The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Daria listened silently, typing away on her laptop with god knows what. The mission would be a perfect chance for her to show Tricity the new headsets she'd made and test them out.
When she heard that Deathstar needed a new uniform she was eager to volunteer since all the new people on the team and the old would come to her for any tech needs eventually. But she knew better than to ask. She would talk to tricity when she was less busy and do her best to avoid having Deathstar on her team; she didn't want the girl's feelings to interfere with her professionalism.
she gently tugged at Mike's mind. You're going to do great, captain. she said in response to his short lapse in self-confidence. I don't think you're going to have any more trouble but if you do landing in two comas within a matter of months would just be amazing, medically speaking of course.
Raphael arrived a whee bit late, and not in the fashionable sense. He frowned somewhat as the meeting seemed to be well underway and took a silent seat at the table with hardly a glance around. If he were to be called out, and he knew he deserved to be so, so be it, he could take his licks as well as anyone else. He looked around and tried to figure out what he had missed.
Cassiel, on the other hand, really didn't seem bothered by Raphael's late arrival. He just lazily waved at one of the seats, making a mental note to fill him in when there was a chance.
Right after Raphael's late arrival came Emerald, who sheepishly eased her way into the war room. She hadn't been in this part of the mansion since the fusionist mission. She had almost had forgotten to come if not for Ruby's reminder when she woke up from her afternoon hunt and feast.
The wolf girl seemed to be doing that more and more lately, because she was trying to keep her wolf side susstained until she could better control her urges.
Em still couldn't believe she was a full fledged x woman now, she was probably one of the youngest on the team but she didn't care she was still part of it. She eased herself into a seat close to Mike and Daria trying her best to fill in the blanks as to what in the world was going on, tail wagging back and forth slowly.
Pfft, Calley thought to himself as he scooted the bare minimum of inches necessary to let this newest girl open the door. If you weren't so cute, I wouldn't move. The fact that she smelled like a wolf certainly had nothing to do with how quickly he let her past. Once she was inside, he slid back and kept hoping to hear something. It never occurred to him that sitting right in front of the door might not be such a good idea.
At least the smells were interesting. Besides the Small Goodie Wolf, he'd also had to let the talkative spy from the Sanctuary past. The man certainly wasn't cute enough to make Calley move, but Calley did owe him for asking all those good questions at the Sanc, not to mention stirring up the Order so that Calley had gotten to sit in on a very interesting meeting of the Future Leaders of Tomorrow club. The other spy was in the room somewhere, too--the one who hadn't talked much but had given that horrible excuse of why they had to leave. Girls waiting for them at a restaurant? Riiight.
The best smell by far, of course, was the other cat. A lady, if his nose wasn't leading him astray. Her scent was an interesting mix--a delicate weave of cat and human. Calley had never met another cat mutant. And while he wasn't technically a "cat" shifter, it was safe to say that he felt a certain kinship with the lovely smelling woman inside of the room. There were all sorts of questions he wanted to ask her: Which do you prefer--pigeons, or mice? Do you find yourself entranced by dripping faucets? Have you ever, errhm, spent two years hiding as a cat because it seemed a lot easier than being human? Do you loathe all things that mess up your fur?
He licked a paw and rubbed it behind his ear. The Mansion seemed like an interesting place. All the secret meetings of the Sanctuary with none of the underlying inter-team hostilities, as far as he'd seen--not that he'd seen much. But the whole place seemed to have a friendlier atmosphere then the Sanctuary. They had the same terrible, terrible security that every budding spy loved, though.

