The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Daria slipped into the war room, politely extinguishing her cigarette long before she came into the presence of the very pregnant Tricity.
She took her seat next to the head Mistress, folded her legs and twitched her ears slightly. A solemn expression was on her face, a familiar one lately. She'd been in the infirmary as she often was, next to Mike.
"Sorry I'm late." she mumbled and then got a better look at Tricity. Out of pure animal instinct, she sniffed the woman and rubbed her head against Tricity's shoulder.
"Are you alright?" she demanded with a gaze that was unusually demanding. Daria had grown.
"Not particularly," she whispered to Daria, who was the closest of the X-Men to her. "I'm gonna start now, so everyone come around the table please." She looked over at the door toward Drakhein. "Thank you for your offer, but for now, we won't need any assitance. If we do, I will definitely let you know."
Once they were to themselves, Tricity sat back and cleared her throat, pushing away the nausea and dizziness. "Charles has informed me that a mutant named Jacquelyn was being held at a facility where the doctors, scientists, or whoever...were trying to understand her mutation better. Apparently this facility is actually not as bad as would seem. These mutants aren't safe around others, human and mutant alike, and actually themselves. A few nights ago, a group called The Order, which I am looking more into, invaded the facility and kidnapped a couple of the mutants there." Tricity took a sip of her tea and then continued. "I don't know much about one of the mutants, but Jack is of certain concern because her mutation causes other mutants powers to go out of whack. Around humans, Jack causes them to get incredibly ill. This group is a bunch of mutants. So...I have no idea how they were able to take the girl without having problems with their mutations as well. I think even sedated, Jack will cause powers to go crazy. The leader of The Order is Dorian King. I saw him last month on TV, offering shelter to mutants. I think perhaps we should pay this place a visit. I don't want the volunteers to go in uniform..."
Tricity looked through the faces of those around her. Seeing as Daria was side by side with Mike all the time, she decided to keep her here at the mansion. "Wire, Raphael, and Fade will go," she simply stated. "Alright? I want you three to head out tonight. Don't go looking for a fight. Keep questions simple. You aren't going in as X-Men...maybe, prospective residents there. Though, I've heard Kaine may be there, so avoid him if possible."
Suddenly the electronic equipment began to fade in and out, followed by the rest of the mansion. Tricity held her head in pain and then her stomach as she felt a sudden pressure. "Ah GOD! Of course now, why not now!!" She noticed everyone looking around in curiousity. "My...water broke..."
Deathstar quietly sat throughout the meeting listening about the new group called "The Order", she was curious to figure out why would anyone want such a dangerous mutant, instead of asking questions she just observed the rest of the X-men. The meeting was quick and to the point, it didn't seem serious but Tricity is very good at staying calm in bad situations as so she thought.
At the closing of meeting, Tricity announced who will be scouting out this sanctuary, Deathstar glanced at Fade and Raph, nodding her head "Good luck, don't hurt them too much" she says jokingly trying to calm the mood at the meeting. She didn't know this Wire guy too well, but she figured he will have her new found friends back.
The lights and appliances began to turn off and on, The Coffee machine began spilling out hot coffee, the video projector began to shoot out sparks. Deathstar suddenly stood up not knowing what to make out of the situation, she looked around the room trying the source of this sudden electrical outbreak.
"My...water broke"
Deathstar looked down on tricity realizing the day has finally come, even though she didn't her very well, she had to do something to calm and ease her pain. Deathstar kneeled down beside her and grabbing her hand not knowing what to do, "Okay we need to get her to the infirmary" she looked at the X-men hoping one of them has the strength to carry her there.
Wire opened the door to the room a bit startled. He was late for the meeting and began running down the hallway when he noticed the lights in the quiet hallway begin to flicker on and off. "What's going on??" He immediately saw Tricity holding her stomach and seemingly going paler by the second. When Deathstar asked for assitance, Wire quickly ran over and put one of Tricity's arm around his shoulders, picking her up under the legs. "Someone open the doors till we can get to the elevator. There's a wheelchair in the closet down the hall..." He carefully made his way to the door, hoping the Doc Prof was ready. Though, he was fairly sure with all the electronic commotion, the Doc Prof knew something was up with Tricity.

Daria was close to being upset that she wasn't doing feild work as she normally was but she had very little time to react. She was wondering what the strange smell was...this explained it.
