Crystal blinked as Kaz followed Miss Tipper out. Her scanner registered a slight raise in body temperature when he had looked at her, but she put it off as part of the confrontation between him and..... she checked her files.... Mike. Hmm.

She sighed in irritation, and looked around at the others, hands on her hips.

"All right then, who's next in charge of the students then?" She knew who Chip considered 'in charge', but she wasn't sure she trusted his info.

Mike quirked an eyebrow at that question, glancing at Wire. "A month out has gotten me behind... who or what IS that? And... it's a fair question, who IS next in charge anymore?"

Kaz noticed a young girl, around Syn's age running down the hall. He noticed a bit of a resemblance between the two and took a chance. As she was passing him he spoke. "Deathstar....your siblings are looking for you."

Mike narrowed his eyes, glancing at Deathstar, then looking at Wire and Daria. "How the hell are all these kids getting in here?"

'Who the hell does this guy think he is?' He was about to respond when Tricity motioned them to not get involved. He turned back to the hologram which quite frankly freaking him out. He felt the mental push from Mike, questioning next-in-charge. "You are now, brotha! Oh, and Star is training for the team. Just started," he said out loud, sitting next to Daria.

Deathstar stopped instantly as the new guy spoke about her siblings, With her back towards him she remained silent and cotinued to walking inside war room as if she never heard him. Obviously She was hiding something and she knew it was time to speak on it.

"Hey wire." she smiled and listened to his explanation for Mike.

"Yeah...lots of new comers." she glanced over at Deathstar. That one in particular seems to hate me. She started a fight with Nika and I for absoltuely no reason. She's got a serious authority problem. She warned.

Crystal gave everyone in the room another once-over. Emotions were running high, for a reason that was lost on her. But then again, this was the War Room. Odd name, considering the Xmen's objective. Oh well.

She turned her attention to Mike again, tilting her head slightly.

"Very well. I'm reporting a disappearance from the Mansion. Rayne Belamount hasn't returned to her room for nearly forty-five hours. I believe everyone calls her 'Iris'. She also hasn't used her phone or computer in the same amount of time. Also her cat hasn't been fed or watered, or her box changed in over a day. We were also supposed to train in that time, but she hasn't activated me herself in nearly three days." She tilted her head again. "Suffice it to say that her personality flaws would never allow any of this to happen on purpose." She paused for a response.

Deathstar rolled her eyes and took a deep sigh when Daria glanced at her, but the hologram mentoned kidnappings in which caught the full attention of Deathstar. She paid attention closely to the report when she heard one of her dear friends was missing. "WHAT! this can't be possible" she belched out in the middle of the meeting, Rising up in her seat she stared at the hologram hoping it will be a hoax. "Why Iris?" she questioned herself in a soft voice.

Mike frowned, looking back at Crystal. The look on his face made it obvious that he was taking her seriously. "I'm at a disadvantage here. Do you have any information that might help us... her last known location, places she regularly visited off campus or near the campus boundaries, any known non-residents she's been coming into conflict with?"

He added in a mental aside to Wire and Daria, "Well, if that kid sidetracks her for too long, one of you needs to take the business part of this meeting for me... my little nap means I'm far behind on the business at hand."

Tricity quirked an eyebrow at Kaz in total confusion about him. She didn't answer him at first and folded her arms over her chest. "Look... this school isn't supposed to be a secret. It hasn't been in many years, nor has the original school. The X-Men, however, aren't as open to the world, though we aren't hiding from anyone either. Our visit to Dorian King's institute wasn't meant to be some secretive operation. A couple residents from here went to check the place out. End of story." She rested against the wall with her hands on her hips. "Care to tell me why you are so interested in our visit there or how you even knew?"

Crystal blinked at the blond girl's outburst. Her picture wasn't in her files either, so she added it, to be named later. Obviously she knew Rayne, perhaps a friend recently made.

"Sorry, can't help ya much," she replied to Mike. "She's only been here for a little while. Hasn't even really moved into her room just yet. For that matter, I've only been working with her for since she came here. I can tell you she wasn't going to meet anyone, at least not according to her last couple of phone calls." Yet another thing Iris had no knowledge of; Crystal monitoring her calls. She shrugged. "Knowing Rayne, she went shopping. The girls a shopaholic." She rolled her eyes.

One of the computer monitors flicked on, and a picture of Iris's Expedition appeared on the screen.

"That's her wheels. Maybe that'll help." She crossed her arms, as if bored. "Any other questions?"

"Actually, yes... a little off topic, but that's fine since I can't do a search for her from underground anyway. Who are you?" Mike asked, still looking quizically at Crystal. He really, really hoped he wasn't going to be getting lip from a hologram for that question.

Kaz laughed a bit. "Not a secret? Then what was with the lame background and reason for being there and leaving that your people gave? Sure seems like a secret." Kaz leaned back against the wall. "Besides, I use to live there. If you wanted to know about it, instead of sending some people in to investigate, you could have just asked. I still keep in contact with people there. Spacificly the security people. They caught and followed a heat source through the building's lower levels that wasn't showing up on normal cameras."

Kaz was silent for a moment. "Why go there and investigate anyway? Is it wrong for a place to give mutants a place to live besides the mansion here?"

"I'm a Mutant Power Analyzation and Training Hologram, also known as an MPath. Rayne calls me Crystal. Most of the people in charge around her are super busy, so I was designed to help her discover and push her limits in training her mutation on her own." Her tone ran the gambit from dull informative to mildly reproving. "I'm also compatible with the Danger Room computers." She purposefully neglected to mention who had created her.

"Anything else?"
