...

The Archer comes in the back way toward his home, holding on to Ella tightly as he guides the moter cycle into the garage. At this point...something in him doesn't care if she knows about him anymore. And...he feels a lot different on his stance toward crime. He lifts her up, holding her in his arms and going toward a work bench.
*After spending so much time on the motorcycle with a freely bleeding arm she has moved into the dizzy and fast pulse stage, which isn't going to be too serious if the bleeding is stopped soon and she gets some rest.* Where - - ? *Ella starts to ask but she is more confused and tired than anything else, and can't figure out what is bugging her about this place.*

Archer reaches into a storage drawer, pulling out several thigns. He carefully rolls Ella onto her back. "I need you to take these." He says, handing her three small pills. "I'm going to have to take out the bullet, and I don't think you'll like this pain."
*It takes a little convincing but Ella takes the pain killers and grits her self for Archer to get the bullet out of her arm, which seem like a fine idea to her once she establishes that yes there is a bullet in her arm.*

The Archer pulls out a first aid kit, grabbing gauze, tweezers, and alcahol out of it. "This may hurt a little." He says, pouring the alcahol on the wound, and then sticking the tweezers inside the wound, trying to grasp the bullet.
Generi il asshole! Fucking che danneggia, cacano, si arrestano! *Ella yells, switching between English vulgarities and Italian. Due to the pain she breaks out into a cold sweat.*

Archer manages to get the bullet out quickly. He pours more alcahol on her wound, and applys pressure with one hand as he cleans up around the entry wound. After about a minute, he gets more gauze and some of the tape from the first aid kit. He wraps up her wound carefully, making sure not to make it to tight or to loose. He sighs, stepping back from Ella. "Do you want a towel?"
*Once Derek was done with the really painful stuff Ella realized how tired she is and has been trying to fall asleep. Her eyes are closed and she shakes her head in a negative manner.* Non . . .