"Don't worry Tricity." the cat woman said soothingly. She had no clue what she was doing, she was more used to children than pregnant women, but she used the same calming tone she always used. "Everything will be alright. You know the breathing, I know you do, come on, I'll breath with you."
It was too dangerous to teleport Tricity, especially since Daria couldn't picture the baby or it's position. She simply teleported a stretcher and a blanket from the infirmary.
Fade smiled, feeling a slight bit more awake when Raph entered the room and placed his hand on her shoulder, squeezing gently. He then proceeded to sit down and take her uncoffee-occupied hand.
When Bast had arrived Tricity began giving missions. Fade listened to her own mission and nodded in understandment. "Oh, we'll get our information." Fade nodded to Deathstar with a smirk. She wasn't saying that she was going to be violent, it was one of those phrases that could be interpreted differently depending on who heard it. She guessed that Deathstar would take it as like a I'm-tough-and-I'll-get-what-I-want kind of phrase whereas Tricity might, or so Fade hoped she would, think of it as an I-won't-let-you-down kind of phrase.
Just before Fade stood up to get ready to leave for their Sanctuary visit, the electricity began to go crazy. She looked around, trying to think of what could be setting them off when she heard Tricity's voice and she knew. Fade had never seen a woman having birth, she'd never even seen it on TV. When she saw Wire and Daria take the situation, she moved over to Tricity's side and grabbed her hand. Fade didn't know what to say or what to do. She didn't have a clue. So she looked over at Daria and then moved over and opened the doors wide for the headmistress.
Tricity tried to calm herself down in order to stable the electricity in the house, but it was no use. It wasn't because she was in so much pain or anything like that... It was more because of the hormonal inbalance. In actuality, she wasn't scared, but more upset at the timing. Tricity held onto Wire as he began moving toward the doorway until Daria had teleported a stretcher from the infirmary. He placed her down and she closed her eyes as everyone busily moved around her.
When they reached the elevator down the hall, the bell was continously ringing as the car moved from floor to floor. "Ugh...I'm so sorry..." she whispered in agitation. This was going to be difficult. Suddenly, Tricity felt her power grow stronger and knew she was at her second level of mutation. Her eyes had turned black and she could possibly shoot out electrical charges from her body. If anyone touched her, she would give them a good shock. Wire was touching the frame of the bed, metal, in order to move her. "Dominic, move from...the bed!" she shouted. "Don't anyone touch me right now... You'll have to get the Doc Prof down here. There's no way I can make it upstairs."
Setsuna was watching television with several of the children when the screen began flickering on and off. 'What's goin on?' A moment later, the lights, radio, and clocks were going out of whack. Everyone looked around in confusion. She stood from the couch and went into the hallway where others had stepped out of the kitchen, dining room, and dens to see what was up. A little boy named Eric pulled at her hoodie. "It's prolly Miss Tipper, Suna."
She took off down the hallway and began asking where Tricity was until remembering the X-Men were having a meeting in the War Room. Setsuna ran to the elevator, but saw it was going up and down and never stopping on any floor. She hurried to the stairs and took them all the way down to the basement where she saw the X-Men surrounding Tricity on a stretcher. "What's happened??" At a second glance, Suna finally understood and wondered why no one was moving to help her. "Shouldn't we get her upstairs?!"

Daria wanted to just teleport the electricity but she couldn't teleport any element that she couldn't physically endure.
She disappeared in a flash immediately telling the Doc what was happening. She then helped him teleport himself and the equiptment he needed immediately to Tricity. A nurse ran to gather the rest and meet them.
The Doc Prof wore thick Rubber gloves and gave a pair to Daria who fearlessly slipped her hand in Tricity's and sqeezed it tight. She was unharmed. The doc used a special stethoscope to check her stomach and listen to the movement inside, everything had to be shock-proof.
Daria stood close by for any instructions.
"I'll be honest with you." she said, trying to distract the headmistress "I'm not good with blood and I'm easily excitable, however.....I'm here for you." she smirked and shifted on her feet.[/color]
Tricity gave a slight smirk as she tried to control her breathing. "Thanks...hun." The Doc Prof pushed her back into the War Room where he placed several things down on the table to help him with the birth. A spark shot out from around Tricity and slammed into a monitor. "Doc, maybe this isn't the place to be..."
"We can't get you upstairs. This will have to do," the Doc simply said as he prepared a needle. He squirted a bit to make sure the bubbles were out and looked down at her.
Tricity hated needles. Like...really hated. "WHOA! Doc, what are you doing?!" she exclaimed, scooching up on the stretcher. Another spark shot out and hit the wall.