((ooc: I'm going to make a post so i can in on this. If you want me out than I'll delete it.))
Mettaliar had returned from the park after the incident. He immediately went and washed his face up of the dried blood as it was still there. Afterwards he asked where Tricity was and got the answer that she was in the War Room. Not hesitating to think if he should go or not he walked down and opened the door. He saw Tricity sitting at the table and spoke up.
"Uhh... I need to talk to you privetly. When you're done that is." He was about to leave before noticing the hologram of the girl. He stopped and raised an eyebrow. No... that can't be....
(OOC: Calley, your posts are very brilliant indeed Syn is going to release Iris back at the mansion for the residents to deal with while the X-Men are going to go to KP and deal with Sentinel (pending) and the rest of The Order. That way residents will be able to get involved with the plot. The X-Men won't know about Iris coming back home as they will be fighting with The Order. I'll have Johnathon contact Daria or Tric to let them know. Okie? I'm ending this thread, so you guys can make exit posts. Since there are going to be A LOT of us posting in the fight scene, I'm not going to make a posting order. Just keep your butt active when the thread is up. I'll let you know when...)
Tricity looked over to the trainee and spoke honestly. "I don't know if this girl is fighting with them or not. Xavier wasn't able to reach into her mind and find out. These people have some serious technology going on there... Daria, can you provide Star with a uniform please?" She looked back at the rest of the several people in the room. "Let's move out to King's Pharmaceuticals and get Iris back and possibly any others they have there against their will. As for security, Fade said it's pretty tight. Guards, cameras, the works..."
Just then the door to the War Room opened and Mettaliar was there asking to speak to Tricity. "All right everyone... We meet up in the garage to head out in 30 minutes, TOPS." Everyone began getting up and exiting and she waved Mettaliar inside toward the back so they could talk. "No interrupting meetings, ok? What's wrong?"
The advanced audio equipment in the bell on Calley’s collar allowed Hunter to hear every word. It appeared that two members of the school had been kidnapped and the school’s fighting unit, these X-men, were going to go and rescue them. The ones doing the kidnapping appeared to be the Order that Calley had spoken of.
Hunter would have the data reviewed by analysts later, but for now he wanted to identify the would be hacker. Adjusting the speaker on the collar to a pitch that only a cat’s ears could hear, and a very low volume (OOC: So Daria you might hear something faintly if you’re close enough to Calley) he said “Move on.”
He hoped that Calley would have the sense to find somewhere private so he could offer more detailed instructions, as he couldn’t risk any more communication with the X-men near by.

Calley
((ooc: Thank you, Lady J. ))
Stupid doors. Stupid door-opening women. Stupid mission. Calley gave his fur a vicious lick-down as he sat down across the hallway from the door, and caught the Girls and Boy Scouts of the Mansion on camera as they exited the room. Stupid bells. Stupid doctors. Stupid Scary Boss Men.
“Move on.”
...That was certainly one way to skin a cat. Calley was on his feet before he’d even registered that the familiarly unwelcome voice was coming from his bell. Was the man a telepath? He really hoped the man wasn’t a telepath. Actually, Calley didn’t even know if his new employer was a mutant—besides the guy’s unfortunate aptitude at sneaking up on monkeys, Calley hadn’t really seen any evidence that Hunter wasn’t simply a human with a very diverse payroll. If he was a mutant, though... Please don’t let him be a telepath. To any real telepath nearby, the thought would have suddenly emerged from a litany of door-hating and disappeared again just as quickly.
Calley moved on, back towards the stairs he’d come down, ears still laid back just the slightest bit and tail still flicking occasionally. He wasn’t a very happy looking kitty.

Mettaliar let her finish the meeting and waited by the door to keep the way open for others to leave. Once the others started to get up he walked over to the back of the room to where she was and stood in front of her.
"I'm sorry, but this is important." He glanced over at the hologram and sighed. "I have a feeling you've already figured out what the whole deal is. What I came to say is that if you needed any information about anything... I could provide you with it. You see, I was with her," he spoke pointing at the hologram, "and the other kidnapped mutants in wherever they are. They're holding testings with this other mutant and everything." He stopped to inhale and glanced at her. "I have a feeling I'm just giving you redundant news though. I just needed to find you to let you know what happened to me for the past few days. If you need any more info or anything, I want to help. The testing they put us through... just brutal."
As Tricity concluded the meeting, Deathstar looked toward Daria and rolled her eyes not wanting to engage in any activity with her. She notice Daria whispering to a woman she haven't quite met yet, and this enrage Deathstar, but not wanting to cause a scene Deathstar stood quickly letting the chair hit the floor and proceeded to walk out of the war room angry.

Daria smirked slightly as the girl left the room. "Sure Tricity, I'll have her two way and uniform ready at the garage. And don't worry about their technology; I've always got a few tricks up my sleeve." she winked and stood to walk out after deathstar.
"I'm sorry you had to go through this. Make sure to see Johnathon at the security center and relay anything you can to him. We have to head out now, ok?" Tricity ushered him to the door and headed upstairs to dress for the confrontation.
Emerald watched everyone starting to leave the room after they where filled in and she nodded in response. She started out the door, tail wagging back and forth slowly.
"Im gonna get a good hunt in before we go...just to try to keep my wolf side It check. " Emerald Said, walking out the door.