"We need to get you calmer before you destroy everything and everyone," he replied somewhat seriously and somewhat sarcastically. "Daria, close the doors." He turned around to the other people who had gathered in the hallway. "Everyone else stay out for now. Someone should inform everyone else what's going on. I'm sure there are a lot of curious children."
Tricity looked at Deathstar as Daria began to close the door on them. "Star, this will be a mini mission for ya. Make...sure...to everyone knows we aren't under attack... or anything, please! X-Men who are headed to The Sanctuary, get going ASAP and let me know what's happened... AAH! Good Lord!!" The Doc had snuck around and placed the needle in Tricity while she wasn't paying attention and the doors finally closed.
(OOC: Yea, I modded you Daria.. Whatchya gonna do about it?! lol Sorry hun.. Hope you didn't mind. )
Dominic watched as the doors finally closed and gave a heavy sigh of relief, putting a hand through his hair. He pulled out a bag of chips and popped it open, munching away. Another spark could be heard shooting from Tricity and hitting a piece of equipment in the War Room. "Well... glad we didn't have to see that." He turned to the other X-Men. "What's this about The Sanctuary, was it?"
Fade moved back as Tricity began to shoot electricity from her body. When the doors were shut, she couldn't help but feel, slightly relieved that she did not have to do anything. Truth is, she wouldn't have known what to do, she would have run around, completely clueless to her role and she probably would have made the situation worse. So it was better that she was not in the room.
"I dunno, guess we've got to go pay them a visit and see what they are all about, and not as X-Men. So I guess we'll be putting on characters? Unless we run into Kaine...that would suck." She remembered him slightly. They briefly talked once at the mansion, but he was gone before she became an X-Man, so even if they were to cross paths, he wouldn't know she was an X-Men and Fade would be able to play it off as if she could never stay in one place for too long. She had the mentality of a homeless person, after all, she used to be one. This would be a simple task. All she had to do was act like herself a year ago...
...but a year ago held bad memories and did Fade really want to relive them so she could act like she once did?...
Deathstar stood behind the little chaos and let the doc do his work, she watched as tricity squirm about not wanting to recieve the needle. Deathstar eyes squint with pain at the sight of the needle being inserted into tricity's arm ."Yes!, I am on it" she responds to tricity orders and leaves the room without a sound.
Raphael nodded as Tricity explained, and then gave out orders. His first official assignment as an X-Man, whoohoo! He then leapt from his seat as Tricity went into the first stages of labor. He certainly did not know what to do, so simply made himself scarce, standing back to give room to Wire as he carried Tricity out the door. He followed in the wake of people exiting the room, trailing behind everyone heading to the infirmary. He listened to Tricity order him along with Wire and Fade to head out. He nodded and silently left the infirmary.
He looked over at Fade as she spoke, and shook his head. “No, why put on a fake face that may be seen through? I’d say we go as ourselves, if the Mansion comes into conversation, we give a quasi-legit reason for leaving. Would be better to tell a version of the truth that a psychic could pluck out as the truth than to tell a full lie and have the same result.” He found his feet carrying him down the hallway. He had lied before, certainly, and knew that it was better to include a version of the truth. It was not long before he stood before his room.
“Gonna grab my coat and duffel bag,” he said and opened his door. He walked inside his room. It looked a lot like how it had when he first arrived… bare walls, neatly made bed, dresser undecorated. He moved over to the closet and pulled his coat out and picked up his duffel bag. He emptied the few clothes he had in the dresser into his duffel bag. Leaving, temporarily, the same way he had arrived, duffel bag over his shoulder and coat on his back. He had made an impact here at the Mansion, most certainly or Tricity would not have accepted him into the X-Men, but his room did not show it. He stepped out, looking at Wire and Fade. “Jenny, Wire, do you guys wanna grab anything from your rooms before heading out?”

((Seriously!!! What if I don't wanna close the doors? huh, huh?....it's okay, boss lady.))
Daria turned back to the doc. "so...can I deliver the baby?"
He raised an eyebrow at her. She moved out of the way for the nurse and then took her original place by Tricity. She decided she could give moral support.
"Sarah once had a vision of what me and Mike's kid would look like and it triggered this whole discussion on what powers it would have. I'm really excited to see, aren't you?"
The nurse began to prop Tricity up.
"How's the dialation?" the doc asked the nurse who putting a sheet over Tricity's knees.
